It makes me feel bad when I have to write a negative review but, I just can't let this go. Went there when Sonic had their chili cheese dogs on sale for $1.00. Ordered 5 with added onions and mustard and their wonderful home made onion rings. Easy order, right? Nope. First, they were out of onion rings. How do you run out of a product you make in-house? It's 11:45 am Secondly, when I got home, there were no onions or mustard on the hot dogs or packed in the box. There was a limit on the chili cheese dogs of 5, that was okay, but they put 7 in the box. Not that I am complaining, but can they not count? I was in line for 15 to 20 minutes with no one in line ahead of me. What is taking so long? There is a serious problem with this Sonic. Where is the manager? Are employees smoking pot/drugs. I don't know. But it is like this, "SLOW & WRONG" every time we go there. Tried calling the restaurant when I got home to complain about the no onions & mustard, and guess what? The phone just rang and rang......... Another fast food place with ZERO customer service, Won't be back here again. read more

Just went through the drive thru and not only did I sit in lune for about 30 minutes, they got most of my order wrong and when I asked about it they said that's not what they heard. And said I could pay to get what I asked for not going back. It's a waste of money to go here. read more

We don't have a Sonic in our area so when we are near Sonic we always stop by. We've always have good service. The gentleman Int the drive thru was really nice and got our order right and gave us extra sauces to try. read more

I pulled up push the red bottoms and the screen notifies me that I'm in que to have my order taken after about 20 minutes of waiting it resets back to push button for service. I pushed it again and waited 10 more minutes before driving off. They weren't even that busy. read more

Why is this place the slowest place in town!? Ever time it take forever. I order three flavored waters and a bag of ice. Waiting 29 minutes. With two cars in front of me. One of the car left out of line even. If I didn't love there ice I would never go back. One time I even with in thinking that will be faster. Nope. Ok, they fooled me again. Only because I came late night the last time having an 1hr to burn, to my surprise they came out pretty quick with my app order with in 10mins. Today however I'm here , it's 102° and I've been waiting for 30mins which is not the 45mins as usual but again it's 102° out and all I order is drinks. I have the feeling it'll be another 30mins since they forgot my oŕder. How I know, my name dropped off the screen with no order in hand plus they have the audacity to bring someone else order who arrived 15mins after me, and they had to look up my order again. Hey I just spent 50.00 on food no bacon on my burger the drinks were wrong and one burger had rotten tomatoes. When I spoke with Royce he told me they have a bunch of new workers and I guess Royce is such a terrible manager he could train them. His resolve was to send me a 20.00 gift card from Sonic why would I ever eat there again even for free garbage is garbage free or not. If I owned this store I would be looking for a new manager. Been here 3 times and am finished with them. Yesterday long wait and food cold when we did get it. Fries tasted and looked old and were stone cold, burgers were soggy, and yes we ate food right outside the place. OKAY, well I ordered online 2 grilled cheese burgers and 2 orders of onion rings, and paid with my debit card. When I got to the cashier they informed me that they were all out of onion rings. This was around noon. Who is out of food by noon? So, all I got were the burgers. So, I asked for a refund for the onion rings only to be told that I would have to call to get a refund. I finally got my refund, but I had to jump through hoops of fire to get it. when I went to get my refund the ground around the front door was littered with trash, and an over flowing trash can at noon. Flies were all around there. Very trashy and tacky. And, to add insult to injury the burgers were terrible. cold, and the meat was hard and tasteless. They probably spit in your food, too! No more for me! Got along without sonic, and I'm gonna get along without them now! Nothing is worth the hassle. read more

Just want to shout out Estevan for the superior service today! He is understaffed and his headset went out but he still killed it with exceptional customer service. I put in a mobile order for 2 blast, arrived checked in and the system said it was on its way. Well, 15 minutes later I hit the button and the girls says its there sitting on the counter. Well, you would think someone would bring it as it's ice cream. Not a chance. I flagged down one of the girls that delivered food to a car next to me. She went, brought my order but as you already know!!! The ice cream was melted. I had her look at it and she apologized and said she would go back and make new ones. And she did!!!! Also brought one size up from what I ordered. I thanked her and tipped her well. I was on my way to an appointment and because of the way the drive thru is designed, I couldn't get out until I was at the menu/speaker, only to have the employee put me on hold TWICE. The wait at this Sonic location is horrendous and the lady taking orders at the drive thru named Jasmine was so rude! No customer service skills whatsoever! She responded to you as if YOU were wasting her time and just seemed annoyed! Ma'am, I'm a paying customer. I'm not asking for free food, plus it's expensive. She's very bad for business. Today I visited the Sonics at 1810 San Jacinto #6721 Saturday 11/27/21 @ 13:10 pm. I was disappointed at the service I received today. I placed my order and confirmed it as well but I did not receive what I ordered. (See circled items on receipt) I ordered 2 French fries with chili cheese on top but I got 1/tater tot with jalapeño and cheese and 1/tater tot with chili cheese. The young lady that came the car, came an attitude after I explained the problem, she went back to correct it, another young lady brought the replacement and she was the one who had the bad attitude. She just shoved the bag into my granddaughter's hand she didn't say a word just walked away as I was telling my granddaughter to give both tater tots back, she just continued to walk away. Now mind you I didn't get the order wrong, but she acted as though I was in the wrong. I tiled my pre-teen twin granddaughters " now if you get jobs dealing with the public do not act like she just did". Needless to say I will not patronize the Sonics read more

