One of my favorite spots to visit with friends. The smash burger and sweet potatoe fries are AMAZING. Hint: ask for one of the chicken wing sauces (habanero) and dip the fries in that... perfect. I haven't eaten one thing I haven't enjoyed and the staff is always hella nice. Definitely going to continue going back. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Strongly recommend! Tavern 12. Where the drinks are always flowing. The food is REAL and absolutely DELICIOUS, and the company/atmosphere is even better! My friends and I took a trip to Tavern 12 on a Wednesday night for dinner and we were for sure NOT disappointed. We ordered some appetizers (eggplant Neapolitan, buffalo chicken eggrolls, NACHOS WITH CHILI, and sliders). Oh my gosh. It was hot! It was fresh! It was delicious!!! The owner, Matt even walked around the restaurant checking in with tables to see if we needed anything but our waitress was so amazing, that we were fully stocked. Not your ordinary bar and grill. The food is way better than expected! We ordered a bunch of apps. The eggplant napoleon were cute and perfect. Juicy chicken sandwich sliders. They cut and serve the Reuben eggrolls diagonally so you don't burn your mouth with grease when you first bite into them. Thoughtful presentation! And delicious. Waitresses came by to check in. We felt taken care of. They had some great beer options on tap, and we found out the owner/chef - very friendly, humble guy - used to be Robert Downey Jr.'s personal chef!!! Definitely has the vibe of a neighborhood hang-out with a lot of regulars. However there were no negative vibes toward an outsider- me on business from PA. Had the kielbasa roll with grilled onions and peppers, on special and a great value at $13. It came with fries and went well with a couple of cold ones. We had a really good time at the bar at Tavern 12. It's really a sports bar (tons of TV's). Super friendly, beautiful bartenders who made a killer drink -- my partner had a marguarita (he doesn't like sour mix -- really who does?) but the bartender made it without mix and it was just the way he likes it. Best marguarita ever according to my partner. I had a good drink too and then we had some appetizers. All home made! That's so unusual these days. We had potato skins (not greasy, cooked perfectly) and stuffies (home made as well). Delicious. Friendly. Inexpensive. Good Drinks. That's quite a combo. Enjoy. read more

Service and friendliness of staff gets 5 stars. Overall, more of a place to watch the game and get burgers and apps than a true sit down bar and grille. Steak wrap was excellent. Wings and chili need a little improvement. The beer selection was excellent and plenty of big screens, booths and seats at the bar. Overall nice experience, service was great everyone was pleasant and attentive. My husband had the Cuban special, I had the California Chicken sandwich and my daughter had chicken tenders overall very good food, the only reason not giving 5 starts are the fries. The fries were pretty bad , aside from being obviously frozen they tasted like they had been fried in some very old oil. we did get regular fries and sweet potatoes fries both tasted the same. As a long time resident of Warwick, I have been coming here for many years. The staff is top notch! Stephanie, Dakota, Jarrah, Michelle, Tora and many others over the years have been great bartenders and servers to me and whatever group of friends I have visited with. The reviews and menu sounded good and they were less than 10 minutes from home so my husband and I were excited to try here. We walked in on a Saturday at 5pm and saw the seat yourself sign. So we sat down (only customers at a table, everyone else was at the bar). There were multiple staff but nobody acknowledged us or came over to our table. About 10 minutes went by without so much as a glance, so we ended up just leaving and going somewhere else. There was also a lady with a dog at the bar, like on her lap or on a barstool, and the dog barked at someone aggressively. Didn't seem like a service dog, and not the cleanest for a restaurant/bar. Also their margaritas are made with sour mix and Tito's, top shelf vodka here is Smirnoff. Unfortunately we won't be back. read more

They have a limited menu. Salads, chicken fingers, burgers, nachos, and wraps. Usual sports pub fair. The nachos were underwhelming. Lots of chips and lettuce, some cheese, accompanied by a few tablespoons of salsa and sour cream. We asked for the jalapeños on the side, and we didn't get any. The entire plate was sprinkled with a red, salty seasoning. I ordered a cheese burger, mayo on the side and tater tots. The burger arrived without cheese, no mayo, and the tots were over salted to the extreme. It may have been the red stuff they put on the nachos. The fish and chips were ok. A little greasy. Fish and chips and mac and cheese are the only dinner offerings. They do offer a vegan burger. It was probably a good place to grab a beer and catch a game, but the food was not good. read more

My friend and I planned to meet elsewhere, but he suggested somewhere closer to my workplace after learning I'd have to drive an hour to meet him there.  I settled on Warwick, RI as it was a halfway point for both of us, then searched Yelp.   The reviews for Tavern 21, along with their pub-type menu and having Blue Moon on tap sealed the deal. We arrived at 530 on a Thursday night within a few minutes of each other.  I grabbed a booth against the wall. The booths were raised slightly above floor level, and there was a ridge about six inches from the bottom where I could literally rest my heels. Nice touch.   A server arrived quickly and took my drink order, despite being in the middle of the dinner rush. Most patrons were seated around the bar, but there were a few sitting at the high tops or in the booths like I was.  Another thing I noticed right away was how clean the bathrooms were.   A few minutes later, I ordered an appetizer while I waited for my friend. Two giant, soft and chewy pretzels arrived with a side of honey mustard. They were too hot to touch and I had to let them cool for a few minutes so I could eat them, but they stayed warm.  A refreshing change from the hard, dry, variety you find in department stores and at stadiums. None of that garbage here.   My friend ordered the meatloaf sandwich and a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw seemed homemade, with small square pieces of, instead of the razor-thin strips that most places serve. I don't usually eat slaw myself (not even sure what all its ingredients are) but it looked good. He enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich as well.   I ordered Mango-Habanero wings, after our server said it was the hottest sauce they had. The sweetness of the mango offsets the heat of the habanero for a perfect balance. The wings left my lips tingling, but it wasn't an overwhelming heat.   As the evening wore on, the crowd thinned out, but our server checked on us regularly and cheerfully offered to refill our drinks whenever she passed by.     My friend wanted dessert, and was surprised when the server replied they don't really offer desserts. She added that they were on the menu previously, but didn't really sell. The closest thing to dessert was a plate of deep-fried Oreos, which he ordered and devoured.     Great food, great service in a pleasant, clean, and friendly atmosphere. read more
