Idk what happened. I ordered 2 corn dogs. Guy handed me the bag. I opened the bag and I had two empty corndog pouches. When I asked for my corn dogs they told me the receipt THEY gave me wasn't from their location and that I'd have to return to the other one. THEY HAD JUST HANDED ME THE BAG! It never left my hand... I called at 10:50p.m. to make sure this location was still open and taking orders, the person who answered the phone confirmed. I live a couple minutes away, arrived at 10:52p.m. went through the drive thru, where I was informed they are only taking drink orders since they close at 11:00p.m. What a joke, the person who answered the phone should have disclosed this. I called the location off of Britton/Penn area, 7 minutes away, asked if they had a full service menu until closing, and this location does, the guy on the phone was nice enough to take my order over the phone, so when I pulled in at 10:59 I could pay for our meal before they closed. read more

We pulled into a stall & placed two mobile orders at 10:20 pm. Their closing time is 11:00. Our orders were accepted & paid for, but after 15 minutes we'd gotten no response. I pushed the red button & was told "Drive thru orders only". The employee 'hung up' before I could explain that we'd already placed & paid for two orders totaling over $50. I pushed the button again, & the same lady said, "DRIVE THRU ORDERS ONLY!" I explained what we'd done, & she said we'd have to pick the items up in the drive thru, which was now eight cars long. Ridiculous!!! If you're open until 11:00 but stop taking stall/mobile orders before that, the app should reflect this & not let people order! The stalls should be marked! Numerous cars pulled in, & everyone got the same response. Many left, & we would have too, had we not already paid. When we finally got to the drive thru window at 10:51, 31 minutes after we'd ordered, there sat our food, COLD. Awesome! So we spent $50+ dollars (and tipped, thinking we'd get our orders from a carhop) only to get cold food from a cranky employee. Sonic, you can -- and should -- do better! read more

This spot is by far on of the hardest working stores in our area. Every morning the come out with a smile and do their best. This amazing Staff is always friendly quick to learn regulars. (even though this is a fast food spot) We go out of our way to stop by here just to make sure I can do my part to help them make some money during their day. The food is always on point for us. *chefs kiss* Drinks are always made correctly for us and if anything is wrong like it's the end of of the box and the soda is flat, all I have to do is mention it and they fix it without and gruff. Out and about today, so decided to try a Sonic way out of my area. My food was brought out by a young girl named Erika. She was smiling and very pleasant. Got my order out promptly. She told me to have a great day and come back soon. As I ate, I watched her coming and going and she was always smiling with a bounce in her step. Just had to wait in a long drive thru line because they decided to do drive-thru orders only tonight. Anyways, finally got our order and they had messed up what should have been a shake and gave us a slush instead. So we pulled into the stall to try and get it corrected real quick. We pressed the button 4 times and each time a lady came on and quickly said "were doing drive thru orders only tonight" without even giving us a chance to speak and explain the situation. I'm not going to wait in a drive thru line 5 cars deep at one of the slowest fast food restaurants in America to get my order right! I live close that is the only reason I ever go here. The employees are rude and make you feel as if you are inconveniencing them. They constantly mess up on your order. I had placed a mobile order at 10:15 ish and was already there at that time so I checked in immediately. I sat there for probably 5-6 minutes and realized the screen didn't have my profile so I figured they were on their way... they weren't. I waited and waited and finally gave up around 10:30 so I pressed the red button to "place and order" I told them that I had a mobile order and it said it was delivered but I still haven't received it yet, the girl told me they were only doing drive thru orders at that time so she told me to come through the drive thru... So they knew I was out there as soon as I placed my order and didn't bother to inform me that they are only doing it through drive thru. Then proceeded to let me wait 15 minutes until I, not them, I got ahold of them asking about my order. No apology just "come through the drive thru" I usually don't get mad about mess ups with fast food but this was honestly ridiculous. They still messed up my order which didn't make the matter any better. I wasn't even the only one that they ignored. There was another car that came not too long after me and was sitting there that I heard talking to the screen at 10:30 then they went to the drive thru. That's when I decided to call them through the screen. I never tip that much at sonic and literally felt like giving them more since it was more that what I usually order then they do this... won't be tipping on the app anymore or going to this sonic ever again that's for sure. read more

So I go here almost every morning!!!!!! There's this employee (African American female) I believe her name is Shai and she had the worst 'employee and customer' interaction I've ever had in my life. She was very brief with me, dam near throw my food out the window into my car. Now I would like to mention that I ordered fresh tater tots. And they were no where near fresh. Horrible service. Wrong orders, ridiculously slow to take order, and then deliver them. Often rude service while placing the orders. Been this way for years. I try going every so often thinking they will have fixed things but always disappointed that the service is allowed to be so bad. Be prepared to wait up to twice as long as any other Sonics in the metro, even when few to no other cars in the stalls. In serious need of overhaul and training. read more

Stopped by for a drink during Happy Hour. I'm always hesitant to order a sweetened drink from Sonic since more than half the time, it's SUPER sweet. We kindly asked the person taking our order for a slightly sweet iced tea. The first sip was DELICIOUS! I have several bad experiences at this Sonic location but I'll focus on only one of them. I pulled in for a Route 44 unseatened ice tea. I was the only car there. After 15 minutes I inquired whether I'd be receiving my drink and told them the exact time I placed my order and that it had been 15 minutes. They had no idea what I was talking about. When I finally received my order I really expected them to comp it for good customer relations. Nope! I was charged full price. Twenty minutes to to put ice and tea in a cup and the only customer.
