Sergio and Maria cleaned ALL of our windows which are now sparkling! In addition to the windows, Sergio also cleaned out the gutters, solar panels and removed years of accumulated moss from our roof. I had asked him to clean the railings on our upper deck. He threw in cleaning the deck itself. I wish we had hired him to also do the lower deck railings and floor. I didn't notice the difference until after they had taken off. (Check out the pictures to compare the before an after, assuming I can figure out a way to attach them to this review.) Amazing Window Washing prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be calling them next year, but plan to add the lower deck and power washing the cobwebs from the whole house. I don't usually go to such lengths endorsing companies, but this one deserves every accolade I can give it!

We made an appt for the very next week (9/4/15), David and his assistant showed up to our home on time and ready to go. We have a set of gutters along the side of the house that is on a zero-lot line. They couldn't go onto our neighbor's property to clean them out but they were able to accommodate us by cleaning those gutters by scooping the debris out by hand! Those particular gutter were pretty full so we understand how much work that was for them! They recommended crowns be installed in the downspouts which will really help keep leaves and sticky balls, of the tree next door, out of our gutters. They also recommended a few things they could do for a problem "waterfall" gutter we have near the front door which we truly appreciated as well. They were prompt, friendly, great communication & took less than an hour (we have a 1250 sq ft house, single story with gutters on all 4 sides) Very reasonable pricing & they also cleaned up from the mess the gutter cleaning left behind. We plan on having our gutters maintained annually from now on and will definitely be calling Nor Cal Maintenance again next fall!

If you hire them, get a signed contract with clear scope, verify the invoice matches actual work performed, and confirm what documentation you'll receive during the work. I'd take the time to get multiple estimates and research other options before committing.

I had texted Sean some "before" pictures and he let me know they could make it look better but that it was not likely they'd get all of the stains out. Insanity…read morethat I was going to let these guys swap out my aluminum posts for iron posts that wouldn't even match my gate. So I ask again, what are these guys experts at? Initial experience was bad. Sales guy came, was short with me, seems uninterested. Promised to give a quote. Waited 4 days. Didn't get a reply. I wrote a bad review and moved on. Owner contacted me asking me to remove the review and he can help me out with my gate job. I needed someone to help fix a botched gate install job so agreed. The job was to remove two existing posts and replace it with new steel posts. The price quoted for TWO posts were not cheap. He seems to think he's doing me favor for labor only but it was not cheap. It cost the same amount as the full job by the other company for the full install. I'm OK with it because at that point I wanted a job to be done by someone who knows how to do the work. Of course, I found out the reason they're expensive because they SUBCONTRACT to another company that specializes in gates. Are they the expert or is the subcontractor the expert? Nevertheless, I waited a week and a half for the scheduled date. The night before, he text me and ask if I have two steel posts that they need. They quoted me a very high amount to fix two posts but does not provide the materials for the fix. These guys are supposed to be experts in STEEL gates but do not have the materials for STEEL. So what are they experts in? Subcontracting? Reselling gate install service? What irritates me is that he sprung this on me at the last moment the day before. Our conversation was that the quoted price includes labor and materials to fix except for the extra materials that are needed that are ALUMINUM which I purchased. The fact that he asked me to provide STEEL materials at the last possible moment was maybe because (a) he misquoted me or (b) the subcontractors wanted more money to do the work. In any case, I cancelled the job. I cannot trust a company that bait and switch. If you misquote, then you own the difference, not spring it on your customer at the last moment.

What can we say that hasn't already been said? This company is amazing, from the office support receiving calls and requests, to the scheduling, to the quick estimation, and finally, to the finished work. We spoke or worked with Carlos, Esme, Julio and Dave. They are all right on top of things, know what they are doing, and do it well, thoroughly, and quickly! We have 2 mahogany decks that are about 30 years old, give or take a few. They were looking very tired and needed some small repairs. Now, it would be fair to say that they look almost brand new. And, in only 2 days. You may need to wait a bit to actually have the work done, as we did, but it is worth it. This may be the best deck repair, cleaning and staining/painting company in Sonoma County. These are certainly among the nicest, most conscientious people you will ever hire. Villanova Deck and Staining came out last week and performed a miracle on my 12 year old deck. The poor thing had not had any care or attention for the past five years. Carlos, Esme and Dave were able to assess what was needed, which was basically a good cleaning, some sanding and the proper application of stain. My deck is built of mangaris, which is an exotic hardwood like mahogany. The stain color chosen was Armstrong's "Mahogany" and it is now breathtakingly beautiful! Before they started I wasn't really sure how much could be done to "bring it back". I just wish I could post before and after photos. They are so professional, friendly and the attention to detail was great! I can't say enough good things about how professional everyone on the team is. Unlike another company I'd called that said they were coming. but flaked out on me 3 times. Carlos and Esme from Villanova came out exactly when they said they would and gave us a very reasonable quote. We were one of their last jobs of the season due to weather constraints and I really appreciate their hard work and persistence because the weather did not cooperate at all. They were all out here on Saturday working very hard to make sure our deck got done. My husband and I are so pleased with the way it turned out that we're already getting on next years calendar to have some additional work done. Villanova refinished three old, neglected redwood decks and a bench at our house. They did lots of prep work and the result was excellent. Despite all the sanding and powerwashing, there was nothing for us to clean up! Esme, who oversees the schedules, worked hard to accommodate our needs.
