The original solar systems were installed years ago by SolarCraft and Ambrose. When it came time to add a backup battery in Napa, we chose SonoMarin first. That project went so smoothly that we later asked them to install a battery on our older, more complex Marin system as well. Despite the added complexity, they handled both installations efficiently and got everything up and running without drama. Ayelet in the office deserves special mention. She provides near-instant responses to texts and emails, keeps everything moving, and somehow manages to coordinate all the moving parts with ease. If you've ever dealt with solar projects, you know how valuable that is. She had seemingly infinite patience for my never-ending questions, handling them with professionalism and speed. She also helped me apply for relevant rebates and helped interface with the nightmare that is PG&E, making it all look easy. The whole team jumped through hoops to get the system in before the tax break expired. SonoMarin is a small company, localled owned and run by the same people I originally worked with at SolarCraft on our first install years ago, which really shows in the level of care and accountability. Avner and Nick have built a great company. Pricing was competitive--frankly, all three bids we received were in the same range--but the execution and communication set them apart. I would recommend SonoMarin without hesitation.

They also handled all the back-and-forth with PG&E, which meant we didn't have to worry about a thing on that end. Dan Moran managed the project and kept everything streamlined throughout. After installation, he came back out for a consultation with my husband and me to walk us through the app and show us how to get the most out of our system. Cassius Camus, our energy consultant, helped us get set up with the right plan from the start, and Colton led a clean, professional installation. Every part of the process felt carefully handled. If you're considering solar, I'd highly recommend this team. They are professional, organized, and locally owned! They made a complicated process feel simple, and the job got done in record time as well.

When we raised concerns, I believe the salesperson my partner dealt with wanted to make things right, but sales leadership stepped in, dismissed our concerns as unfounded, and offered nothing. Those concerns were (and still are): 1) Sketchy contract execution. NPP offers a 5-year prepaid lease in partnership with Balto Energy. It lets homeowners offset installation costs because the leasing company collects a 30% federal tax credit (no longer available to homeowners) and, in NPP's words, "monetizes that tax credit over 5 years." The contract was executed by sending the DocuSign to just one partner, with all owners lumped onto a single signature line -- one person signing on behalf of the other. For a married couple in California, that's legally questionable under community property law, given a) the encumbrances placed on jointly owned property, and b) no power of attorney authorizing one spouse to sign for the other. I never saw the agreement until installation was underway. 2) Misleading claims. My partner was told, verbally and in writing, that we'd "own the system outright" at the end of the 5-year term. In truth, the contract contains only vague language about a fair-market-value buyout, with no detail on how to initiate it or who to contact at end of lease. We've had zero contact with Balto through this entire process -- only NPP -- yet NPP's sales director told us they have no role in the lease agreement once it's signed. In other words, they don't stand behind the product they sell. Don't be like us -- do your diligence (especially if you're over 65 and new to solar leases), verify every claim against the actual contract language, and make sure all owners review and sign every agreement.

The LCD readout on the front of my Sunny Boy was no longer displaying, and my Sunny Beam monitor showed it was no longer getting a Bluetooth signal from the Sunny Boy inverter. I found out that SMA will not process a warranty claim with the user, you have to have a "solar professional" submit the warranty claim. The problem was that the solar company that installed my solar panels and inverter in 2009 (and did a beautiful job) had relocated to Walnut Creek and been bought out by another company, and would only respond on a hourly basis, including travel time both ways, so that was impractical. They suggested I contact a local solar company for the warranty work, but the first four local companies I contacted either had a policy of not working on solar voltaic systems they didn't install, or weren't interested in a small warranty job. Finally found Tyler Rodrigues Electric which responded promptly to my query, and agreed to make a visit for a $100 trip fee plus $100/hour. The problems turned out to be simple to diagnose: The viewing window on the front of my Sunny Boy cover had become opaque with age, so you could no longer see the LCD readout; and the Sunny Beam bluetooth module inside the Sunny Boy only needed to be re-seated in its connector to start transmitting again. Accordingly, Tyler Rodrigues Electric only charged me the $100 trip fee, and then sent e-mails to SMA in Sacramento on my behalf that resulted in receipt of a warranty replacement cover with a clear viewing window. So, kudos to Mr. Tyler Rodrigues, and it will be a no-brainer who to call when it finally comes time to replace my solar inverter.

