I have an internet router in the upstairs hallway and an internet music streamer downstairs in the living room. I needed to route an optical cable between these two points. We needed to poke a hole in the garage ceiling to get the wire to it's desired location. This is tricky and the tech poked the hole in the right place in one try. Then ran the cable across the garage ceiling, down to under the house, and back up to the wall where a box installed. Sounds complicated but suffice it to say, Jacob's team did elegant work. If I could give Sonoma Coast Electric twenty stars, I would've hacked Yelp's system by now. Had them come out to install 5 IP cameras (because I watch too much true crime), 2 motion lights (to scare raccoons and maybe my neighbors), a ceiling fan (because it's hot and wife is dramatic), and run wires through walls like tech ninjas. They sent out three guys--and not one of them gave "we're just here for the paycheck" energy. Every single person was friendly, professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. No weird sighs. No disappearing for "tools" that take 45 minutes. Just solid work and good vibes. They got it all done quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and even tolerated my 14 questions.
