The seating is small and there's only 2 bathroom stalls for the women. I'm not sure about the men's stalls. They do have a war memorial upon entering the ballpark in memory of the fallen soldiers who've played ball in the local area.

One important thing to note is that you have to schedule your throwing time beforehand on their website. At the time, they supposedly did not accept walk-ins, but I do not know if that has or will change. Also, closed-toe shoes are required, so leave the sandals at home! The building itself is pretty basic and not a lot of decorating flare (which is fine, because I am here to throw axes). When you arrive, you have to sign the waiver, you have an opportunity to buy food, drink,etc and then you wait for your time to come. Once it is your scheduled time, you are taken back to your lane, giving a demo and overview of the various games and operating rules. After that, you are on your own but our guide was nearby most of the night if we had questions. He was able to answer questions and take food/drink orders. For the menu, they had popcorn and other small snack menu and a selection of canned beers, seltzers, and ciders. Prices were reasonable for the items my wife and I purchased. For the axe-throwing itself, you can reserve by the hour or lane. One hour is $20 per person or $35 for two hours (6 people per lane, includes training prior to starting). You can also rent two lanes for an hour for $200 (up to 12 people) or two hours for $350. There are a variety of games, including a traditional target, a Connect 4 style game, 21, a matching game, and more! Players are given clever names such as "Pain in the Axe" and "Axe Hole". You can also choose to use an axe or throwing star for additional fun or challenge. It's actually a bit more tiring than it seems. The atmosphere was very welcoming and there were plenty of bathrooms and they were clean and had all supplies stocked. Staff was friendly and helpfulWhen we were done, we were taking selfies near the entrance (there is a backdrop and props), and the hostess offered to take our picture. We both had fun and are looking at going back with the kids.

I found Net Par to be a super fun activity that shows that there is so much more to love in the Capitol District. Net Par is very upscale in terms of design and layout - I could see it being a nice place to host an event with friends or family. They don't offer food, but you're allowed to order in from outside establishments or bring your own little snacks for your event or activity there. The golf simulator had something for everyone, like actual courses from around the world for the serious golfer, ones where you can just compete with your teammates to see who can hit the farthest, and fun games similar to Candy Crush that even kids would enjoy. You don't need to be an amazing golfer to enjoy Net Par. I definitely recommend it for your next date night, group hang out, or just to go play by yourself!

The wedding coordinator who was there at the beginning was also pretty nice. I would not recommend this place for nothing. This park is full of a huge variety of mature trees, which makes for good birdwatching and bug watching, slime mold watching, etc. There is also a playground here, a pavilion, a dog park, a frisbee golf course, and a lagoon. I think the children's pool and tennis center are still here as well, on the south edge of the park. There is a big greenhouse here for growing plants for the city parks but unfortunately it was severely damaged during an intense hail storm this summer. The park is fairly clean though some trash was piled up next to the trash cans since obviously they had not been emptied. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. A lot of Canada geese are sometimes by the lagoon, so if you're afraid of them, don't go over there. No worries! They are little hissing dinosaurs.

I walked around for about 30 minutes, stopped to pick things up and look at them, and stood around the counter for a few minutes.... And no one said a word to me. They didn't even acknowledge my existence. It seemed as if they were too interested in their "regulars" and had no time for me. And there was only two other people in the store other than me. The range seemed pretty good and there was a couple people on the range. Their inventory seemed pretty good as well. They seemed like nice people... maybe they just had an off day..? Great place to walk in the summer due to plentiful shade and my dogs loved to cool off in the stream. One of the busier parks in the area, used for graduation photos and group picnics on a regular basis. Over the years we've seen ducks, woodchucks, a huge snapping turtle, owls and a fox while walking here. And if you want a longer walk, Blackhawk Park is part of the Daniell Trail so the walk can be extended for miles.