I'm aware of the fact that it's to-date one of the few negative reviews for Vital Energy, but I'm…read moregoing to share my warning to others, as it could suggest that they may not be of the same quality as before. Vital's quote was higher than most others we received, but given their reviews, we decided it was worth the extra spend for a clean install. Pre-install had delays and miscommunications. I know this is common with projects, so I remained positive. I was sent engineering plans for my approval. I saw that these revised plans were for a smaller system than what I had originally agreed to. The change would have made it easier for the installers, but would have netted me less energy, with no adjustment to my cost. To the PM's credit, he attempted to draw my attention to these changes when they were sent for my approval, but I nevertheless saw it as a proposed change constructed to benefit Vital with no consideration toward me, and delayed the process even more as I had them change back to the original agreed-upon system size. I remained positive. On installation day, one of the installers broke my new and expensive inverter. I said no big deal, I'll talk to the PM and we'll figure something out. Even though the system wasn't fully functional due to the broken inverter, but I nevertheless paid everything that was due that day, withholding only a documented amount equivalent to a replacement inverter until we can find a resolution. The manufacturer would only replace the broken inverter it with a used device under warranty (i.e. one that another customer has returned and has been refurbished) with a shorter warranty window. Rather than demand a new inverter at the company's expense, which I believe I fairly could have, I proposed options which included a partial credit for the downgrade (and the warranty hassle and ~two months lost solar generation). After waiting weeks for a reply, I followed up and their finance specialist accepted responsibility for the damage IN WRITING and agreed to the credit. I spent hours on the warranty process, found an oversized box, and shipped the broken unit. This is where it unraveled. Right after the resolution, CEO Jason Jackson, got involved for the first time, deflected blame, and said he thinks my equipment was defective (a manufacturing defect somehow caused a piece of hard plastic to snap off?), asked to inspect it and offered to handle the warranty for me. I told him that the package was already shipped, and that I would have very much welcomed his examination and warranty help three weeks ago (rather than the radio silence I received), but the resolution reached, device shipped and warranty in motion. And despite his self-proclaimed "30 years in the industry," didn't appear to have a grasp of the situation as he incorrectly called the inverter a "battery," and required correction. He also accused me of breach of contract for temporarily withholding a small amount due to the breakage. Meanwhile, I noticed flickering lights in several rooms. Nothing suggested a solar connection, so we called an electrician... three visits and $1,300+ later, he traced it to loose connections and a stripped lug in equipment the installers had just worked in, attributing it to the install with a high degree of likelihood. I had been willing to absorb that bill just to move on. Instead, as the CEO kept trying to walk back the written agreement, I was told my warranty might now be partially void because a licensed electrician had worked in the same area, and the Vital threatened a lien on my home while I was withholding the remaining balance awaiting a corrected ledger and the heat detectors their own permit plans required. Five employees of Vital were copied in to the email thread which created an audience, so I eventually decide to email Jason directly to remove the risk of humiliation for him (I detected a hefty ego), and gave him a generous compromise offer. I made major concessions to just get this over with and we finally put it to bed. I was pleasantly surprised that he did not ask me to sign an NDA as part of a compromise, because now it allows me to share my experience here. The field crews were likable and professional, and even the installer who broke the inverter seemed like a knowledgeable, decent guy. Leadership is what failed here, at real cost in time and stress. Do your due diligence, and weigh the ownership of any company you hire. There are plenty of reputable solar companies out there...

