I have never thrown food away until today. $18 for Buffalo chicken fries. The plate was supposed to come with blue cheese or ranch. When it came out it had neither. I asked for the side of blue cheese which they replied they were all out. It would have been nice to know prior to purchasing. This was completely inedible. It was drenched in hot sauce like soup. I didn't want to waste the food so I tried wiping the sauce off with a napkin and dumping the liquid out. It didn't help at all and went straight into the trash. Wasted my money and had to buy edible food at another food truck.

Stop #7 on RI FOOD FIGHTS 11th Annual BIG Burger Blowout!!! they do offer a drive-through option. I decided to walk up to the counter table outside and find out what they're offering was... Two cheeseburger sliders and I also got a bowl of chili... Talk about a tasty, juicy & flavorful slider. They got it down....good chili too!

I recently moved to the area and kept wanting to check this place out. It's a cute little stop on a busy road. I finally gave them a try last night and I was disappointed. I ordered 2 honey hot chicken Sandos and a kids chicken nugget meal. 2 Oreo shakes and the strawberry shortcake. The milkshakes were great! After waiting almost 20 mins for our order, when we got home it was 2 orders of cheese fries with bacon in the bag. The staff was nice and apologized for the mix up. Once I picked up the correct order, the chicken sandwiches were good but not hot. The kids meal was with cold fries and the nuggets were practically burned. I will return for shakes but the food gets a big thumbs down for me.

Poutine fries with cheese curds... Low on the curds

I hate to bury a new business so I'm rounding up my 2.5 stars to three. Great concept... Hot fries with tasty toppings at a drive thru. Sure! I ordered the Poutine fries with brown gravy and curds. They were just okay. My thoughts are when you're dealing with just a couple ingredients make them GREAT and they lacked any oomph. The fries were crispy but under seasoned and your run of the mill frozen bag fries. The gravy was the jarred gravy variety. And the cheese curds... There weren't many. My suggestion... Doctor up the gravy. This working momma ain't no stranger to a jar of gravy but I add a few touches to make it mine. And maybe just toss those lil taters in some seasoned salt. And obviously make those curds the star. I should not have to dig for cheese curd treasure. Lastly, I think they have to come down on their prices. $8 is steep... Especially if you're slinging stuff out of a jar or freezer. Or improve the ingredients to justify it. They also have sliders and shakes but to get this shack on my regular rotation I'd need more than I got tonight. Worth a try if you don't mind spending the cash.

A fun little drive-thru spot that's able to pack a lot of great flavors into their food. I came here on my journey to find a milkshake in the Warwick area. Yelp didn't give me many options (deferring to a McDonald's near my house), but Axelrod's came up and, after driving by it a few times before, I decided to give it a shot. The shack makes up for it's small size by offering a bright aesthetic and short but robust menu. They have plenty of french fry options, and enough unique milkshakes to make one's final decision difficult (not that it's a bad thing to have to put thought into choosing a milkshake). I got the creamsicle for myself, and the fruity pebbles for my partner. And both were great! Super creamy and super thick, and a decent size for the price. The fruity pebbles was our favorite, because the creamy ice cream balanced nicely with the sweet, nostalgic taste and aroma of fruity pebbles. Have yet to try their fries but I won't wait too long. While I waited for my order, all I could smell was poutine. It smelled amazing! Can't wait to come back to this nice little shack.

YUMMMMMY Perfect pit stop after picking our son and nephew up from TF Green. I did a Yelp search for near by food and Axelrods came up. I wish we lived closer definitely would be stopping often. Especially on a hangover day.

I was thrilled to stop by and had a wonderful experience at the bar. I have a small appetite so I chose to have the side order of seafood fried rice and it did not disappoint. It was so absolutely delicious. The shrimp were plentiful and tender. The colorful variety of vegetables were fresh and the seasonings were incredible. So good... as I said, that I had to order another "side" to take home! I did spoil myself with some sticky toffee pudding of which I brought home leftovers as well. Owners Michael and Ailine were very thoughtful and said hello! I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly to an individual, couple or family. It's a pleasure to dine there !

Be warned, it's on the more expensive side for dining and may be a coin toss for "is it worth it" for those that enjoy a night out but also looking for value. Food was a mixed bag for us.... Starting with the smashburger was genuinely disappointing as the burger itself was dry and advertised as a "French onion" smashburger that failed to deliver any of the rich, savory flavor we expected with a name like "French onion smashburger". The hot honey Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful... The hot being more of a vinegary heat than I expected but the cream sauce was rich. Speaking of value earlier.... Smashburger was $20 and the Mac and cheese was $28. Entrees were $10-15 more it seemed but previous reviews all spoke highly of the entrees and would want to try them if we visit again. The overall service experience was disappointing for us. Not for the demeanor of the staff but everything else... We had a decent size group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) and was fortunate to have a dining room to help the kids burn some energy while not bothering the other diners. However, from ordering to entrees to arrive was 45 very hungry minutes. It also took 20+ mins just to get drinks. Once the food arrived, they also were short two of the kids meals which was thankfully corrected quick. We then were somewhat "gently" being asked to wrap things up by 3 staff members in 10 mins making the rounds to clear plates and any to go containers. We all understand the business in the food industry and turning tables, and trust me, after an hour from arriving to food on the table we wanted to get home for bed time. However, really sours the experience and would not advocate going here with large groups.... Between the kitchen and staff I can't say you'd have a guaranteed good time.

Very knowledgeable, told me about the Newport restaurants points app, fun ways to eat the dishes and gave the best description and inside scoop on all foods. Everything was seasoned well, and hot. Our only take away was if the porkchops had something with a different texture added to it. The bread pudding w the ice cream was fantastic as well, sweet gooey goodness. This is an accessible restaurant, with a ramp, automatic doors and handicap parking. It's a shared parking lot still, but there are signs indicating where you can or can't park. Low low music. Our server, Jenna, visited our table soon after we were seated and brought us water. We were waiting for other members of our party, and she never made us feel rushed or pressured. While waiting, we put in drink orders and the "Lavender Fields Forever" cocktail that I ordered (Rhodium Gin, lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, snap pea simple syrup) was so delicious, and garnished with a beautiful sprig of lavender flowers. We ordered two appetizers: Point Judith Calarmari and Corn Arepas. The calamari had too many tentacles and not enough rings for me, but the arepas were excellent. The cornmeal base was crispy and hot, and there was just the right amount of meat and toppings. For entrees, our group ordered the Chimichurri Grilled Chicken sandwich, The rigatoni with pink sauce and sausage with crispy chicken as an add on, the short ribs over mashed potatoes, the Wood-Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop, and the Rib Eye Steak. We all enjoyed our entrees. It is evident that Iron Works uses high quality ingredients and puts a great amount of care into the preparation fo their food. We split three desserts amongst the five of us: The flourless chocolate torte, the cheesecake, and the Banoffee Sundae. The flourless torte was rich and very chocolately, and the cheesecake was very good as well. I'm not a fan of bananas, so I didn;t try the Sundae, but the friend who ordered it enjoyed it. After dinner, we sat and chatted for awhile,, and we never felt rushed or pressured to leave. This was a very enjoyable evening in a great restaurant environment with delicious food.
