Double double
Katie R.

Stopped in on the way back to the Bay from Paso Robles. This is the only In-N-Out from Salinas down to Atascadero, so it was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon. It's also right off the freeway entrance, so it's super convenient. Getting back onto 101 North couldn't have been easier. The drive through line was super long and the parking lot a little hectic, but we were able to get street parking. Despite how crowded it was, the line moved quickly and we were able to find a seat shortly after ordering. Service was friendly and food was good - exactly how In-N-Out should taste.

Double cheese burger with a pinch of napkin
Tori R.

I come to in n out often, it seems to always be the same with putting the napkins right on top of the burgers. It's disgusting, if I had not seen who knows what would have happened to me. Please change this in n out habit. Also this is the second time that the person taking my order charged me separately for everything, when I asked for the meal. The employees should be trained to do this. I almost drove 20 minutes back home if I had not checked to find out that fries were missing. I confirmed with both men if I had gotten the meals and they said yes, nope ended up getting no fries. Ended up getting charged separate I only mean to say this because it happens often

A double cheeseburger animal style, a cheeseburger animal style, plain fries and animal style fries. Delish

The animal style burger and animal style fries are always amazing! No matter how long the lines are, the staff keep the line moving - all day, every day. We always drive through but inside is equally busy, lots of seating, restrooms available. The employees need a tip jar for when people want to leave a tip. Employees are always pleasant and friendly.

The food at every in-n-out is pretty much always top notch. The one thing you can count on is the consistency they provide in favor and presentation. Unfortunately the other thing you can also count on is that there will be a long wait. It's almost as if, no matter how many they build, there's always overwhelming demand. This particular location was no exception. Showed up at 8 PM to a huge line of cars in the drive through and a line of about 8 people inside. The only reason for minus one star is that the men's bathroom was super dirty and one of the toilets was in a continuous flush mode which is a huge waste of water.

Yum

I recently learned on kiosks teriyaki char you can add extra pineapple plus bacon and minus onions, it makes for tasty burger. Well done makes the patty taste crispy. Unseasoned, If we go here I have bring sandwich bag. My brother eats chicken or steak sandwich from what I'm recalling last time we ate in His fiancé had chicken cob salad. It goes fast. Drink selection is interesting: in house tea, juice mix and vitamin water. I decided because cupholder in car only fits regular cups to get regular only from now because I was holding cup of Large cup previously, and I would dropped it because feels too flimsy. Regular size seems more stable. Service is fast and speedy by Togo, and stay to eat. If you stay, it's well lit and very clean. Windows don't have smudges unless you put them there. Road travel can be challenging enough, and being treated like only a number isn't satisfying. Dear Hubby and I stopped by on a Friday evening during the long drive from Southern California to the Bay Area. He was hungrier than I was, and I struggled to find something on the lighter side that was still tasty. I had decided on the albacore tuna sandwich and splitting a side of onion rings with DH. Then the drama with the kiosk ordering system began. Onion rings weren't coming up as a choice at all. The kitchen staff (including whoever was suppose to be available to run the regular register in case someone wants to pay with cash or has questions) were all busy, busy doing their things. Their backs were to their customers, which became annoying and rude. I DID have questions, and the kiosk wasn't allowing me to order what I wanted to order. I ended up telling DH what I wanted and gave up to go to the car as I'd forgotten something in there. When I came back he was waiting to fill up our drink cups. He gave me the table number card and I found a table. He said that he did get to speak with a human after all after I'd gone outside. Surprise, surprise! When the food came, my sandwich, while tasty, was super sloppy with too much sauce. I had a hard time eating it without risking wearing part of the 'wich on my clothes. It was an unsatisfying experience on many levels. I don't blame this store, per se - I realize that it's a decision foist on them by management up the food chain. I've always respected the Habit Burger chain, but that feeling took a big hit with the fiasco at the Salinas location. I didn't feel welcome or appreciated. Removing the human connection is a big mistake for any business that requires building customer loyalty. Saving a few bucks on a real worker by installing an ordering kiosk that's not smart is not good business, in my humble opinion. I would not plan to return to this location, and will not have Habit as a top choice for dining out any time soon at other locations.

A couple of friends and me took the opportunity to stop by on our drive back to LA from the Bay Area (along the 101). First impression: one of those convivial breweries with a thriving locals aspect and vibe. Friends I was with are really into craft beer, so we felt right at home. The folks here were super friendly and welcoming. As a matter of fact, there were some cookies made from another regular that was offered to us while we were there. And those cookies were delish. They have a good variety of styles on draft, but I opted for the BA Barleywine, which was excellent. They also had the football games playing on the TV there so there was that sports bar aspect without being to crowded/ crazy. This place is located in an industrial area of Salinas. We didn't have a problem at all finding parking. Love their beers and love this spot. I would definitely hit it up more if I was able.