The challenge: the line had to penetrate a shear wall into the garage -- already packed with HVAC, gas lines, and existing electrical -- and then find its way to the laundry room in the center of the house. We fully expected to be patching sheetrock on at least one wall when it was all over. Ed Electric surprised us completely. Not only did they identify a far simpler and smarter route into the house that we never would have thought of, but they ran the line in a way that is completely hidden yet fully accessible -- and not a single piece of sheetrock was touched. The finished result looks clean and professional, as if it had always been there. Their quote was fair, and they showed up to start the work the very next day. No waiting around, no runaround. What truly made the experience stand out was the owner taking time after the job to have a genuine conversation with me about how someone I know might pursue a career as a licensed electrician, and the state of the profession in the Bay Area. It is supposed to turn the lights on and off when it senses you walk in and out. The universe had other plans. It tuned on and off when the wind blew, when I sneezed, when the dog barked. It didn't turn on when I went into the dark bathroom at night. It liked to turn off when I was in the shower ...at night. I couldn't stand it anymore. I was afraid it would be expensive. I faced that fear because I just couldn't take it. I used a yelps handy dandy helper for someone to come. Someone licensed and professional. Out of the replies this one stood out so I scheduled the same day appointment. Within 30 minutes my switches were replaced. I was happy and the fee was so reasonable. My only regret was not doing this sooner! Omar was the electrician who came into my home, wore a mask (I am immunocompromised), and did the work neatly, efficiently, and professionally. Elder and the guys did an excellent job in covering up the entire house and finished the job in 2 days. My house had no insulation in the walls- to very less in the attic. After the insulation my Heat as well as Cold is retained inside the house. Heat turns on once in a 24 Hr cycle vs multiple times in an hour previously. If you are thinking of in wall insulation, it's totally worth it. The quote was the most competitive and they were very flexible. I am still closing out the multiple holes in the wall, will take time as i prefer to do it myself- I had plans to paint anyway .

I was initially impressed with what seemed like a thorough and well-considered estimate. It felt…read morelike the team really evaluated my attic and cooling needs. The addition of two QuietCool fans also seemed like a major plus, as I was already familiar with the product and expected it would significantly help with cooling. When it came to the insulation work, I was very pleased. The crew did an excellent job removing the old insulation and installing the new. They worked efficiently, protected my floors well, and ensured that no insulation debris entered the living areas. That part of the job was handled professionally. However, I was less impressed with the radiant barrier installation. This may partly be due to a misunderstanding on my end, as I expected a different type of material, but the end result did not meet my expectations. The biggest issue, unfortunately, was the installation of the fans. At best, it was very poorly executed. The fans are 16" units with 12" duct openings, yet they were installed directly against the gables, which severely restricts airflow. Proper installation should have included a box or shroud to help direct airflow effectively through the fans. Because of this poor airflow, the fans do not cool the attic--in fact, they appear to make things worse. I can actually watch the temperature on the thermostat increase when the fans are turned on. I reached out to my representative multiple times, but the response was disappointing. I was told they could not take the fans back, and when I asked why the attic temperature increases when they are running, I was told there was no explanation and nothing further could be done. As temperatures continue to rise, I'm left frustrated that I spent $1,200 on two fans that perform the opposite of what was promised, with no meaningful support or resolution offered. UPDATE: After posting my initial review, I was contacted by both the project manager and the owner. I reiterated the reasons for my frustration, explaining that my review reflected my honest impression of what I saw as a lack of clear communication and effective management of the project and customer expectations. The project manager apologized for the communication breakdown and asked if I would be open to giving them an opportunity to make things right. A technician was then sent out, and he took the time to fully understand the issue, carefully examine the installation, and make several adjustments to the original work. He believes these changes will help improve airflow in the attic. Since my attic has some unique characteristics, he also provided helpful suggestions for additional ways to improve cooling and airflow--something I feel should have been addressed during the initial planning stage of the project. Whether these changes will result in significant improvement remains to be seen; I'll have a better sense once the weather warms up. I do appreciate the follow-up and the willingness of the project manager to reach out and try to make things right, and I have updated my review accordingly. That said, I want to be clear that the increase in my rating is largely due to the technician and the time he invested in evaluating the full situation, as well as both implementing and proposing thoughtful solutions.

