I was surprised that after putting in my order it was out in about 3 minutes!!! I liked seeing the server out all quick in their skates and all super helpful and friendly! Never been a fan of their food, IMHO it's a bunch of overly greasy food that really upsets my stomach. Everything we ordered was just dripping and saturated and it's such a huge turn off that we haven't ever been back. Their drinks do look intriguing and I would roll through for that, super cool how they have so many combos to choose from. It's also neat that you can drive up and self order from a stall and have your food be served to you by a 50's style car hop on roller skates. Drove through the other day to get a gift card and the employee at the time of order was so stunned she went silent and had to repeat herself a couple times. Apparently, if they email you and offer you a gift card after a horrid review, yelp removes the bad review. Apparently because my bad review is gone now and I would never accept a gift card because who wants a gift card for another crappy experience? The older guy that works here knows absolutely nothing about customer service. I asked for a cream slush, not blended. And to verify that he understood what I meant, I told him that I wanted a slush with ice cream in it, like a slush float. He said they didn't make those anymore, and after some back and forth he added it to my order like he was going to do it. When I get my order, it's blended. I told him that I didn't want it blended and he started to try to make up some lie about how it blends naturally (no it doesn't, I've ordered these since I was a teenager and have never had a problem). I told him that's not what I wanted. He refused to give me what I ordered, so at that point I just asked for my money back. He closed the window and I waited for a few minutes not knowing what was happening. It sounded like maybe there was some yelling going on? When the door opened again, it was a different employee holding the thing that I asked for. I also want to add that during my interaction with the original, uncooperative employee, I heard him tell another customer at the order box that he "can't do that because it's too early in the morning" (it was lunchtime). We were heading to McDonald's when my Grandson suggested Sonic. Why not? We were In our pool all day and were exhausted. All of us were in Pajama's and had planned to eat in our van anyway. I pulled in to the drive in, and was greeted over the two way radio by Kyle. He was patient and very knowledgeable. The food was mediocre and nothing to call home over. Children's hot dogs ( plain in a bun) were pricey. I told them we could've bought them at Costco. Again, we were in PJ'S They don't come back and dispose of your trash. What can I say about this place. It's typical fast food but as far as fast food is concerned, it's good. The kids love coming here so they can eat in the car. The staff is always friendly and even comes out to the car to finish taking your order if they are having a hard time hearing you. Honestly, we rode through Murrietta to drop something off from LA and were so hungry, and a chili dog sounded soooo good. When we got there it was super fast, and the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
