If I could give no stars, I would. Food borne Illness; negelegence Yesterday evening my boyfriend and I went to sonic. It was his first time and he had the chicken tender meal. His food was "luke warm" and our service was extremely poor. Our Oreo blast had no freaking Oreos and none of the sauces we asked for were included. Almost Immediately after finishing his food, my boyfriend started feeling very sick. He has had hot and cold flashes, bloody stool, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, feelings of being "scatterbrained" and most recently night terrors (which he's never had before) We believe it is food poisoning but potentially could be the flu. We filed a report with the general manager but haven't been to a doctor yet. (If no improvement we will be taking him in the morning) Edit 2: his symptoms are matching very closely to toxoplasmosis, I am taking him into the clinic when it opens. I work in customer service so I completely understand if you're busy or short staffed but this particularly sonic does not care about giving good service, resetting the clock or getting the order correct. The restaurant didn't send my drink with the driver on the original order. I got credited from UberEats and ordered again for redelivery and on that delivery they sent the wrong drink. This place is terrible. I gave it a try again last night at 10 PM after several months hoping that they improved their service. I love Sonic Drive Inn food but you can't even get the food here without waiting far too long. I sat in the drive through for five minutes. The customer at the menu in the front of the line still hadn't ordered. I left at that point. They seriously need to improve. I don't understand why Sonic corporate does not wipeout the management and start over. We did a mobile order today got there right before the "pick up time" and sat for 20 minutes in the stall checked in. I watched employees come out and just sit and talk with people in the walk up area for minutes at a time. We informed them our order and our money had been taken 20 minutes ago.
