I'm writing this because I've had multiple uncomfortable experiences at this location, which is disappointing because I genuinely enjoy Sonic's food and drinks. Most recently, when we were placing our order, the employee taking it (I believe her name was Lavish or something similar) was very rude. After we ordered the first item, the screen wasn't matching what we were saying, so we paused to make sure the order was correct. Instead of helping clarify, she told us with an attitude that we didn't need to stop and to just keep going. We were only trying to ensure the order was accurate. She also refused to make a blended Red Bull/slush even though it's something Sonic offers. After receiving our food, we went inside to ask for napkins and ketchup. A very kind employee immediately started helping me, but the same woman came over repeatedly asking if she could help, even after I explained I was already being helped. While we were eating outside, she continued staring at us through the window, which made the situation feel very uncomfortable. This also wasn't my first unusual interaction at this location. On a previous visit over the weekend during drive-up service, the employee handed us our food without responding when we greeted her--she just smiled awkwardly and said nothing. Tasty time at Sonic! Loved the new Pickle Fries. What a treat to have fried pickles nearby and pretty cheap. Got a double cheeseburger that was a tad dry. The bun was a bit deflated too. Beef left something to desired. How McDonald's nails a cheeseburger every time while this one was average is beyond me. Love Sonic's desserts too, be back next time for those. Probably the slowest sonic I have ever been to. Forgot all the sauces and sat in the drive through for 10 minutes and no one came on the intercom and eventually circled the building and got back in line on order to be helped. After being helped and getting my food no sauce was in the bag. Don't go here seems really understaffed and the staff that does work here needs better training read more

Nobody answered I pushed it again and again and 2 people next to me got angry and left because they had the same issue I did. Rotten milkshake, took 2 sips, asked them to make it again and warned them of the issue, employee was annoyed and threw it away in a weird way. Second milkshake still rotten, employee disregarded me and said she had no other complaints, I was the issue. I threw up, drove to the next Sonic, milkshake was great, I was not the issue. First of all, no sonic employee should ever feel like the perfect time to yell at me about my political beliefs is when they bring my food out, who the hell hired these people??? It's not their place to even bring up politics to customers. I'm sure sonic even has rules against talking about politics in the workplace. Let alone to customers. Will never return to this location. Honestly somewhat impressed that the girl was capable of getting that flustered and red in the face, looked like a tomato that's the only reason this gets 1 star is for entertainment. I love Sonic, but this one is consistently disappointing. I ordered cheddar bites, not knowing Sonic had taken them off the menu, and instead of saying, "We don't have those anymore, but we have jalapeño poppers, would you like those or something else?" they just brought me jalapeño poppers. And I'm sorry, but one is delicious fried cheese and the other has a dang pepper in it! Not the same - tell people that cheddar bites aren't a thing anymore, Sonic! We also went late on 4th of July weekend for ice cream because Freddy's and Chick Fil A next door were closed. That's why everyone else in the neighborhood was there too. I mean I'm talking PACKED - no parking spots open and the drive thru line was about to wrap around the building. I promise you, this was only the case because everything else near-by was closed so they should have been pumped to have so much business, but the people working the drive thru were totally rude and gave me a straw for my sonic blast instead of a spoon. Sonic used to be one of my cravings but in the past few months since I last stopped in, they've made a major change, and not for the better. Their buns used to be somewhat flat and large, and contained large but thin burger patties that were flavorful and yes, craveable. That was the way Sonic burgers were done for their entire history, as far as I can tell. I just returned home with Super Sonic Double Cheeseburgers and they were HORRIBLE. First, they were barely even warm - the cheese on them wasn't even melted to the patty! Second, the patties were now smaller but thicker, and on a way, way, way too thick and fluffy bun. Somehow burger places have gotten the idea that if you have a fluffier bun, people must think it's a bigger burger, when in reality it's just more and airier bread. The Super Sonic Double Cheeseburger flavor - gone completely. What was once something I went out of my way to get when I was near a Sonic has morphed into something not even worth driving across the street for. Why they made this change, I'll never know but it is NOT a good one, and simply put, I won't be back. EVER. You lost a devoted fan, Sonic. read more

