Workers take a very long time to take orders. We went to the drive thru and waited for more than 15 minutes. We decided to go to the window and they sent us back to the start and wouldn't let us order. Surprisingly, the people behind us didn't have a problem ordering. They also have a great menu, all kinds of things to choose from... burgers to hotdogs, chicken to breakfast. You can eat in the car, or sit outside on the patio. I've been coming to Naples for 8 years. Sonic has always been one of my destinations on each visit. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall condition of this location and the attentiveness of the help is in a steady decline. The employees, at times cannot grasp simple orders. The order intercom has a distorted sound. The grounds themselves need some sprucing up, with the overhead canopy very rusty underneath and some of the ground level lighting panels missing with wiring exposed. Bird droppings are everywhere in the parking lot and the patio area. Last time I ordered on the Sonic app I waited 20 minutes before driving up to inquire (their tablet wasn't working). Is it really that big of job to take 15 minutes occasionally to hose the place down? Apparently so here. At least they got rid of those damn paper straws. read more

We waited over 15 minutes after ordering our ice cream all the while having to listen to two homeless people who were sitting at the sonic picnic tables yell at each other. The car next to us arrived after us and then got their food first. Would leave zero stars if I could. Went to the drive thru, my husband gave our debit card to pay and the employee handed him back the receipt on top of what felt like a card. When my husband was putting his card back in his wallet, he saw it wasn't his card, but some key card for something else. Thankfully we were still waiting on our food. "that guy" in front of me never even moved so I picked another lane!" LOL Sonic was a great novelty to break from the norm of Fast food on the East trail. I used to have a job that put me nearby during lunch time 2 days a week. It was a toss up between here and Long John Seafood shoppes and a few other choke and run places down in the opposite direction I ended up at LJS partly due to nostalgia Ahoy! and partly due to wanting seafood treasures arrrhgh! Over here you get your basic Old style drive up with a modern twist. Choices are 6 Burgers or 8 types Dogs. I like the chili dog and corn dog, just for ease. This gives me good memories of The drive up A&W root beer place, and drive in movie theater without the movies of course. you can come to see some of the cruisers on the weekend. or just hang with friends and watch the parking lot or traffic on the E. trail. Last night I went to sonic and order two m&m shakes they came without whipped cream and a cherry on both which was pretty upsetting. So I go drive down the road put my straw in the shake and find that both are a plain vanilla so I turn around and go back in the drive thru and tell them they messed up. The guy comes out the back door and takes our shakes and was about to walk away. Here I am thinking he is going to throw those away and make fresh ones but then he come back to ask for me to take off the lids then I watch him through the window throw some m&ms in there and start to blend, which is very unsanitary because I already drank out of the milkshake and now he is using the same blender that every milkshakes goes in. THEN when I get it back it is so milky and gross I don't even want it anymore so I throw it away ! read more

Great big menu with so many choices. I love the car hop service or sitting outside eating. Could be cleaner outside. Service could be faster. Love the croissant breakfast sandwich or the Texas toaster. French toast sticks are good. Tots are also good, a lil greasy and oily tasting. Food is all a little greasy and tastes like old oil. Prices are a little higher than typical fast food places, but more options. Shakes taste like fake ice cream and too sweet, great options and shake menu though with mix ins. Stopped in here for a quick lunch with my family. Ordered hotdogs happy meals for the kids I had a Chicago dog and tater tot's. We have eaten at other sonic drive-in locations before and the food was fine. My kids complained right away that their hotdogs tasted bad. I took a bite thinking that the kids were just complaining, however, the hotdogs tasted horrible and they had a terrible smell. Came here to see the chicks on roller skates and to get a milkshake. Instead I got some dude (no roller skates) and a hamburger. My smoothies were okay ( I wanted just watermelon, all they had that was close was cherry strawberry or something like that) the hamburger was actually better than I expected.and actually tasted like real meat. Then the top to my smoothie popped off as the poor server handed it to me, getting sticky slushy all over my console. NOT cool I would have asked for another cup, but Chaquita behind the glass looked like she might kick someone's butt if anyone bothered her too much. So I just tucked my tail between my legs and drank it down so it wouldn't splash all over my car's upholstery. A lot of old folks seem to frequent this place, as the prices are cheap and they seem to smoke-signal them in with 1960's music they blast over the radio. We're not regulars here and we only stop in occasionally. But each time our food is delivered hot and tasty. Employees have always been friendly. During our most recent visit, we received the wrong order. No biggie. The manager came out, apologized and offered to comp our desserts. Not necessary, but appreciated nonetheless. Speaking of dessert, we ordered the molten chocolate cake topped with strawberry and bananas. We were very surprised! It was delish. The food is basic fast food, but I would actually choose it over the other 3 fast food burger joints. I'm giving them extra credit for service hence the 4 stars. read more

I don't think there is a better burger under 5 bucks than the Sonic Super Double Cheese Burger. Always delivered to me as Hot N Juicy with loads of flavor. Added to that, Sonic is way ahead of other Burger Joints with the variety of Soft Drinks. Service has always been fast and friendly. Don't go unless hungry. People who are not really hungry usually find something to complain about. read more

This Sonic has completely fallen apart. I don't know what happened this past month; but, I have had the worst experience lately. Most recently, I pulled into the bay to place an order like usual. I noticed that the employee had a hard time hearing my order. It didn't show up on the screen; but she acknowledged the order so I just thought there was something wrong with the screen. There have been a couple of times where the service was so bad, I drove away before getting my order--after ordering. I had waited once, for over 20 minutes with three cars in front of me. Did I say the service sucks? Most recently, I gave this disgusting location (by that, I mean dirty and rundown) another chance. I ordered a strawberry shake (which are incredible for fast food...) and they gave me a chocolate shake. The person with me noted that I clearly said STRAWBERRY. I got chocolate. Suffice to say, I will never be back. The WORST Sonic anywhere. I have been to some great Sonics, where the people working there actually care about what they do.
