I agree with the previous reviewer - I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed more! Although I live in San Francisco, where there are many fantastic dispensaries, I have been a pretty regular customer of SMH since trying their phenomenal OG Kush hash oil at the High Times Cannabis Cup this past June. These folks have some of the best cannabis I have ever had. I believe that all their medicine is lovingly grown by the proprietors and their butane free hash oil is out of this world. If you are a fan of concentrates, I highly recommend it. Their prices and new patient specials are great. Strains that really stand out here are their flagship OG Kush, which is always available. Their headband, platinum headband, and blue dream are also top notch. Great selection of tasty edibles and strain-specific pre-rolls also available. Although there are few strains available, only one Sativa, and they do not change their menu all the time as many other clubs do, for indica fans or those who know what strain works for them it's nice to know that there's a place for consistent and regular access to the same thing. I use indicas to calm anxiety so quality control and consistent access to the best medication is very important to me. Additionally, the staff is very professional, knowledgeable, articulate and patient. I can't rave enough about this place. Keep in mind that SMH is closed on Sundays. I went for a follow up visit with the doctor on Thursday. My health has continued to improve. I went over my use of high CBD oil during treatment with my doctor. My liver continues to improve. During the routine blood pressure check, my bp was lowest read in my memory 100/63. I asked the Dr. if I was still alive, laughing. I continued with a 40 day maintenance program of the high CBD oil after completing my therapy. Ok... I don't support middlemen dispensaries. They rip off he patients and profit from a grey area loophole that allows us all to smoke pot legally regardless of our ailment, because cannabis has been proven beneficial for terminally ill patients. I always start conversations about dispensaries this way because I'm educated and passionate on the subject. Now, on to my review. Most dispensaries have someone who works there as a "buyer". Their job is to buy the product at the lowest price possible, hurting the growers who are generally patients trying to do little more than cover the costs of their own medical treatment as the laws outline, allowing the management of the retail facility to mark up as much of a profit on those products as possible. This hurts the patients, who need their medicine made accessible and inexpensive. Also, there are commonly problems with potency, mold or pest issues, or just the unfortunate fact that someone may find the strain that is their own medical holy grail, only to come back and find they are sold out. This dispensary is entirely different. All of their products are produced by them so you're basically buying from a group of growers who are covering their business costs themselves. This allows them to offer their medicine a bit cheaper than other dispensaries, but naturally it's still the same ball-park... Great consistent quality on the same strains whenever you need them is invaluable as a patient. If you're a "patient" this place is also great because their selection and variety are priced competitively as far as dispensaries go. So, until you meet a grower who suits your own personal needs (and i do recommend all legitimate patients find one rather than using clubs), this is a very cool dispensary alternative... Sort of. Whenever I find myself in Sonoma I always stop at SMH! The selection is top shelf and the quality is consistent. The CBD oil and the "miracle cream" are the types of medical cannabis products that will change the world as we know it! I bought the cream and I now use it regularly for joint pain on my ankle. Why this place has not been reviewed dozens of times is beyond me. This is weed heaven! The quality is beyond compare. They only grow their own so the consistency can't be beat either. We had to mix their OGKush it was so strong and their Blue Dream is the real thing...finally. Mike was extremely knowledgable and compassionate. The atmosphere is relaxing and really beautifully done. Their products are displayed like jewels and they even have their strains under magnification. They only sell top shelf but their prices are much better than the greater Bay, only 14 a gram. Never buy from a dispensary that accepts only cash, because when the product is misrepresented or fails you have no recourse. Yesterday I made my first trip inside SMH. I had no idea they've been around as long as they have (3 years) as I'm a frequent customer to a neighboring business. The dude that signed me in and showed me their selection was incredibly welcoming and polite, and the dispensary itself is very clean which makes you feel thst much more welcomed while making a visit. They aren't the biggest dispensary around, but I much prefer the customer service and personable atmosphere of these smaller dispensaries. I wish I'd noticed them sooner after all this time, I would have become a customer long ago and plan to be one as long as their doors are open.
