Always get the orders wrong always sloppy every time has been a bad experience new crew and workers asap

This location is the worst! Both times I have been there it has taken more than 10 minutes to get our food. Oh and don't bother going when they are actually busy you will be looking at 30 minute wait. The slowest service I have ever seen. Today I ordered one coke one jalapeño popper with one person ahead of me it still took 10 minutes in the drive thru.. Ridiculous! Sonic, you at a fast food joint.. That means you prepare the food fast and get it out quickly to the customer. Nothing fast about this place..I can only blame Mgt! read more

Really, it's just a typical fast food place. Food is average, service is just about what you'd expect.

This Sonic has improved very recently. It seems like they have some newer employees that have been trained better and care about their jobs and customer service. I will update this review again if I see more improvements. I am definitely more likely to stop there when my kids need a snack, now. read more

I worked there and had to leave. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT EAT THERE. Employees do not wash their hands, an employee was caught picking their nose and then making food not washing Another was playing in their hair and then made food and didn't wash. Employees yell and cuss at customers. They can't keep staff. The mangers are horrible. Nobody there really cares. Unsanitary. Cups and lids falling on the dirty floor and being reused. Employees putting their hands in the warmer eating cooked foods. The manager saw and did nothing. JUST A DISGUSTING PLACE OVERALL. read more

I have never been to sonic before, so I decided to give it a try. I pulled into one of the carport and press the red button, and it took them two minutes to respond to my button press. After that I ordered my food which came to about $13. I have my dog in the car so I was trying to get food quickly, and it took them 15 minutes to get my food. When I did get it I had to get out of my car and meet the guy halfway through the parking lot, where he then rolled his eyes and discussed at me as I grab the food out of his hand. I don't know if he was expecting a tip for taking so long with my one order food, but I was very disappointed with how long it took and the terrible service. read more

Just went there to get step large drinks, when we got to the window the guy to busy talking and joking around with the people inside. When he gave us the drinks he gave us a small straw, when we asked him for a large straw he told us they didn't have any. We sat there and waited for someone to come back to the window we asked them for a large straw and they gave it us. I am very disappointed in Sonic that they would have employees that work for them that lie to your customers. I will never come back to this location ever again. This location does not deserve one star. read more

I give this sonic one star which is an insult to myself and my friend we sat in the drive in for over 20 minutes waiting for our food to arrive and when it did it was cold and disgusting... they didn't have change which took another 15 or so minutes to get and nobody brought condiments that we asked for when we ordered our food the employees were wandering around like they had no direction and I ended up getting sick from the food I will never come back to this location again!! read more

I normally love sonic but we went through the drive thru about 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was horrible and then we got thrown together food and the grilled cheese wasn't even grilled, maybe lightly, lightly toasted if that. VERY disappointing to wait that long and then have your food not be made well! There were not even that many other people in line and no one was parked either so I'm not sure why the long wait. Not to mention I got an email that they had Teen Titan toys in their wacky packs and my kid loves that show but he got some March Madness leftover toy!!! Seriously?! read more

What a terrible, terrible experience. First, I had to repeat my order like three time ( as if I'm not loud) ,than got told a wrong total. They acted kinda annoyed and just told me to pull up to the window( I should have sped away at this point) and they d have my total. I knew it should've been around ten dollars.. I handed the girl a twenty, and she gave me my receipt with a bunch of salt and ketchup. It was late.. I was just going through the motions, and when I got home, realized she never gave me my change back. I called and they seemed aloof on how to handle the situation( count back her drawer). The next day when I called back the manager wasn't in, then the next day called back.. He was suppose to call me back. Never did and that was a week ago. I totally understand making mistakes, but to become indignant to the mistakes is definitely not the best approach. Never got the change back from that twenty... This specific Sonic gets my orders wrong more often than right, and when you have food allergies like I do, you cant afford screwed up orders. Tonight, I ordered a peanut butter caramel shake with no graham crackers and cheese tots with a side of bbq. What did I get? Shake with graham crackers and chili cheese tots. If you're a regular person, this is ok. If your eyes swell shut when you eat gluten, this is completely unacceptable. And this has happened enough to me that I rarely go there, but some times I just want some cheese fries! Continued fails have made me swear off of them from now on. Im not willing to risk myself because others can't listen and deliver what I order. read more

