If I could give zero stars, I would. Wow. I had never had a bad experience with a Sonic. Until now. We pulled in wanting shakes or ice cream treats. Ordered one mixer with cookie dough and chocolate syrup, plus one chocolate shake. We pulled forward and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally got the items. Server was grumpy. Forgot spoon and straws. Thought it was strange that mine was a double layer of cups. Found out soon after I took a bite and got a mouth full of styrofoam. It took forever for us to get our food to start and when we did it one burger was half burn and dried out and all of the fries and tater tots were ice cold , then to top it off I found hair strands in my strawberry shake. read more

I never really go for the food, but every once in a while I need a great bev, and they have more options than other fast food places. Cherry limeade, shakes, etc. I usually go for the large cherry limeade and I seriously love their ice pellets. The drive-in service was kind of slow, but it all worked out in the end. We got our beverages and were on our way. It's been a LONG time since I've had food from sonic, so I will not provide additional detail, but I simply recall it was not memorable. I'll add more if I try again! It will still be a convenient spot for a drink or shake, but probably not going to be my number one option if I'm hungry. read more

Multiple checkin boards when you enter were out of service but it wasn't until you pulled that you discovered it. After several attempts we found one that worked. Order placed on app, came out quickly. Sure wish they would cone off the broke ones to save a person time. read more

It can be a treat to go to Sonic. In this case it was disappointing. The prices are reasonable and service was good - the time it took. The new features bacon burger was not at all as pictures. Small thin hamburger, too much sauce, cheese, one piece small bacon. The chili dogs were not loaded either The milk shake did not taste like real ice cream. Very disappointed with the flavor of food. Also, went to give waitress a tip and looking inside it was not clean. read more

I have deliberately looked up this place to leave a review in hopes that someone from Sonic will take notice. This is the worst Sonic I've ever visited. I have given them 3 chances at this point, and every time we visit, their menu is limited because they are out of something or a machine is broken. Today for example, there are churros and churro shakes plastered all over the windows and menus. We ordered churros, and they don't have them. Changed the order to a plain chocolate shake, and they are out of ice cream. Previously, they have been out of tots, mozzarella sticks, etc. Never plan to eat whatever the special menu items are because they never have it. Fed up. Do better or close it down. Was wondering why there were so many bad reviews of this place, but now I get it. Pulled into a spot and pressed the red button. Waited 15 minutes...at one point, a waitress walked past and I very politely asked "excuse me, ma'am...do you know how much longer the wait is?" Without even stopping or showing any kind of sympathy, she extremely rudely said "I don't know" and kept walking, didn't even look in my direction. (@management, I was there on May 31st at 12:35pm, and the waitress was the lady with the red hair. Abysmal customer service). I'm always very sympathetic towards food workers, I can understand how difficult it is to work in a pandemic like this. But there is no need for a bad attitude, especially because I made sure to be extremely polite and gentle when asking. After nearly 20 minutes of waiting, several other cars / customers who were also waiting got fed up and left. Finally, my order was taken. I asked for chicken poppers with honey mustard. Luckily, I only had to wait 8 minutes before the waitress brought my order to me. There was no honey mustard sauce. Ugh. Instead of waiting again, i decided to just eat them plain. They tasted extremely metallicky and gross, as did the tater tots and cherry limeade I ordered. Not sure if they just dumped oil into everything (including my drink), but that's certainly what it tasted like. Please, stay away from this Sonic at all costs. read more

Ordered a chicken sandwich and my wife ordered a cheeseburger. When the food arrived, my wife said her burger was cold. She opened it up and the cheese wasn't melted and the patties literally felt cold to the touch. We took it back and they brought another equally cold burger. Terribly & painfully slow. Sat in drive thru line for 10 min just to order. Didn't have much going on so we just decided to cut them some slack and wait it out. 20 minutes later we finally got our 2 item order. Over 30 minutes total. Came back the next weekend and decided to try our luck at the pull-up spots. Again, over 30 minutes for 2 items. No excuse, and I honestly hate to bash them because everyone we've ever delt with here has been extremely nice. I honestly think it's just a couple kids on their own. Look, most of us have been to a Sonic Drive drive-in. To do a review on a sonic drive-in is probably more a waste of time. You know what you are going to get. This sonic drive-in however is special. This sonic drive-in will make you feel like a ghost if you use the drive thru. Waiting for 4-5 minutes to get somebody across the speaker isn't unusual. Being ignored totally is also not unusual. If you're looking for any kind of Customer Service this is not the place to be. The competitor will most likely get my money when I'm in Scottsburg. read more

Okay, so I recently moved to Henryille. I was so excited to FINALLY be within 12 minutes of a Sonic. All the locations that were close to me before I moved here had shut down. I was so sad, because I absolutely love their slushies! I have visited 4 times so far and each time they have got my order wrong. I go because the drinks are worth it, but getting my food right is just not going to happen, I've realized. The FIRST time I visited I order the #1 classic Sonic burger. I asked for no lettuce and to add mustard and ketchup. Came without both, but at least there wasn't lettuce My drink was right so I didn't care too much. SECOND time- ordered the #1 again no lettuce add mustard and ketchup Came with just ketchup. (Drink was still correct. ) THIRD time - order the # 1 same deal no lettuce add mustard and ketchup. This time I told the person taking my order to please make sure there is mustard and ketchup, no lettuce. For my drink I ordered a Frozen strawberry lemonade. I noticed on the screen it didn't say frozen so, I reiterated that it was FROZEN. (Nicely) Burger has just ketchup (again ) And my drink came in the form of a slushie. Something they did do different, was put a bunch of mustard packets in my bag. I didn't ask for any condiment packets and they have never given them to me before. My theory was they realized they didn't put mustard on it and thought a mustard packet would suffice..I didn't send my burger back, but I did send my drink back. *I worked in fast food when I was a teenager and I know how the cooks were when people sent back food where I worked . That's just my own paranoia. I'm not accusing any Sonic employee of having the same practice. * FOURTH time- same order no lettuce add mustard and ketchup. It FINALLY came with mustard and ketchup... but was packed with lettuce. I swear. I give up on the food, but I'll always come for a delicious frozen drink. read more