Every sub-contractor that he brought in for specialized pieces like our master shower tile, shower glass, flooring and insulation were friendly and did absolutely top of the line work. He is also very clever at figuring out solutions to curveballs that our house threw and could take our crazy Pinterest pictures and piece them together to build custom solutions like the bench in the master shower. Overall our project included a major overhaul and upgrade to our electrical panel / electrical service to the street, major plumbing upgrades, new windows, a master bathroom addition and a complete interior paint/flooring refresh and remodel including a complete kitchen remodel (with removing load bearing walls to create an open concept) and hall bath remodel. Our house of 16 years is now a sturdy, safe home we can spend the next 50 years in - Travis didn't cut any corners and understood that this needs to be our dream home that will last "generations" as he put it. He's an honest guy with old fashioned values and you just won't find a better team to take on your project.

Two promptly came back with bids within 24 hours. One, Bay Alarm set expectations they needed more days and even a weekend to prepare the bid. The weekend came and went without a bid showing up. By Thursday afternoon, a week after the other bids were in my inbox, I called in only to find out the service technician was still working on it. A week after he said we'd have it to us, and long after the others had arrived, still working on it. It made me pause. Naturally I was wondering exactly how long it would take them to call the police if my newly installed security alarm were to go off in our home? Always under commit and over deliver, not the other way around. Confidence shaken for sure.