Amazing service! All the carHops skate here! It's such a pretty location that is nested up to the mountains! I get the best service every time I bring my family up here. Last time, I got the #1 CB and it was delicious, with some sweet potato tots, and a Large Cherry Limeaide. Probably, the best drink of my life! I would highly recommend this Sonic Drive In due to its amazing customer service. They have amazing burgers with amazing carhops and managers! I disagree with the Steve below...a busy day at Sonic on the patio with a couple of awesome carhops flying by is a great was to have some fun while on the way to the mountains, the Flat-Irons, or just to have some lunch or dinner. 5 stars...everybody gets a bad burger once in awhile but great service happens at this one EVERY TIME!!! read more

I'm the first one to review this location right across from the mall?!? It's okay. It's Sonic. The meat patty on my burger was extremely thin and the fries were OK. I didn't really have anything else other than a Diet Coke and they managed not to screw that up. This location has both the car hop service and a drive up. The car hop is a unique experience and I like that you can pay with a credit card at the menu board, but who needs a drive-up? The food is not that good people. Anyway, I've been here two times now and the first time received excellent service - the second time when we dared to ask to keep the tray at the car we were treated like we were going to drive off and steal the 99¢ plastic tray. Honestly, It's a solid 2 star experience and nothing more once the novelty and uniqueness of car-window service wears off. There are better burger joints around. read more

You have to hit up Sonic for the stuff that made them famous - wacky drink combinations and lots of ice cream/slushee desert options. I don't know anywhere else where you can get a coconut cherry Dr. Pepper or an orange mango Sprite. The combos are endless! The desserts are great too...lots of mix-ins for your ice cream. The 'normal' food is just OK. It's fair as far as fast food goes. I really like the green chile cheeseburger. The chile has a nice zip to it. Other than that, most of the food is just 'meh'. We definitely don't go here to eat. It's a nice treat every once in awhile. As a bonus, their happy hour is 2pm-4pm and drinks are half price! read more

But, I vaguely recall the servers delivering your food on roller skates back in the day? Maybe I'm an old geezer now and that's a thing of the past, but if you're expecting that, then don't. It was probably a safety hazard anyway. What's worthwhile at sonic though, in my opinion, are the slushees! My personal recommendation is lemonberry, which features whole lemon slices and strawberries right in the mix. That icy cool beverage is perfect on a sweltering hot day. Like I said, there was no customers, so i really thought it will be a short wait. I decided to leave after 4 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Save your money, don't go here for Sonic Blasts. My husband and I went here for a special treat on Mother's Day evening. He got a Snickers Sonic Blast and I got a Butterfinger Sonic Blast. We took them home to enjoy and to our disappointment we received two vanilla milkshakes with a few candy sprinkles on the top. Thank goodness we had Hershey's syrup at home so we could make them a bit more palatable. Service was very fast and I guess I know why, it doesn't take much time to throw a few candy sprinkles on the top. This was our second trip there. On our first trip we ordered Sonic Blasts that had obscenities written on the bottom of the cups. We brought it to the attention to the attendant and he said "Sorry, the person inside made them for one of their friends in a different car". No offer to replace our items, no manager coming out to apologize...nothing. Two strikes and you are out. Never going here again. To the franchise owner....you need to clean house, hire new people and give them proper training, or sell quickly before you loose your investment. read more

I'm always enticed by the half-price shakes they have here at night, but I always end up going with the tried-and-true Sonic Blast. Damn those things are good... The service is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! I'm just sitting here studying outside and within an hour the workers here (all three or four are female) are yelling at customers. Yes literally yelling. A young girl didn't think the button was working and pushed it maybe three times and one lady stormed out the building and said "I'm not taking any of your orders!!!" Then a separate lady comes out and says, "you guys need to only use one stall when ordering " understandable but really? Then just now a group of college students arrive and one girl is ordering and a dude yells "wait 6 waters." I went through the drive through my order was taken, then I drove up to the window to get my total/items and the woman working the window glared at me and shouted that they were closed and for me to leave. On google, it says that this sonic closes at 11pm. This sonic actually closes at 10pm, but I did not know this at the time. When I was there at around 10:30, there were 5 or more other cars confused as to why no one was taking their orders. People were even honking to get the attention of the workers. The workers are so inconsiderate that they ignore customers rather than taking the time to tell them that they're closed. I get it that you're trying to close your store, but is it really necessary to hide from customers who are mistaken by the wrong hours on Google? Simply just tell each customer that arrives that late, "Sorry, we're closed." It's that easy. read more
