Recently we ordered a salad to go. Dressing on the side. The salad had so much lettuce that it was overpowering. Not much protein, not many other veggies besides the lettuce. The dressing did not get packed with the salad. Lackluster service and food quality. Shame.

everything about providence is cute even a cheesecake factory. i was just beat after a workday and i remembered how happy this used to make me in college. i don't have the metabolism for salt and oil the way i used to though lol. really enjoyed the mint mojito mocktail and want to get that again sometime soon, as well as the pickle fries. but for nostalgic sake i got the mac and cheese burger on a sourdough loaf without lettuce lol. and i ended up taking most of everything home and eating the next two days. server was accommodating and it was a pleasant random weeknight even though it was really busy for the summer.

Cheesecake Factory is blowing up right now on TikTok and it's no wonder why. After seeing it for the 50th time as I scroll I decided today was finally the day I'd go and I'm glad I did. Located in the Providence Place mall it's this Cheesecake Factory has a convenient location. I made a reservation for 5:30 and was sat immediately. Let me tell you- they were hopping by the time we left! The restaurant itself is spacious. However, I do find some of the seating to be too close to other parties. It almost felt like we should have joined the tables and had dinner together. Our server was Elijah and he was excellent. Very personable, understanding, and made a great experience. I would highly recommend asking for him! We had some of the delicious bread and butter before I ordered the pasta da Vinci for dinner. The pasta was cooked well, the sauce was ample and delicious, chicken nice and tender without any weird bits. I found the mushrooms to have a unique flavor I wasn't a huge fan of, but it didn't hinder me from finishing my dish. The portion was substantial for $26. Of course you have to get a cheesecake as well and we split the banana cream cheesecake. Elijah had it come out split in half for us (very nice of him!) and it was good. I was hoping for a bit more banana flavor instead of just topped bananas on top. But, it's still Cheesecake Factory so of course it's going to be good!

I must say for a chain restaurant the prices are becoming exorbitant here. I came here with my friend for her birthday. We shared a large caesar's salad, each of us had a soda, she had a dinner pasta dish and I had a lunch size pasta dish. She got a slice of chocolate cake to go. The bill came to $88 before tip. I'm sorry, but that is really ridiculous. In my opinion. They actually charged 14.45 for a slice of chocolate cake with chocolate sauce on the side! A lunch fettuccine alfredo for 18.85! Yes, the service was decent, and so is the atmosphere. We were also surprised that we had to wait twenty minutes to get a table at two o'clock in the afternoon on a weekday. Unfortunately, due to the high prices, I really can't recommend coming here. Although their cheesecake is very good. They need to be a little bit more realistic when it comes to pricing, because their prices have the skyrocketed in the last year.

Being the only one in the state it's a pretty popular spot! With that being said most the time it's very busy and that's a great thing but unfortunately the wait staff cannot always handle the business. We went on a Saturday and I hoped so much that the service would be quicker and unfortunately it wasn't. The waitress was super nice but I found myself having to get up and go find her or someone else to bring me things or refills on our drinks. The food itself is always around a 3-4 star. I love their Thai chicken lettuce wrap so much but I've been finding that the chicken strips themselves a lot of times have a very chewy tendon on them so biting through it is difficult and frustrating. Their Thai stir fry noodles are quite nice as well but they don't cook the noodles enough before stir frying so noodles end up being stuck together in big chunks and too al dente. Everything else we got were ok too and the Louisiana chicken pasta is also really good. I did also get the salmon but it was definitely a little too well done.

Came in and only waited a couple of munutes to be seated. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Ordered the avocado egg rolls, avocado toast and rice cakes with crabs as our appetizers. All came out hot and delicious. The avocado toast had creamy avocado with slices of avocado, arugula and tomatoes on it. The rice cake was nicely cooked where it wasn't too chewy. A good heap of citrus crab on top. The avocado egg rolls came nicely hot with pack of flavor. My grandma ordered the orange cauliflower with brown rice. It was good but a bit too sweet for her liking. I had the Korean fried chicken with white rice. It was delicious! I just wish it had more avocado and sauce to it. My sister ordered the truffle chicken and the flavor of it was too strong. She tried a bite and just couldn't. I also tried a bite and believe the truffle flavor was too much. Naturally truffle is strong but its not cut with anything to truly help balance it. The waitress took it back and my sister asked for the Thai noodles. About 15 minutes later, we were told that they ran out of the noodles. So she ended up opting for cheese flatbread pizza. She enjoyed it. Also the waitress offered the side ceasar salad as my sister waited for her pizza. Such a lot for a side and perfect amount of dressing. We truly appreciated the manager on duty coming out to explain how sorry they were.

Stopped by for my free birthday slice. I love cheesecake and the different flavors they have. My go to for dessert! Friendly service, easy to grab a slice and go!

Overrated. High prices for sub par food. I had the skinny crispy chicken sandwich. $19 for a sandwich and 'salad'. The 'salad' consisted of just green and a dressing that was disgusting! It just was the right location where I needed to be later that night. Next time, just grabbing the cheesecake!

