False Advertisement…read more I paid $456 for a package advertised as including two professional cleanings, but what I received was completely misleading and honestly infuriating. At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

I experience moderate discomfort during routine dental visits, and his team always goes above and beyond to ensure that I'm comfortable throughout my visit. My former dentist would fault me for this: "you dont floss enough or brush thoroughly..etc" was their reason for my consistent discomfort. At this clinic, I experience none of that. You're uncomfortable? Okay we'll numb you- no more pain and leaving in a bad mood after treatment. I am always greeted very kindly by the girls up front and my hygienist. Hearing everyone talk and laugh frequently with Dr. Mercado goes to show that it's a healthy work environment and enjoyable place to work. Dr. Boyte has a rare skill; the capacity to share and convey incredibly dense, yet understandable, 'data' about what is going on in my mouth. Dr. Boyte speaks in specific, precisely worded, perfectly structured, terms, always assuring the pace of delivery is synchronized with my pace of absorption. One notices and appreciates the precision and tone conveyed by healthcare providers who are graced with rare communication skills; it conveys an assuring depth of knowledge. After the assessment, we share thoughts on strategies for maintenance (or treatment as the case may demand), and agree on the care that will be provided. Experience only enhances natural talent, so as a patient I appreciate being on the receiving side of Dr. Boyte's practice. Always top notch, but now after 20 years+, the continuity of two decades of care from a rare talent is an undisclosed benefit that is gratefully appreciated. Perhaps what is equally impressive is that "all" that usually follows the informal chat about kids, travel, activities, a current event or two, while recalling personal details shared incidentally at one of my previous appointments. I just don't understand, I made an appointment, which means I committed to that appointment.
