Doctor canceled follow-up visits many times, didn't listen to complaints, pushed off concerns. Procedure was not done correctly and one side of the tummy looks better, but the other side looks like I never had the procedure other than the scar across the abdomen. When the doctor finally deemed it appropriate to acknowledge that the procedure had not worked, I was offered some perks but no correction to the botched tummy tuck; no refund, no new procedure. I saw some red flags along the way and ignored them due to the idea of this quick fix. It all started with the consultation with Rachel in Hackensack over selling. Results are not as expected. The surgery itself was done by giving me two rounds of about 5 pills to knock me out, I woke during the procedure in pain. No pre-surgery bloodwork collected. Four days after the surgery on Saturday I was not feeling well & I had to go to urgent care as I developed a fever. I had called them several times but they do not work the weekends I am now living (one-year post-surgery) with a red hip-to-hip raised incision, a crease running across my abdomen above my belly button and lumpy lipo work which I questioned as something I did not need. My skin is not tight as they quote they do. I have called several times for a visit with the Doctor to discuss... I could not get an appointment for months, I even asked twice if the doctor is aware that I am unhappy, acknowledging yes. Shame on the doctor for not calling. I also continued to call in to check for cancellations and no accommodation. I never thought liposuction was for me. I thought it cost in the tens of thousands of dollars and I thought it was a way too painful and gruesome procedure for me. I was wrong on all fronts. I called Sono Bello after seeing their TV commercial and realized that it's totally something I can afford (with their Care Credit program). I went in for a consultation, still very nervous and hesitant, and Dr. Dipietro and Tricia addressed all of my concerns. They explained the whole procedure to me, answered all my questions and were very sympathetic and supportive. It was easier to commit to the procedure after talking to them. As for the procedure itself, they give you pain killer and numb the area they're working on, so you really don't feel a lot of pain during the process. Dr. Dipietro has "angel hands" and you hardly feel a thing as the fat gets sucked out. The surgical assistant, Jessica, was also great emotional support. I walked out of the clinic feeling fine. After taking a nap, I was able to start checking emails, doing work and cleaning up around my apartment the same day. I was most worried about pain after the procedure, but that too was easily managed with the prescription pain killers. I took prescription pain relievers my first two days and, today, my 3rd day post-op, I'm only taking Tylenol and I have almost no pain. The whole thing was so much easier than I thought it would be! I wish I'd done this years ago. As for my results, my belly is flat and my love handles are gone! And the bruising is minimal. The front desk staff was great, but yes too much paperwork. I felt as though I was signing my life away. Then I was forced to have a chaperone, for which I had to pay extra. The front desk staff are terribly rude for no reason, I had surgery there and almost died, I was in the emergency room due to this procedure, they do not test you for sensitivity to lidocaine. Lidocaine is absorbed into the blood stream which can affect your vital organs, primarily the brain and heart, I was not able to sleep for 5 days straight. I had seizures which I never had in my life, I had sleep paralysis and was unable to sleep. I was alert and was hearing myself even snore and was awake, so my body was physically asleep however my brain was alert and awake, I was sleep deprived mentally. I thought I was losing my mind, and now I have to see a neurologist every month and do all sorts of tests, like cat scan, MRI of the brain, brain wave activity, l48 hour brain test in which I had to wear a device to see my brain activity for 48 hours. I am doing numerous brain exams to see why I am not able to sleep through the night still since the procedure. This procedure has caused me more harm than good. Not to mention that the results are terrible, please do not go to Sonobello unless you are ready to die or be botched. I call them swella cuz all they do is swell you up and make you look worst off then when you first came in. I truly regret this procedure. Hi! Today (02/20/23) was my consultation at Sono Bello. I went to the Lexington Avenue, NY location and my consult was amazingly comfortable and I was at ease the entire time I was there. The front desk staff was very professional and courteous and make you feel welcomed. Be prepared to complete paperwork similar to a first time visit at any doctor's office. Ms. Rice completed my consultation; she was a real sweetheart and made me feel very comfortable. Ms. Rice explained everything to me and completely addressed my concerns and explained the process (pre-op and post-op) to me along with my follow-up visits and massages. My total procedure including the discounts came to about $7800 dollars. I paid the deposit of $1000 and the remaining balance can be paid over 12, 18, 24, 36 months. I opted for the 12 months because it is interest free but you have to make the best choice that works with your budget. My procedure is scheduled for March 2023 and I am super excited. The staff was very supportive during my body changing procedure! Had lipo and Excise (EX) which removes excess skin. Have a bikini cut. Using a scar cream to reduce and eliminate scar. It's working. Experienced serious discomfort for two weeks which diminishes each week. I'm new again and looking really cute and shapely. If you have really good credit, do a balance transfer with a low interest rate. Much cheaper than financing. Still have a bump of fat near belly button which will be reviewed at the 6 month post-op.
