We like using the mobile app, it has some pretty good deals. So far we've had the food long coney dogs and grilled cheeseburgers, twisted pretzels and half price cheeseburgers. Today we're tried their drink specials I got a large strawberry fruit slushie and a dr pepper both half price right now. Also got a corn dog too. Had to wait 20 minutes to get our order. Only one person in a stall and one in the drive thru. So don't know what the hold up was. Had to press the button on the stall to ask how long it will be. My corn dog was ok. I don't like their honey mustard, it Gooey and has a slight horse radish flavor. I prefer regular old mustard. When I got my large drink they gave me a small straw not the appropriate size for a large drink. It didn't reach the bottom of the drink and fell through the lid into the drink. Drove across the street because Carl's Jr. was having issues with their registers and were only accepting cash. Was really yearning for a Famous Star with cheese. First of all, long wait. And it wasn't even that busy. Ordered Sonic's double cheeseburger, without ketchup and special sauce. When I unwrapped it it looked like mush. The lettuce was shredded in tiny confetti-like bits, so were the onions. Tomatoes looked like they'd been under a heat lamp for days. Meat had no flavor. It all looked like it had been whipped up in a blender and pasted between the buns. I got a headache and stomach issues about an hour later. Carl's across the street has a superior burger. A flame broiled patty, a real green leaf of lettuce, fresh tomatoes and it almost resembles the photo in the menu. Never eating at Sonic again. When we parked in one of the stalls, we hit the button to order but after 5 min the screen reset itself to the main page. We decided to just go through the Drive Thru instead and quickly received our order. As for the food, we ordered: Bacon Peppercorn Ranch Grilled Cheese Burger - This was a new item and we wanted to try because we like ranch. The sauce was super light I wish they gave some on the side. They do put a good amount of cheese & bacon. It wasn't anything amazing but it was as expected. Chili Cheese Tots - I did enjoy these. We found one that looked like it worked but it timed out and no service, so we switched to the drive thru after waiting at least 10 minutes being ignored while the drive thru line was moving.. Service sucks! Tried ordering from our car. Waited ten minutes and no one answered. So he headed to drive through for 20 minutes if wait time. Andrea the manager is unskilled in this ranking position. She needs schooling and/or another job. Terrible customer service. Wants to argue with customers as we witnessed a situation with a customer and her as we drive up. This Place needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Uniforms too. The take out windows are dirty. All you see are fingerprints. Inside is a mess. This night we ordered one corn dog and one chili cheese tater tots. They forgot to hand us tots. Had to park and walk in. Andrea greeted me with a mad face. Handed me wrong order. Very rude and unprofessional little girl. I told her she was being rude. When she came out again to bring correct order she demanded I not talk to her like that in front of her co workers. She was confrontational and was lucky we ignored her. This Sonic is better for just the drive thru. One issue is about half of the parking stalls to order are out of service, so it's all drive thru. Even the drive thru screen doesn't work. Go to this Sonic for a bag of crushed ice and some dessert - Cinnasnacks with cream cheese frosting. The other food has not been that appetizing the last few times, so this all I go to get. As my son was drinking his slushie from your establishment, he brought to my attention that the cup was written on by an employee of yours. I was absolutely horrified and more upset that my 8 year old child had read this derogatory statement written on his cup. I drove back from my house back to sonic tonight to speak to the manager. I approached the drive thru window and a young woman came to the window. I asked to speak with her manager and a woman who gave me the name "Utie" said she was the manager. I showed her the cup and asked her who wrote this derogatory statement on my child's cup and she said to me"I don't know I don't watch them make it." I then let her know how outraged and how extremely unprofessional that was and she was very rude and had a smirk on her face the entire time I was speaking to her. I asked for a corporate number and she said for me to "look it up." I said I tried and I cannot find it I would like it from her. She said multiple times "I'm not going to give you their number." I said "why not?" She then said "because I'm not." She then rolled her eyes and shut the window on me and never came back. I have a recording of her doing so. Let me start by saying that at any Sonic in general, I wouldn't order food items other than the burgers. I've tried many of the other food items, and they just aren't that good at all. Of course, Sonic is known for their drinks, which are delicious! At this location specifically, the mobile app very often says "temporarily unavailable", which sucks because you get 1/2price drinks and rewards, coupons etc. They also always have signs up on the drive-thru stating menu items that are unavailable.
