Highly Recommended! I have never left a review for a dentist previously, but I feel compelled to do it now. Over the course of my life, and multiple relocations, I have used the services of 12-15 different dentists and staff. Most of the dentists were good and their staff were good enough. My previous dentist was the best, but he retired. I then began the search for someone just as good with a combination of skill and customer service. The process was neither easy nor quick. However, through the recommendation of a friend, I found Dr. Kayee Siu and couldn't be more pleased. She has an excellent staff beginning with her front desk staff, who are also cross-trained to do everything in the back. Dr. Siu, herself, couldn't be better. She is patient, kind, very thorough and her attention to detail, is the best I've seen. Since she is considerably younger than me, I should never have to search for another dentist. read more

Everything was fine the first time. It was great. I was told what I wanted to hear and the woman that cleaned my teeth was awesome. The next time there was a lot of pressure to pre-pay for upcoming services. I was having a deep cleaning and it had been my understanding that it was going to proceed in a reasonable fashion. The hygienist was professional, if impatient. She was also extremely rough, She kept putting her arm on my hair which I had put up to keep it out of the way and pulling it and then getting upset with me because I was moving. The tube they put in your mouth to suck up the spit was being yanked so hard in the corner of my mouth that I felt like a horse with a bit. I do not know if she was yanking on that by resting her arm on both my hair as well as the tubing. When it wasn't hooked in my mouth and being yanked it was being held over my face and spit was dripping back down on to my face. Then it felt like they wouldn't let me leave. I was done. Is professional yet hostile a thing. Never mind it's a rhetorical question as my discomfort was not acknowledged. read more

Worst experiences with the administrative staff. They had moved my appointment to a different day without notice, booked the appointment on the wrong date for a procedure because of their error of a "typo" while I went through all the stress towards year-end to switch shifts with my coworker during pandemic at a busy hospital, billed a balance for a future procedure and stated in the letter " they made several attempts to collect a bill and now it will be sent to collections." Because I can not "stay calm", then Bridgett hung up the phone. Please tell me how much more ridiculous it can be! I trust Dr Siu and the medical staff's clinical judgment, but I do not wish to proceed with any future appointments because these "errors" are too costly and unacceptable!!! read more

