Our project was large, involving…read morea new paver driveway, new public sidewalk, new turf install, new concrete and paver pathways, new wooden gates and a re-install of a paver patio. The project took a long time with several interruptions due to weather and permitting with the city. For a while it seemed like the sidewalk repair might not happen, but Juan and Freddie were able to work it out with the city and the new sidewalk looks great. Our new paver driveway looks amazing and has given us way more space. The new retaining wall curves around the corner to the street, which was a detail in the design that I really wanted, and they were able to deliver. So far after a few heavy rainstorms everything seems to be draining properly. The plants and landscaping are starting to fill in and I'm hoping that the plants thrive over the summer after some pretty nasty weather the last couple months. Perhaps the best part of the project has turned out to be the backyard where we replaced the grass lawn with turf and had the paver patio re-installed. It looks really nice and the dogs love it. I love that I don't have to spend hours weeding it and worrying about foxtails in dog feet or noses. There is still one step left before completion, since we ended up having to replace our sewer pipe to the street which left a small section of the paver driveway. Overall Northview did great work on a big job with some complicated permitting requirements. They were always respectful, polite and communicative. I'll definitely contact them again for future work and would recommend Northview Landscaping to friends and neighbors.

I have used Sean for several projects on my property over the last year and will continue to do so. He built the fence around our garden, implemented the irrigation system (including trenching and plumbing), helped design our garden layout and advise on permaculture principles, built swales along contour lines, knocked out a bunch of sheet mulching, and assisted with building a laundry-to-landscape system. His humble demeanor belies a truly knowledgeable and skilled permaculture artisan, and yet he's not afraid to roll up his sleeves and bang out work that needs to be done. Lastly, he is very professional from a financial standpoint: he has promptly prepared an estimate prior to each job, and he has hit those estimates almost every time. I really can't recommend Sean highly enough.

Since I was overseeing everything due to my husband's declining health, I really appreciated that they treated me as a woman as an equal.
