The drinks are great and reasonably priced, with an awesome happy hour that makes it easy to start the night right. I'm obsessed with their hibiscus margarita (on tap!) and the French 75. Perfect little gem near downtown.

It's got charm, character, and zero pretension. The service is always friendly, but never fake -- no forced small talk or over-the-top energy, just genuinely cool people who seem to enjoy what they do. It makes the whole experience feel laid-back and easy, like you're part of the regular crowd even if it's your first time. The rotating cocktail menu always has something fun to try, but the real star of the show is their Bloody Mary -- absolutely legendary. Bold, flavorful, and consistently on point. They've also got a patio, which is a great spot to hang when the weather's decent. The location is super convenient, especially if you're heading to or from a show at the Slowdown. Whether you're just stopping in for a drink or planning to linger, Trap Room nails that cozy, quirky neighborhood bar energy.

This was so good! Great place to come downtown and get some tasty tacos and strong margaritas. The…read morechips and salsa trio was great. Fresh crunchy chips with unique salsas. The house margarita and strawberry margarita were top notch. They were sweet and strong!! The 3 taco special is a great deal. The brisket tacos were awesome, and the chipotle aioli really complimented them. The rice was cooked great and the beans were tasty too. Our server was super friendly, and we were given a table with no wait time. This place was really pretty and is in a good location, next to hotels and other spots.

Overwhelmingly average. This is a nice feeling restaurant, clean and has a modern feel to it but…read morebetween small portions, high prices and underwhelming flavors it felt like we were paying more for the *environment* than the food. You can get better, more authentic food at literally any taco truck in South Omaha at less than half the price per taco. This just didn't feel worth the money and we ended up going across the street for dumplings immediately following dinner because *nobody finished anything*. Nothing really stood out as special, which is disappointing considering each individual taco you order is $5-6. - shrimp and bacon: well seasoned and that aioli really complemented the shrimp. Not impressed that it only had 3 shrimp on it and I'm not sure if bacon was added. - Mushroom: ... this one was everybody's least favorite. It was DRY and tasted like smoke. Nothing was added to give it some moisture and it felt like an attempt to make a mushroom taste like meat but it didn't go well. - carnitas and chicken: both of these fall into the same category of nothing to write home about but meet what you'd expect. - Brisket: this one was the best of the day, hands down. I wouldn't say it saved the evening but it was the best meat on the menu. Only note was it made the single tortilla really wet so as soon as I picked it up the tortilla ripped in half. Not complaining about it though as it was the only thing that felt worth the money. - seared tuna: also shockingly dry?? It's barely cooked, how is it dry?? Bland. - El Jefe (rice bowl): once again brisket saved the day but the rice was soggy and I just wasn't impressed especially at the price point. - esquites: not up to par with elote or other esquites I've had... this was the start of our dinner and it was on the bottom with the mushroom taco. The portion size was also incredibly small. We ordered 3 for the table and none returned to the kitchen empty. Our waitress was plenty friendly and prompt- we DID enjoy the service. Ultimately though, we all feel like we wasted our money here.