This place is terrible! My cheeseburger toaster was made wrong and it was stale, the tots were also stale, and the grilled cheese was made incorrectly. There was a burger patty in between the cheese. When I ordered a sweet tea, I was told by the person over the intercom that there was no sweet tea made and she had to make it herself when she came on shift. read more

We pulled in at 10pm. Ordered at 10:05. Received 1/2 our order at 10:45pm. But On the plus side our young server Lindsey was amazing. She worked so hard and ran back and forth to the cook. I appreciated her good work Ethic and positive attitude when things beyond her control were slowing her down. By 11:15pm we finally received other 1/2 of the food. The food was good. All my teens liked it. But the wait was too long. Every place has a bad night so I will try this place again 1 more time. But if it is this long again, I'm definitely not coming back. I do not recommend anyone to go to San Jacinto Sonic. They take too long, it's not even funny. I go to Hemet Sonic by Sanderson and Stetson. It is owned by the same owner, I heard, but the service is fast. I live in San Jacinto but will not mind driving all the way to Hemet Sonic. I perhaps will come back to Sonic in San Jacinto 10 years from now, when the service speed hopefully improved. read more

Every time you go to this Sonic you will wait over 30-45 minutes for your order. I even ordered online tonight to see if it would be faster. When I arrived to the store I pulled into a stall and told them I was there to pick up my order. They told me all the stall were closed tonight and to enter the drive through. I waited in the drive through for around 40 minutes just to get to the window and for them to tell me they lost my order. I have been to this store about 6 times at different times and the wait is always the same. I won't be returning. read more

Wow wow wow!!! My husband & I got food made wrong yesterday but had to rush to a wedding . When we had already left the busy drive -thru ...& a busy busy line we had too rush & go & couldn't turn around ! We called & called to get it replaced another day when back in town.... So today we called no answer, tons of people waiting for service " that's not good!" & my husband even walked in earlier today after no answer & still poor customer service. So we did our laundry & decided too try one more time to get our order made "wrong" replaced ! Manager "Lee," made my husband & I sit in the drive- thru with no line for over 20 minutes! I go to the sonic in hemet and san Jacinto once a year to see if their poor service changes and it never does. Either the order is wrong or the wait is so long i start to get a damn sunburn. I literally order a plain cheeseburger and they cant get it right. Today i timed my wait time to get my order and it was 10min and i hadn't even ordered yet. I asked if i could order and she said, "hold on" and i can see her in parking lot talking to someone and having a grand ole time. Dont waste your money here when there is a habit right next door with better service. read more

Tried once again to order thru the app at Sonic's and it was a mess. After 15-20 minutes a very rude girl came to my car to advise they don't make onion rings at this location anymore because they are too hard to make. I said fine just refund those. She says they don't refund. You can have fries or tots. I said they aren't the same price and besides I don't want those. After much argument I lost my temper and said I don't want your fries or tots. They are shi**y. I didn't call her a name I just said their fries and tots were. This enraged this girl. In the end the manager refused to speak to me. When I went inside he finally stuck his head out like he was too busy to be bothered and said they don't give refunds. I called the 800 number and they are refunding my order in 10 business days. My recommendation is go someplace else. This place is terrible. read more

A responsible management team should be able to plan for demand and order accordingly. Respect for customers' time should have been shown bu having someone outside to advise of the situation or posting a sign so those who were there for the ice cream didn't wast their time. read more

Every time we come here it's 30 or more minutes for something as simple as a drink . Today we came and I've been at the window drive thru for 20 minutes and counting. The girl were just talking and not doing anything until the manager shower up and they ended up telling me my next visit will be free. I doubt I'll be coming back. This is without a doubt the worst Sonic I have ever been to. Went here Thursday evening around 6:30pm. Pulled up to a stall and hit the red button to order. About 5 minutes goes by, and then a voice comes on to tell me that the stalls are closed. Ok, I get it short staffed or whatever. We pull over to the drive thru, where there are 6 cars in front of us. Roughly 30 minutes later we make it to the order screen, and then we sit there for another 10 minutes before a voice comes on to ask us what we need. Seriously "What do you need"? I say we want a cookie dough blast and a medium banana shake. The voice comes back on and mumbles something not understandable. I say what, and she informs me that they have no ice cream. Seriously after 40 minutes in line, and that's it. They couldn't put up a sign or have someone come out and tell people. Whoever owns this location, your help is killing your business. If you are like us, and get a Sonic craving every once in a while, visit the location in Hemet. This location just disappoints. read more