Amazing to still find an honest, responsible, and completely fair priced electrician anywhere in the North Bay Area! After interviewing a couple of others (including one who charged me $90 for the time to come out and write a quote), and never hearing back from some, it was an absolute pleasure to have Bill Henry and his crew complete a main service panel upgrade at our home. This involved more than one site visit to our house; once for the initial consultation/quote, and another to meet with the city planning department and PG&E, before the actual work could be done (in one day) on the third visit. He even dropped by again a few days later to make sure everything was perfect, as he could not be there for the final portion of the installation. I know very well that I was probably a somewhat "difficult" client, in the sense that I had some very specific, detailed requirements (both aesthetically and in the exact choice of materials used), but Bill took it all in stride, and made sure that I was included in the decision process and well informed all along the way. His billing was refreshingly transparent, with his actual receipts for materials passed along to me (with no additional markup!), plus straight hourly labor added. All in all, it was more than fair, and I hesitate to mention how much he saved me over the other quotes I received, lest he start to raise his rates in the near future. We had been wanting to do some upgrades in our home for some time. When our list grew to four projects, it was time to take action and find a good electrician. We had been saving recommendations listed on "Nextdoor" and checked their reviews. Then we called and got estimates from the top rated referrals. The best of both worlds was B. Henry's Quality Electric. We were able to get an appointment for an estimate in just two days and he arrived on time. His estimate was very reasonable and we got a date to the job Just two weeks out. His crew did a wonderful job. Their experience showed, as they left us some of the sheetrock cutouts so we could match new paint for touch-ups after the work was done. One of our projects was a ceiling fan in a room which had very limited room above to work in, but they squeezed in all the same. They also suggested considering LED lights for our new units, since this is what direction the future is going and we had not considered this. Our projects all got completed in one day, when the competition gave us a two day timeframe. They also gave us all of the receipts for the fixtures which were purchased and installed, just in case we had a problem and needed to do a return down the road. Bill personally inspected the work his crew did once completed and made sure we were satisfied. What more could we ask for? 100% satisfaction and a reasonable price. So, I rarely rate anything but this time I feel compelled. My house was very dark and had angled ceilings making lighting difficult. I was running lamps everywhere but still wasn't able to achieve good lighting. Bill was recommended to me by a trusted friend. I didn't know exactly what I wanted/needed to fix my problem. Bill did a free evaluation and recommended recessed lighting (which I never really liked). Although I was hesitant, Bill made me feel at ease. His crew arrived exactly on time. They were polite and respectful to myself and my wife. They took the time to give us various scenarios of the layout of the recessed lighting until we found what we liked. They were patient and didn't mind this and in the end the result was fantastic. Not only did they place beautiful recessed LED lights throughout my house (that can be swiveled), they also placed dimmers on many different switches so that we have multiple lighting options. I added a lot of extra work as well and they never minded (but I still feel bad about it). Bill's crew did an AMAZING job. My house finally looks clear and bright and it actually looks much bigger. The guys that did the job were so professional. They took EXACTLY 30 minutes for lunch and were back on the job each day on time. Bill and his team provided stellar service. This was my first experience working with electrical contractors, and I was very very happy with the quality and integrity of this company, and his prices were lower than the other quotes I received. My job was complicated, involving multiple pieces, each requiring its own estimates and project plan. Bill sat with me at the outset and we chunked out the work. He then provided estimates for each component, and we prioritized and staged the work. Realizing that we needed the work done quickly, he was able to make adjustments in his schedule to accommodate our need. His relationship with the County is strong, and inspections went smoothly. He was personally involved at key points in the process, but I was also impressed with his employees. They were friendly and efficient, and communicated regularly with Bill throughout the process. Our property is large, and the span to our home is far from the PG&E electricity pole. Bill came up with a creative solution using transformers that avoided the high cost and complications of high capacity cables. He kept us informed at every point in the process. When things didn't initially go as he had hoped (e.g., the transformer vendor provided incomplete information on the setup process), his regular communications with them resulted in a quick solution. WOW and WOW Not only is Bill personable and knowledgeable his team follows his lead. I had Dominic and Vicente come out here to install overhead lighting and an attic fan which needed a new thermostat. Dominc and Vicente were friendly, professional. We had to change where the lights were going to go since there was a beam and i needed these lights in my dark hallway. Dominic and Vicente recommended the lights in 2 specific areas and they were 1000% percent correct. I can't tell you how happy I am. They both are thorough and clean you never would have known they were here except for my wonderful lighting and my relief of now having a fan that works in my attic. Vicente and I even had a discussion on what temp to have my fan turn on that would work best since there really is no shade. When they completed the work both Vicente and Dominic went over everything that was done asked if I was happy and had any questions. It truly is a relief when you know you have a reliable and knowledgeable electrician with a crew you can trust as much and so personable. HONEST, DEPENDABLE, PROFESSIONAL, REASONALE and PERSONABLE are just a few words to describe Bill and his crew! We needed some fans installed in our home and came across Bill's name on Nextdoor. He had great reviews and needless to say, Bill did not disappoint! He returned our calls (Yay!) and scheduled our appointments relatively quickly. He and his son arrived on time... even a bit early. He also brought a dog biscuit for our dogs ~ nice touch! Both he and his son were very personable and friendly ~ really a pleasure! His crew showed up on time and were friendly and very professional. They were efficient yet took the time to make sure they got fine details just right. They were unbelievably polite ~ quietly shutting our screen door and remarkably clean. You want honest, Bill is your guy. You want someone that cares about your home and listens to your requests, Bill is your guy. Over the past few days, Chris & Vicente have been doing some upgrades to my home. All new lights throughout my home, new smoke detectors and a dining room light/fan combo install. I asked Chris when he first arrived, if he could please do the smoke detectors first (they have been going off every 2 days and waking us up at 1 am). His response, yes let's get those done first. These men are some of the best electricians out there. Chris asked me, before installing all the lights, which color I preferred, and showed me all the options. When they were done with a section of my house, they cleaned up and vacuumed. I had different options of where dimmers could be placed in my home, Chris went over all those options with me and we picked the best spots together. Thanks Chris and Vicente for the great work! I was having a problem with my electric vehicle charger station. I called B. Henry due to the reviews I had read and wasn't disappointed. He and a co-worker came over as scheduled. He replaced a circuit breaker that was the incorrect size and had me make an adjustment on my Chargepoint app to adjust the charging amperage. All was working fine until the power went off to the charger later that day. He had his coworker come back the next day and reconfigure my panel and found a problem with the buss bar. All then worked fine. He called the next day while I was out of town and asked if I would be home the following day so he could come by to check that all was well. He did, and confirmed all was working as it was supposed to. He had me plug in my car and insure the amerage it was drawing was what it should be. His price was extremely fair and I asked how much I owed for his return visit and he told me "nothing" as it still wasn't correct after the first visit. Great service, honest, and very fair pricing, I know who I will be calling for any future elecrical work. read more