We were scheduled on Feb 1to have an appointment for two of us on Aug 3. We got a reminder message a week before appointment but only named one of the party. So I wrote back both parties' name on my reply e-mail and said yes. They called me we only have one slot and canceled the other one's because of short staff. Scheduled six months ago and got cancelled. Okay, I accepted coz things may happen. They promised me to put us in the first priority when they see someone cancel appointment. I have reminder them not to ask us in a rush because we need to get approval for time off. They said will give us about a week beforehand. We were waiting until yesterday Aug 15 (18 days later) got another message at 4:37 asking us to fill out an empty slot on Aug 17. By the time we saw the message, we all left office. So the next day morning on Aug 16, I replied to them we can come over and we applied time off. They replied the slot has been filled and put us back to the call list. In less than 24 hours and given to someone else, really? They told me there was another patient responsed first then they gave to them. It looks like a first come first serve rule. Are we driving and waiting in a "stop sign"? Ladies, for a better customer service you need to do it one by one and not spread it out to everyone at the same time. 1st schedule on 8/3 we canceled our time off, and today we canceled it again for tomorrow. Came here on the recommendation of my girlfriend. I should preface that I absolutely hate "the dentist". When I say that, it's nothing personal, I've just always had terrible experiences (getting shot up with needles in your gums and having your teeth ground down with an air dremel isn't my idea of a good time). Anyhow...Kayee and her team are fantastic at making what's normally a miserable experience as great as it could possibly be. Her chair side manner is exceptional and her team is all super friendly. OK, SO.......... I hadn't been to any dentist office in a long time. I wrote 5+ years on the form, but it may have been closer to 10 (I truly didn't know). In any case, they're ALL SO NICE! They tried to comfort me by saying that lots of other people go several years without dental care. Everyone in the office is friendly, thoughtful, and on top of it. When ROSE helped me schedule that initial appointment, she was extremely helpful and sweet. When DR. SIU told me how many cavities I had (approximately one for each year I didn't go to the dentist, LOL), she was very nice and very upfront about what the x-rays showed. Fast forward... Five minutes! As I was approached the front desk, I was told that they just received a cancellation email and that I could do the left side of my mouth right then. Well, that took care of half of them. Then I was able to schedule an appointment for three days later (they're usually booked weeks in advance, but someone else had cancelled) for the right side of my mouth. That was today. I AM A TOTAL WIMP! I told them that I'm scared of needles and therefore would like to not see them. I also told them that I would like extra of all of the numbing stuff, whatever they were going to be using. So, during both of the lengthy filling sessions, I got double numbing doses and was told to close my eyes whenever something 'scary' was going to be visible. They ALSO provided me with a neck pillow and headphones so I could listen to music instead of the drilling. I heard a bunch of background noise behind my tunes, but I didn't really feel anything either time. It was AWESOME. And now I'm all set! I'm going to floss from now on... One review on here says something like DR. SIU is the only dentist in the world who calls each patient that she does a procedure or a treatment with. Well, I guess that person is right! She called me after each appointment, once a day after and the other time about seven hours after. There is NO WAY that anyone else does that! I've been going to the same dentist my whole life (25 plus years ;)) and was sad when I found out they didn't take any of my insurance options from my job. Because of that, I put off going to the dentist for a LONG time...until I found yelp reviews on Dr. Siu! I just got back from getting a couple fillings and I'm so happy to have found her office. I get anxiety sometimes from feeling claustrophobic and of course I had to have an attack right before the procedure! This was my dentist for about a year, with no previous issues. I had an appointment in December. First one of the patients left their dog unrestrained and unattended in the parking lot. I informed the office staff of my fear of dogs due to a past incident where I was attacked by a dog. I was informed the patient was getting his teeth cleaned therefore could not secure his dog. So basically, I had to take my chances. When I came into the office, I was informed I was scheduled for a crown replacement instead of the cleaning I was previously scheduled for. Apparently when I canceled and rescheduled my cleaning the office decided to schedule me for the crown instead and not inform me of the change. In fact, when I stated I rescheduled for a cleaning a staff member glared at me and rudely told me when I canceled and rescheduled the prior appointment I did not state I wanted to reschedule for the same procedure I was canceling. I thought this would be assumed as a given since I stated I wanted to cancel and reschedule my appointment. I have canceled and rescheduled appoints with other dentist and doctors and have always been rescheduled for the same procedure. When I stated I was not informed I would be rescheduled for a different procedure, the staff member stated you discussed the crown replacement with the dentist. I said yes however I did not agree to have it done at this time. (The crown is only a couple of years old and therefore does not immediately need to be changed.) The staff member then sat in her chair and turned her back to me. Another staff member then stated she sent me an e-mail with an estimate for the crown, I informed I didn't receive an e-mail. She then printed out an estimate for me to sign. Which was $495 compared to $0.00 for the cleaning. I was also informed the hygienist was booked until April therefore I could not get my teeth cleaned this day. One of the staff members started to make an appointment for April however I decided not to make the appointment as I thought it would be best to find another dentist as I was made to feel like I should have known the procedure was changed. The staffs behavior and the whole thing was the dog was off-putting. I would be uncomfortable coming into that office again especially after the one staff member glared and raised her voice at me while I had to stand there and not be rude back to her. read more

