Cesar and his amazing crew accomplished a mind-blowing amount of work in less than a week and with the utmost professionalism. We are building a pool in our backyard, and needed a concrete contractor to pour a concrete decking all around the pool. After much deliberation and interviewing 5 different contractors, we hired Sierra's Concrete to do the concrete decking. They were the most responsive, had the best suggestions, and they had a large selection of photos of their previous work online. Their contracted work entailed: 1 - digging an 87 feet long, 6 feet deep French drain around the pool 2 - installing surface drains to collect rain water 3 - forming and pouring a roughly 1500 square feet deck according to our custom design Sierra's Concrete performed the work to perfection, ahead of schedule, and left the place cleaner than how they found it. It was a real pleasure to witness their performance. Their dedication, coordination, attention to detail and work ethic all shone during the 6 days that they spent here. I never witnessed any heated temper or frustration, the entire crew worked in perfect harmony in a relaxed but professional atmosphere. You could tell that they enjoyed working together and took great pride in their work. Cesar had excellent suggestions to improve on my design. I never had to ask him to do anything twice, and he was true to his word until the very end. His team worked relentlessly, barely ever taking breaks, moving from one task to the next without ever getting into each others' way. He reviewed all the work required to form a new large patio, as well as pouring a new pad for an 12' X 10' ft Workshop, and another for an 12' X 8' above ground pool, as well as an additional repair of old damaged walkways, and finally creating a new sidewalk for wheelchair access to the backyard. Cesar and his crew replaced a small attached garage and driveway with a brand new driveway and outdoor parking space. He had to replace retaining walls and the driveway itself. They did an awesome job! They are easy to communicate with and even helped connect us with a colleague who could do some basic plans and work through the city's permitting process. One end of our home was a muddy area which we had used for storage of garden supplies. We finally decided to upgrade it by having a concrete pad installed. Contacted Sierra's Concrete on a Thursday, and the work was started and finished (except for drying and basic curing) the following Tuesday. Owner Cesar even suggested a no-extra-cost texturing of the finished work to give it some visual interest. He understood the importance of the height of the pad compared to the home's foundation, the need to leave space between the finished pad and the adjacent fence, and the need to grade the surface so rainwater would drain away from the house. As the cement arrived at the site, they spread a tarp to protect against droppings and afterwards swept the area completely clean! 100% satisfaction.