Yes he can fix your electrical problem. And yes, he also has neo-nazi tattoos on his face and hands. Is that the kind of person you want in your home? I made the mistake of hiring him years ago, and didn't notice the SS bolts tattooed on his face and hands until he was in the middle of fixing a light fixture for me. Being a woman home alone, I didn't feel safe asking him to leave because of his plain-as-day nazi tattoos (and also had wires hanging from my ceiling...) so he finished up and I paid him, and have been warning friends ever since. I know others who have had uncomfortable experiences with him being clearly racist, but they haven't posted reviews since this guy knows where they live and they were worried about repercussions. This man does not belong in our community and certainly doesn't belong in your home. I highly recommend you hire any other electrician who is NOT a f*cking nazi to do your electrical work. (Also, let's not pretend that these are electricity bolt tattoos because he's an electrician. SS bolts are a well known and easily recognized hate symbol) read more

We have used B. Henry's Quality Electric, Inc. three times over the past decade for various home upgrade projects involving panel upgrades, outdoor lighting, hot tub installation, and recessed lighting and ceiling light/fan installations. Bill Henry, the owner, is responsive, professional, and friendly with your pets if you have them (he always has treats in his pocket). He always does a walk through to understand the project and lays everything out in writing, including a budget to which he sticks, and follows up to ensure everything was done correctly and to our satisfaction. His employees emulate the same professional attitude. Chris and Vicente, who were assigned to our most recent project, restored my faith in the younger generation. They were punctual, hardworking, respectful, careful where they worked, cleaned up and put everything back before they left, and took initiative with upgrade recommendations and suggestions for problem solving along the way. We just had another positive experience with B. Henry's Quality Electric. When the power went out in our kitchen late last Sunday night, Bill Henry was there early Monday morning to see what needed to be done. It was exactly the kind of prompt, personal service we've always received from Bill. After assessing the situation, Bill turned the job over to two of his team members, David and Anthony. Having worked with these two gentlemen in the past, we knew we were in good hands. I am grateful to them both for the diligent job they did in tracking down the problem, a tedious process that led them through a wall-full of outlets--they had to dismantle and examine each one--through the attic and under the house. I never heard them complain. In fact, they politely answered all my questions and helped me understand how our house is wired. So, this is probably going to end up buried somewhere, because I don't do much on Yelp. I've worked with Bill Henry a few times; my sister was doing a remodel in Fairfax, and the electrician the contractor brought in ripped her off. Bill came in and set things to right, and did a great job. I needed help with a remodel on my own home, and called Bill. He was responsive, understood the situation, and was always on time and professional. Later, I was brought in on a construction project for the America's Cup in SF, and was happy to find Bill was the electrician. He had to bring in a large crew, and everyone was on time, sober, and quick and accurate. A good experience. I recently needed more work at my home...some lighting and network wiring. I called Bill, and he again was responsive, on time, and as part of the project found some problems I was vaguely aware of and fixed them. I would absolutely recommend B. Our kitchen light switch was not functioning properly. I attempted to replace the switch only to realize the new one is configured differently than the 40 year old original. Confused and not looking to cause further problems, I called B Henry Electric, as I had last year for an outdoor outlet problem. Bill called earlier than the scheduled time to say he was currently available if that would work for me. I simply want to convey the satisfaction I have for the professional that Bill is. No job is too small. He patiently listened to my story, expertly explained the confusing aspect of my attempt, and proceeded to resolve the matter while educating me in the process. FANTASTIC ELECTRICIAN!!! I cannot recommend B Henry's Quality Electric high enough! Bill and his team are fantastic! We sought them out for a quote to update our electrical panel and a couple other odds and ends around the house. After checking out our panel, Bill told us that our current panel was safe and adequate and we probably didn't really have a need for an upgrade. Not often you get people in the trades, downselling. I was very impressed. After a quick walkthrough and discussion of our other issues, Bill got right to work, during what was only supposed to be a quote! He not only fixed one of our problems on the spot, he didn't even charge us for the minor fix. Bill was able to discuss all our concerns and whip up a quote on the spot. I needed an electrician to install six ceiling fans at my house. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of hiring another company to do the job because I was tight on time. I regretted hiring this first company because their electrician was incompetent. Due to wrong wiring, he caused a remote relay to burn out in one room, and he did not know how to rewire the can lights and the fan light separately on my existing wall control in another room. After this fiasco, I decided to call B. Henry for a second opinion. Bill and his son, Joe, solved and fixed the problems quickly and easily. Bill went out of his way to call the first company and explain to them the mistakes that were made. I cannot say enough good things about Bill. B. Henry's Quality Electric came to our home to replace three, 34-year-old fluorescent light fixtures underneath our kitchen cabinets. The entire experience was outstanding. B. Henry's Electric is easy to contact, they set an appointment that fit our schedule, and the electrician arrived exactly at the scheduled time. His work was flawless, and when he was done the kitchen countertops and cabinets were cleaner than when he arrived! In addition to the service, the LED lights B. Henry's Electric sourced for us are far better than the fluorescent lights were, even when new. The price was more than reasonable. When the bill arrived, I saw that we even got a break on the cost of the new light fixtures compared to what I would have paid for the same products. I need to add that working with B. These guys are amazing! I run a vinyl department at our race shop and had a computer fail. Long story short, we needed new software or a new printer. We decided to get a new printer which needed 220volt cables ran to our print room and needed it quickly, as time was limited. I checked reviews on Yelp for electricians in the area and everyone had wonderful things to say about these guys. I called to see if they could accommodate on such short notice. They came out right away, gave us an estimate by mid afternoon, and the very next morning they showed up to run the new cable. They were very professional, explained everything clearly which was beneficial to someone like me who knows nothing about electrical systems. Their pricing was fair, and their follow up was pleasing and prompt. I would absolutely recommend these guys to you all, and will most definitely be commissioning them for future business. 5 stars from us! read more