I've been dreading going back to the dentist because of my past bad experiences. Most doctors never really take the time to ask you, what you want or care to hear about your concerns and issues. I have finally found Dr. Siu. Her and the staff are all delightful and excellent. I told her my goals and what I am looking for. She helped me to begin achieving my goals right away. I saw Dr. Siu a few months ago; I was scheduled for a filling. Throughout the whole process, I felt comfortable and cared for. The front desk staff (Rose) was very helpful and I don't remember who the assistant was to Dr. Siu that day but she was also very helpful and friendly. I had been having issues with sensitivity on my left side and not even a week after this visit did I begin feeling much better. I went to this clinic today to see a "specialist" Siu invited for my tooth issues. To my surprise, I was asked to pay $175 fee for the visit when I left. This is ridiculous. I have seen more than 20 dentists in the past. I have never seen such a high "visit" fee. If I was told that the "visit" fee was so high, I would have cancelled the appointment. This clinic is cheating! Do not come to this clinic! Besides, the so-called specialist charges more than 3 times than other specialists for the same service. "HER SHOTS DON'T HURT!!" I just had another great visit to Dr. Siu's office. From the staff up front, Rose scheduling the appointments, to the hygenist, Claudia who cleaned my teeth, to the the Dental Assistant, Cindy and Dr. Siu who did my Crown replacement today. Dr. Siu noticed some decay under the existing crown last time I was here. She recommended I get it taken care of before real problems came for that area of my mouth. I got a couple shots for the area she was working on. I didn't even feel the shots! The staff is really great. I can tell they are concerned about how I am doing throughout the work being done. Dr. Siu and her staff are amazing! They always take good care of me, and the cleanings and crown replacements I've had have been painless. In fact, if my insurance would cover it, I'd get a cleaning done every month. They're also very patient with my 2 boys who are 10 and 4 years old and both ask A LOT of questions. The boys know there's nothing to fear when it's time to sit in the reclining chair and they loving getting their bag of treats at the end--a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste & a sticker! Today Dr. Siu and Kaylynn went beyond their job description for us! My 4 year old was talking to Dr. Sui about the splinters he got on his hand yesterday. He was showing them to her and saying that I was only able to get one of them out. While waiting for my mouth to get numb, she and Kaylynn took care of his hand for me! We chose this practice based on location and insurance, but we have lucked into finding the absolute perfect fit for our family. Dr. Siu and her entire team are kind, professional, and skilled. Where they really amazed me though was in the care they offered my two young daughters. It is so important children have good early dental experiences to establish positive adult habits, and the entire team goes out of their way to make sure they feel safe and comfortable every time we are there. My five year old had to get a filling and they managed to turn it into a fun and positive memory. I ended up having to do a 5 hour surgery and decided on the dental sedation. Coming from someone who is TERRIFIED of dental procedures I have to tell you sedation was AMAZING. I recommend this dentist to everyone. I am a very fearful patient and she offers oral sedation and nitrous oxide gas two people that are fearful like me. ...i apologize in advance because i am probably the one apple to spoil the bunch with so many five star reviews... a while back my gf went to get a root canal... her regular dentist was in socal & at the time we did not have insurance... we used yelp & came across dr siu... we thought she seemed like an excellent dentist from the reviews & we could also get some sort of reasonable pricing... i wasnt looking to get a super cheap hometown discount but i know we were going to spit out a pretty good amount even at a reduced price... with some of the other dentists i called in the area the price that they gave after the discount seemed relatively the same with the other dentists so it almost did not feel like a discount... i did not want to be the one to bite the hand that feeds you but i felt 'hey if you pay a lot were going to get a lot' especially if your able to pay up front in one shot... the whole appt lasted maybe two hours if i recall (it was expected)... when the procedure was done my gf informed me that dr siu might have aggravated a tooth that was not initially causing her pain... so what happened according to my gf was that she started to tap the lower tooth with one of her instruments but the tooth that was giving her problems was on the upper gum... we were wondering why she did not begin the procedure on the upper tooth that was causing her pain instead of messing around by tapping on the lower tooth before she started the root canal... i mean idk... its like if you got a fire on the second floor of a house but instead of extinguishing the fire upstairs you decide that its a good idea to nip troubles in the bud & move the flammable household chemicals that are under the sink away from the stove that somebody forgot to turn off... the experience was three stars... the whole staff was very nice and accommodating to our dilemma... however im not trying to bash her but maybe were not seeing something or maybe thats what dr siu was trained to do idk but there must be some sort of reasoning to do what she did so i give dr siu the benefit of the doubt... even after my gf had her appt with dr siu she still feels some discomfort after her visit (which was in the fall) from the upper tooth that she worked on... the lower tooth that dr siu was tapping on earlier which my gf did not feel any discomfort prior to her visit is now gone... she had to get the tooth pulled just a couple of weeks ago... so some advice for those that are looking for a dentist is that there is always a risk to everything that we do/not do so do your research on dentists in the area (to minimize that risk in your own mind) & explore your options as to what you can & cant do before moving forward... read more

I was referred to Doctor Siu by family friends since she takes cash patients for those without insurance and gives a very generous discount. Her office is very clean, bubbly friendly staff, equipment are brand new and very clean. Doctor Siu is really nice and makes you feel completely comfortable and well taken care of under her hands.
