A new treat to me is a cream slush. They put soft serve ice cream in a slush. Yes it is as good as it sounds ! I got blue raspberry and it was so good!! For a fast food restaurant, this place checks all the boxes. The food is tasty, it comes out fresh and hot and the service is always consistently friendly. I typically order ahead in the app to score any discounts that they're offering. The plus is that the food is ready when I pull into one of the stalls within minutes of my arrival. Parking lot is always clean and brightly lit. However, the guy bringing our food was friendly and very quick with everything. He even offered an ice cream for our dog (we declined since we were in a hurry to get to our hotel/concert venue). Sonic is overall one of my favorite fast food chains to eat at so I was surprised to see a lot of negative reviews I ended up getting a cheeseburger and a cherry limeade drink. My mom ended up getting some chicken wings and onion rings which I also tried and she got a mango drink as well overall I have no complaints about the food whatsoever. Prices of course good for what you get which is standard for Sonic. A couple of things that I noticed that were different about this Sonic which are different from other Sonic locations I've been to were; Number one: they have a sign where you pull into the drive in where you park your car and the server comes out and brings you the food that they expect tips. I've never seen that anywhere before which was a little bit interesting I certainly don't like seeing that when I come to a fast food establishment number two: this is the only Sonic I've seen that has a seat in dining experience. Most of the sonics I've been to have the drive-in experience or a drive-thru. So this may be the reason for a number one being present parking is of course no issue. It's conveniently located and I didn't really have any of their troubles. If I was in the area again I would definitely come here read more

My first visit to a Sonic was, to say the least, interesting ... buckle up, kids, this is gonna be a fairly long review. For those of you who just want the executive summary, the food and service mostly exceeded my expectations, but the atmosphere was what I'd imagine visiting a carnival while tripping on acid would be like. For those of you who are wondering what I mean by that comparison, well, you'll just have to read on and let me 'splain. So, Sonic is fast food, but they give you three options for ordering: you can go inside and order at a counter; go through the drive-through; or park at an ordering kiosk, and a carhop on roller skates or Rollerblades will bring your food out. The parking lot is the epitome of chaos; seriously, they need ground traffic controllers, like the kind you see on aircraft carriers, wielding glow sticks. There are all kinds of lanes and arrows going on, and it's difficult to park in this cramped afterthought that they plopped onto an already-dizzying commercial strip that some people affectionately nickname "Bald Hell Road". I chose to go inside to order, and it was honestly the most awkward experience I have ever had ordering fast food. First off, the counter is very small. A couple with two small kids was ahead of me. They took up the whole counter, so that I couldn't tell that one of the two cashiers was waiting for me to step up. When I finally stepped up to order, I was in a very precarious position, having to dodge waiters and waitresses whizzing by on Rollerblades to my right, and squirmy kids to my left (their dad lassoed the boy by the hood of his coat). One of the waiters on skates tried to show off with a pirouette, but stumbled and nearly fell. Eventually, I got through the ordering process, and was handed a pedestal with my order number. I sat at the closest booth to wait and OWWWW! Big mistake!! I jarred my spine so much it hurt! I just assumed the booths were padded, so I plopped down, but they were hard, solid wood! Actually, the dining room was cold (literally and figuratively) and industrial looking. There were about a dozen booths and a few tables, but it was so sterile, it was uninviting (the bathroom was clean, though). As cold as the atmosphere was, though, the service was very friendly and attentive. They had a greeter to answer any questions, and a man who appeared to be a manager asked if I needed anything. The young man who brought my food out was polite and accommodating. I got the food to go, so I could bring it home to my wife (she was the one who started this whole thing - she got a craving for Sonic after watching an episode of the series, The Simple Life, in which Paris Hilton worked at a Sonic). She ordered a bacon cheeseburger on Texas toast, with a strawberry root beer. I got a double cheeseburger, with a frozen limeade. We also shared an Oreo Sonic Blast. The strawberry root beer was amazing, as was the Oreo Sonic Blast. Even my cheeseburger exceeded expectations. I was expecting something on par with a Wendy's double with cheese, but it tasted