Amazing service every time we come here, this time we had the pleasure of having Ashley as our wonderful waitress. She was patient with our kids and had our drinks and food out quickly, she was on top of it all! Good music and good vibes all around the restaurant. Delicious food and drinks, my cappuccino tasted like the ones I used to drink in Italy and it's the best one I've had in Rhode Island! Can't wait to come back! My husband and kids let me try their food and all amazing dishes and I didn't have room to finish my French toast! Bring your family or yourself and have some delicious food and amazing service!

Great drinks, great cheesecake, great staff, good vibes all around. One of the biggest perks is that it's open every day as opposed to many other Providence restaurants which are closed many days of the week. They have restaurant seating, and the menu serves almost anything you'd want. And then they also have a little high top seating area near the bar which is self-seating! My friends and I came here after dinner for some drinks and dessert and it was just lovely. We ordered some cheesecakes to share which are always so rich and delicious. The menu is also with every single type of cheesecake you would like. Some favorite cheesecakes include: oreo dream, triple berry, classic with strawberry. Parking: some street parking available, but best to park in the Providence Place mall garage, free parking for 2hours :)

Sammy was a great waitress, very attentive to us at the table. she was not pushy. She was very polite. The food was delicious. Enjoyed every bite and the bread that they gave us was warm and delicious.

Chef Ben Sukle has received many accolades including being a James Beard Finalist so I knew we were in for a treat. Everything we ordered was so fresh, had a farm-to-table vibe, and felt very intentional. 3 different dishes had 3 different types of olive oil - that's impressive! I was blown away by the Red Shrimp Quasi Crudo. They were slightly sweet, perfectly cooked with a delicate snap, and I still got some of the roasted/grilled flavor. The Raw Scallops were so simple yet so exquisite. This is a must order along with anything on their crudo menu! The Carrot & Mascarpone Anolini was such a unique pasta and was perfectly balanced and delicious. And definitely leave room for dessert because you can't leave here without trying the Wood-Roasted Basque-Style Cheesecake. It's so creamy, borderline custardy, with a beautiful char on top and the delicate blueberries and olive oil that paired so well together. They are really using their wood-fire oven to the max and I'm here for it. What an exceptional meal; highly recommend.

My pieces were tasty but a bit fatty (hard to chew). I had the eggplant ravioli which was very rich and tasty ($28) - but so heavily sauced it was hard to tell what was what. The less good parts: the cheap wood chairs are too uncomfortable to sit on very long (I moved to the banquette next to my partner). The food is overpriced. It really needed something with it - bread, potatoes, vegetables, anything. The pork came with a few bitter leaves of a salad. I have a small appetite in general - I usually take home half my food anywhere I go. I looked at the food and said "we are going to have to go to IHOP later" because it was a light snack. The only bread available cost $12. Maybe it's amazing but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $12 for bread on principle. The food took awhile to arrive. Long enough for the server to tell us she was leaving for the night and to get up and order two drinks directly from the bar myself. The servers were nice in a way that felt somewhat forced. We are finding someplace else for dessert. I really liked my espresso martini, and that was within the price range I would expect ($13).

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

If I'm not mistaken, Friday and Saturday nights definitely have more of a club vibe after a certain time, but during the week, I've also gone before, and it's very low-lit, romantic, and honestly perfect for any occasion, especially with the type of drinks they have! Parking can be a little difficult because it's downtown, but you can always try to get street parking with a little walk. I honestly find parking down the street, and it's not that hard. There's also parking you can pay for right on the corners, so there are different ways of finding a place to park. Taking an Uber would be a great idea as well, so you don't have to deal with anything and can drink as much as you want. They do not have valet. Service: The service has always been super friendly and very accommodating. Honestly, all the times that I've gone, they've been very helpful with helping us get seats and just giving us a great experience, even with how busy it gets. This is definitely a spot that I not only recommend to everyone, but it's somewhere that I will continue to go because it's genuinely one of my favorites!

Came here for brunch. Love the vibe and interior plus exterior decor. We sat inside because we…read morewanted to look at the decorations. Rock music played not too loudly in the background as we were served and as we looked at the menu. The menu is digital. I hate this. Maybe they had a physical menu, but we didn't ask. We grumbled amongst ourselves and scanned the QR code and used our phones. It might seem like a small thing, but I really, really hate using my own phone to look at a restaurant's menu while at sitting at the restaurant. Anyways, I digress. For drinks, we got the chai latte (with oat milk) and coffee. We ordered the Special Eggs Benedict (half portion, for one person) and the shakshuska. The coffee was good. I appreciate the attentiveness of our server and that they came to refill the coffee. I really like the chai latte and glad that they listed which one it is (Rishi Masala Chai). The egg benedict has a really thick homemade bacon. It is soft and falls apart readily, but was a tad too salty. The bread was a bit tough and too thick for our liking (maybe we should have read the description more carefully oops, because when they say thick they meant thick). The fries were tasty. There was just one egg for a $26 benedict. The shakshuka was my first time trying shakshuka! To me, it tastes pretty similar to chili. I really enjoyed its tangy tomato and spicy flavors. There were two eggs in it. Honestly, I think it would be better with like four eggs. Now, the garlic bread: the garlic bread was so good, so garlicky. The garlic bread was both of our favorite. Overall, good vibes and good food and good customer service.
