When I said what I was looking for, I was taken straight the absinthe. I don't think i would have found it on my own. This is a pretty small store that doesn't seem to have the largest selection. The absinthe was only available in one size - it will probably last me the rest of my life. This sounds terrible, but I rarely leave the ABC with just what I went in for. I found a few other things to try. Even though the prices were clearly marked on the shelved, I still had sticker shock - the Alabama sin tax annoys the heck out of me. Check out was pleasant - we had a little chat about various drinks and then I was on my way. I still haven't made my Sazerac.

This has been going on for around 8 months at this point. Ive pointed out the discrepancy and every time the response is "oh we just haven't had time to change it". After 8 months thats hard to believe. I think they are doing it on purpose. If you look at the prices the lower price is what you see and only if you check your receipt do you realize thats not what they charged you. Ive probably overpaid over 100$ all together before I realized. It's such a simple thing but they can't or won't follow the law/consumer protection act.

They offer all the classic spirits, mixers, beers, wines, supplies and more...including a great selection of THC based drinks. The store is well laid out, organized, clean and well kept...plus stocked! Service was friendly from entry to exit. The gentleman at the counter expressed regret, and informed me that Corinth no longer had a good humidor. I told him I was visiting from out of town. He then went to his truck, retrieved a cigar, and presented it as a gift. His hospitality left me in awe. Another time, I went in shopping for bourbon, and made an off-handed comment about my opinion of a particular distillery's single barrel edition. The same gentleman behind the counter began to dazzle me with his knowledge of whiskey production and its impact on taste.