I needed two sump-pumps wired asap because I had a crawlspace moisture barrier and pumps installed one week earlier and then is rained (in May!!!). Thought I could delay the wiring till the end of the summer, but the pump alarms were going off and I needed someone quick. Called B Henry. Bill called me the same day, and came out to inspect the project on a Sunday, with walking Pneumonia (dude is superman). He even worked with me to create a back up plug for each pump to hook up extension cords in case the fuse busted (I have an old electrical system) Couldn't be there for the work, so had my mother-in-law hang out the house to let them in, out, etc... she said they were kind, courteous, and very clean. Price was a bit higher than expected, but for how quick the call-to-work turnaround occurred, I really can't complain. Will continue to use B Henry exclusively for all my electrical needs. read more

I was quoted a $790 permit fee by George from APG Electric. He claimed that the fee covered logistics, site schematics, and electric plans. He mentioned that if I want to cut cost, we could explore pulling the permit myself. Wanting to explore that option- I did my homework and learned that in addition to the $178 permit fee I also need some techinical paperwork to submit. I asked George about possibly getting the technical paperwork from them; he declined. He also mentioned that I am probably better off working with a different installer. Before I even had the chance to respond or discuss further, I got a notification from Qmerit telling me my project has been reassigned. I find this extremely unprofessional. I was simply exploring reasonable ways to lower my cost- something that George himself suggested. Instead of working with me, APG Electric backed out without a warning, leaving me to start over. I added a couple of more stars to acknowledge the effort George put into the project (i.e. load calculations), which didn't go unnoticed; I do believe George approached the work with good intent. I could not bring myself to go above 3 stars as the delay on my project (due to reassignment initiated by APG Electric) has caused quite a bit of added stress. TL;DR: APG Electric assessed my EV charger install through Qmerit and quoted a $790 permit fee. When I explored pulling the permit myself to save money (as they suggested), they reassigned my project without notice. Totally unprofessional and dismissive.

Scott and his crew came out on a Friday morning, and got the job done within six hours. The stucco was patched wonderfully, and if it wasn't for the panel being a bigger footprint, I would've had no idea they did work... That's how clean it was! We had a nitpicky inspector that unfortunately called out a few things, but Reyff was prompt to fix everything and get me signed off by the county. They took care of me when I had a need, and it was well worth every dollar I spent.