way better than Wendy's or McDonald's. It was even better than some Five Guys burgers I've had. My wife enjoyed her bacon cheeseburger also, although next time she'd probably order her burger on a bun instead of toast, because the toast was a bit soggy. The shoestring fries tasted fine, albeit, they were a bit soggy as well. My wife tried to get me to download the Sonic app on my phone, because you get some good deals, but I'm not as smartphone savvy as her. But even paying full price, the food was reasonably priced (about $23 total). Next time, though, I'll probably use the drive-through and skip the carnival inside. Perhaps the best part of this visit was that the drinks I put in the bed of my pickup truck as I drove home like an old lady (I wanted to keep the drinks cold, since I had the heater on full blast to keep the food warm) didn't tip over and spill. Sonic has always been a favorite of mine, so on my drive home from an appointment I stopped here. I couldn't believe that they still wore skates to bring out the food. That is by far my favorite part of the sonic experience. The food was also great. I got breakfast, a snack, and a delicious lemonade with chunks of fresh strawberries. It filled me up and the flavors were amazing. I did a regular drive up order, the girl was super sweet and my food came out fast and everything super hot (just how I like it). Was in the area for a dress fitting and had time to stop for a quick bite to eat and decided on Sonic. By far one of my favorite fast food chains, the variety is great and the prices are reasonable. We chose to place our order through the drive up kiosk. I've read through some of the other reviews and I have to say, the parking lot really was no issue for us to navigate through. The staff member who we initially placed our order with could have been more pleasant, but our food server was very friendly and attentive. Service was pretty quick, we waited no more than 15 mins between ordering and service. Everything was served hot upon arrival, which is especially appreciated and our server was very attentive to ensure that we had everything we needed. We had more than enough food for 3 people and our total came to just a little over $25! I've eaten at many Sonics before as it's one of my favorites because of the meat they choose to use on their burgers. I'm a southerner here working in RI and wanted something quick so I stopped in. Got a burger and it was the worst Sonic burger I've ever eaten as I travel for work frequently. The meat Patty taste like an already patted out cheap meat patty from Walmart or some place.Definitely wasn't the worth the $10 that I paid, in that case I could have went down the road to Five Guys. I was extremely impressed regarding the customer service here. I typically LOVE Sonic's cold drinks especially their signature beverage they call a "Cherry Lime Aid". I was doing some shopping along Route 2 in Warwick when I realized that they must have recently added a Sonic to Warwick- as I usually go to the Smithfield location! Woohoo! I was so excited - I pulled in and was SERVED immediately despite the place being EXTREMELY busy! All of the car hop bays were full and the drive through line was quite long as well. Right when I was about to be discouraged an extremely sweet and friendly Sonic team member walked to my car with my beverage & to my surprise I was in and out within 60 or so seconds! A young woman on roller skates brought it to us was very polite and helpful. I usually like this Sonic but my last visit was terrible. I went through the drive thru Saturday night around 10:30pm & ordered 4 ice cream cups. There were only 2 cars in front of us & we waited for about 15 minutes. When we finally got to the window the cashier took my money & then left the register area. She appeared to be confused & having issues with the register. When she came back she gave me my change in all $1 bills and quarters. The entire time our ice cream was sitting on the counter melting. When we pulled away we realized that 2 of the cups were made wrong. They were supposed to be vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce and they forgot the ice cream so I got 2 cups with just a small glob of peanut butter in them. I've never been to a Sonic before, so I get all excited that I see a new place, so I make an effort to try it. I got fast service at the drive thru, but the food was poorly made. I got onion rings that were as mushy as play doh and a gross soggy bland sandwich that looks and tastes like it's been thrown in the microwave. Absolutely disgusted with this place that heavily advertises its milkshakes. Ordered the oreo cheesecake mastershake and 1. There was a comically small amount of cookie pieces, which didn't include any cheesecake pieces and 2. What was there was all at the bottom of the cup, dry graham cracker crumbs fully dry and intact, meaning NOTHING was actually blended. I had to dump it out into another cup since I thought they only gave me vanilla ice cream.
