At five minutes before closing time, my wife apparently calls JFK Liquor (long distance) and asks for a favor. Since I'm going to be stuck there for our Anniversary she asks them to deliver a bottle of my favorite bourbon to the hotel. They not only delivered the bourbon, they decorated the bag and had it there before I checked in. You can't find service like this anymore. These people really care about their customers. I made my own combination and it wad great. Wait time was about 10 minutes because there was only one staffer but she was awesome-serving those inside and in the drive-thru. Really upsetting treatment. On the other hand, a younger man working in the liquor section brought me around the store to show me multiple options and gave his opinion on what I might like. He was extremely helpful. My experience would have been 10/10 if I had never had to interact with the older man in the wine section.

Plus it's they get a good bit of traffic from folks in many of the surrounding counties that are still considered "dry". You'd either have to come to Huntsville or go to College Station to buy liquor. Staff is helpful & haven't had issues with lines. Selection is pretty good & mark up isn't too bad either. I will say when shopping here, you need to think about where you are. No they probably don't have many high end or specialty items onsite like you'd see at stores in major cities, but I bet they can help you order & get it delivered to this location.

Oh my God, one and done…read more Swig doesn't allow you to go into the store and this is a drive-through location only (and kind of a too-jammed-up site as well). This was our first--and last--visit. I made a mobile order ahead of time, thinking that might facilitate things. WRONG. Got to Swig ten minutes later to find cars wrapped around the building. But they move pretty quickly, right? WRONG again. They had a kid out with his little flip menu taking orders, one excruciating car at a time. I finally got to the kid, told him I had a mobile order, and drove on to the window. At the window I was inexplicably asked to pull into a parking spot in front of the store, where we got to watch employees dashing around in the store, dropping stuff and literally ricocheting off each other. I'm serious. At least that was entertaining while we watched car after car (that made in-line orders) get served and roll on through while we sat. And sat. Without exaggeration, our order (three sodas, pretzel bites, and mini cookies) took nearly 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure they forgot us. And remember: you. cannot. go. inside. So there we sat, watching the show. When our stuff was finally brought out to us, I handed out the drinks and the pretzel bites.......no cookies . At this point we could only laugh. And YOU CAN'T GO INSIDE TO FIX IT. I was going to just spin around through the drive-through and ask for the damn stupid cookies, but yet again, there were cars around the building, and after 3/4 of an hour we were so done. Swig got our cookie money but they lost customers, not just because of the wait time fiasco (this is SODA ffs), but because to top it all off the sodas were awful. This isn't sour grapes or having to wait too long. They were grotty. If you like sugar on top of your sugar, and paying $30 for it, this is your jam. These drinks were so incredibly sweet they were inedible. There was no nuance or flavor profile...the menu made them sound so good, but the reality is you just taste genuinely epic (and not in a good way) amounts of sweetness. It all blends together--until it doesn't. Even with all the ice they aren't appealing. Five minutes later all the drinks had separated with clear liquid on the bottoms of the cups. Just...yuck. I can see 13-year-old kids swooning for this stuff, but if you have any sort of an adult palate whatsoever...you've been warned.