I find it difficult to give them a 1 star rating because honestly it should be a 1/4 star rating. However yelp won't allow anything lower, hence the 1 star. We ordered 2 chili dogs, tater tots, cheese sticks and 1 slush. I am fully aware that sonic cooks the orders fresh. So I'm prepared to wait a bit. It took 20 minutes to get our food. The tater tots weren't even warm, nor was the cheese sticks. The car hop did not include condiments in the bag nor did she have change. So we waited another 10 minutes for our change, at this time it was a different car hop. She also didn't bring the marinara. We politely asked for it again. She went inside for a few more minutes gathered another person's order and delivered it to them. Then she brought the marinara. This place is awful, save yourself the hassle and go to the one off of 104th and Colorado. Every time I come here it's like this. I won't be returning. I have had problems with the store at (8711 Washington St Denver, Colorado 80229). I have gone at least seven times in the last month and they NEVER have onion rings. Today was the ultimate cop out though - at 6pm they decided to CLEAN THE FRYERS - really? During the dinner rush? I asked for a manager and was told management has no control over when the cooks decided to clean. There was a similar problem last year when the 1/2 price shakes promotion was going on - guess what they were out of EVERY SINGLE NIGHT?? You know a person can go anywhere for a burger, fries, corn dog, chicken strips, etc, but only you have the best onion rings - kind of defeats the purpose of going to Sonic, don't you think? read more

Not only did this clown put our ice cream sundaes in a cup holder box on their sides, but when we asked for him to please place them in a bag, he just shrugged, left our food on the counter and walked away. zero stars. Went in tonight at 10:00. Order placed by 10:02. After 15 minutes I swiped my credit card (twice) thinking this would prompt the payment or get the attention of someone. After twenty minutes I buzzed and asked them if my card went through. They asked what I wanted to order, as if it was my first time ordering. So I ordered again and asked if I had already been charged. Some guy said the carhop would be out shortly to talk with me. Now after seeing literally every customer around me come and go I asked a carhop to see if my card was charged, and if it hadn't been, I asked if he could cancel my order. After at least another five minutes he comes out to finally let me know it didn't Get charged and they canceled my order. So I asked for a manager. Ten more minutes passed and I finally walked into the store to again ask the same carhop for a manager and he barked back that he had already asked his manager to speak with me. I patiently waited in front of the sonic to wait until their coward excuse for a manager finally came out and explained "look man, there's only two of us and we're super busy" (lie, as I saw at least three people inside and one on break outside). I said, " I understand, but I've literally been waiting for over thirty minutes and I've ordered the same order twice now. I asked for a manager over ten minutes ago and no one bothered to come out and speak with me." He said, " look, I can get you your order for free but we're just busy." I explained that I didn't want anything for free, I just wanted the name and position title of the Asst. Manager (Matt) that didn't understand customer service and was too "busy" to deal with a customer complaint. When I told him that's all I wanted he said, "go ahead, call my GM, I don't give a shit, I'm leaving in a fuckin week anyway so fuck you!" Yep, that's Asst. Manager Matt for you. This particular Sonic location has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I have been there a grand total of three times and each visit was exceptionally horrible. My first time there, I was in the drive thru for FORTY FIVE MINUTES. I ordered a slush drink and when I finally got to the window after being in line for thirty minutes, I waited there for another fifteen minutes without so much as even being acknowledged by the male employee on the other side of the window. I finally gave up and left empty handed. The second time, I pulled into a carport and ordered a slush drink. I paid with a credit card and about fifteen minutes later a woman (carhop) finally brought it out. I realized later that night that they charged me THREE TIMES for my one item. The charges were reversed after I called and spoke to them but that does not excuse their wrong doing. Then tonight on my third visit there, I pulled up to the drive thru at about 12:30 am. After waiting about ten minutes I honked the horn and a male employee shouted "We're closed!" This was at 12:40 am and their posted hours state that they are open until 1:00 am. my wife and I was there and went threw the Drive threw the afternoon of Dec. Second. I made several attempt to order at the speaker drive up and the girl keep telling me she could not here me . then told me to drive forward to the window where I had to wait for several other cars. the car in front of me keep sending items back in drinks and packages. when I got to the window I had seen a item that had been put on a rack by the cashiers window. earlier right after the earlier attempt to make a order. The girl had a head set on but also had another thing that was playing music into here ear. she again ask me, what I wanted and then I was told they could not make me shakes. she then started taking another order and telling them she could not hear them . then another order that took some time I then had a young man who brought to the window a corn dog, and I told him that was not my order she then pointed out the package that we had seen put there a good ten minutes plus, and I said that would now be cold . she then told me what the cost of that item was.. I just drove off. and will not go back to this Sonic again that was the second time this has happen. use to have good luck there and good food.. but know no good. read more
