The food is good however when me and my husband went to dine in with two of our friends for a birthday, we ordered an extra large pizza of the chicken parm. The waitress very adamantly told us "no you got a large " after both me and my friend who heard the conversation said that I said extra large. Under new management!!! Ok guys... I decided to give this little pizza joint a second chance, and "WoW" what a change!!!! The pizza is cooked to perfection, the sauce is wonderful and the team works fast and diligent. The owner Paul is so down to earth and makes sure his staff is on point with the food and service. The assistant manager Joey is very knowledgeable and makes wonderful recommendations, not to mention such a hard worker and he makes the cheesecakes from scratch. Move over Cheesecake Factory, there is a little Joey making some headway with those desserts!! And don't get me started on the chicken wings!!!! They are a good size and truly the best wings I've ever had!!!! My favorite is the buffalo with ranch on the side but also the garlic Parmesan. Ask for the wings to be crispy with the sauce on the side. We couldn't get enough of it! Rarely do I have such a poor experience like this one. We ordered ahead on Friday and gladly waited the time - ready on time. The pizza toppings were missing on at least 1/3 of each of our 3 pizzas. The sauce was super sweet and other than that not much taste. They salads were not prepared as promised - 3 toppings we did not want on it were... leaving the after taste on the salad - gross. We have picked up pizza here several times and have never been disappointed. We always get the stuffed pizza with pepperoni and meatballs. It is great, especially if you are a cheese and crust person. Marinara dipping sauce is included for dipping purposes. Yum. read more

I have noticed over the past year this restaurant portions have decreased in size and the prices have gone up. A coupe of weeks ago I ordered a meatball sub. I asked for a little more mozzarella cheese as the portion on the sub was minimal. I was rudely told that I could not have any more cheese unless I paid an extra fee. I was a good customer who ordered regularly. I will never go back and recommend to readers to go to Joey D's or one many of the other Italian restaurants I'm North Naples. So many times I've asked for extra sauce or cheese at other restaurants with no issues whatsoever. The manager could have handled this much better. She was rude and could care less about customer satisfaction. I will never go back! read more

Went from no-cook days to ordering from here at least 6 times a week. TO NONE. The large pizza is paper-thin, Lacks cheese, and lacks flavor. Try to hold a slice like you'd hold a New York Style pizza, and it's so thin that it can only flop over. NOT the place it use to be. read more

It's just basic pizza and not worth all the extra money they charge. I asked for extra cheese and sauce previously and they just placed big scoops of cheese and sauce all over the pizza and ruined it. This time I had my husband go in the store to pick up our order of one pizza and they added an antipasto salad that clearly wasn't on our order and made him pay for it. Neither of us liked the salad. The pizza we ordered was supposed to be half bbq chicken, half meat lovers and they made it all bbq chicken. For a $25 pizza you would think they could at least make it correctly. Food was wonderful. From pasta to pizza and garlic bread. The staff was very friendly, attentive and food served to customers in a relatively fast. Although the ambiance was somewhat rustic, their was family with kids and all appeared to enjoy the food as much as my family and I. The plaza in which this Italian restaurant was located my be somewhat out of peoples view from the road, to me, it is a local hidden gemstone. The staff friendliness topped with outstanding flavorful food made the experience all that much better. I even noticed locals picking up order to which they called ahead of time and greeted by name by the staff. Overall, a great find and highly recommended. Kids enjoyed the food as well as their family. Job well done! To the owners, highly suggest remodeling the inside as well as painting inside as the restaurant deserves some remodeling inside in order to make it all the way to a five star level. read more
