One happy group of ghost hunters

My partner and I have toured with Ellen and Devin twice now, in both Napa and Sonoma. This last time we also took my son, who is the world's biggest critic. Here's what you can expect: 1. Gear. They've got you covered with L2 meters and dowsing rods; however, if you're a ghost hunting nerd like my boyfriend, you're welcome to bring your own. All devices work as expected, and the hosts are careful to explain how electricity from street lights, etc. can interfere. All guests are directed to place their phones on airplane mode (I did this with my Apple Watch as well) 2. History. These are historical tours and the hosts have done their research to provide an authentic educational experience. 3. Participation. You are part of the experience and will be asked to communicate directly with spirits! Both times we had a unique and fun experience. I've taken a ghost tour in Salem, Mass (and my kiddo went on one in Victoria BC with his dad) . I can unequivocally say that you guys are the best!!

What an enjoyable tour! I learned a lot about ghosts and techniques to talk with them. It was historical, respectful of the traumatic history of indigenous people, and fun! Our guides were so kind and very knowledgeable. Its not on of those silly role play tours. I was very impressed!

Wow! What an exciting night! By far the best ghost tour my family and I have ever been on. We got tons of great stories, history, and info from our awesome tour guide and expert paranormal investigator Devin! Best of all, we got to investigate with him throughout downtown. Not sure I can call myself a skeptic anymore after our tour...There's truly no shortage of activity & excitement in Sonoma. Thanks again to Devin and Napa City Ghosts & Legends for an incredible time. Can't wait to be back! Highly recommend! P.S. I got lots of evidence, some of which I included in the photos attached. For the calm and clear night we investigated, I'm still not sure what all those random foggy streaks are all over the photos I took in the field behind the Mission San Francisco Solano. Maybe its just a trick of the light...?

We had a very interesting and enjoyable tour around the Sonoma Plaza on Friday night with Devon. He is a serious ghost hunter and an interesting host with lots of history and interesting stories.

My sister and I really had a great time. Not your typical ghost tour that just tells the history. But it has engaging activities that really lets you know that there are other things around us that we do not see!!

A tree in downtown Sonoma with some frightening history.

I took my 16 year old son for a Ghost Walk with Devin and Ellen on the Sonoma Plaza. We both loved the history and stories we learned. Devin and Ellen have definitely done their research and know the tools of their craft. I think my son was convinced of their gift when they used the spirit box and one little boy ghost called my son by name. I wish we had the time while visiting to go on their other tours in Napa and Vacaville but it's good we have something to look forward to next year. Thanks for sharing your gifts and knowledge with us!

I have visited family in Sonoma for 20+ years, but I learned more about Sonoma and dining options around Sonoma Square on Mia's tour than I ever knew before. We tried cheeses, sausages, Mexican food, olive oil, balsamic vinegars, chocolate, and more as we visited various businesses around and near the Square. Plus, we got a history lesson along the way too! My friends and I had planned to go on this tour in 2020, but Covid shut everything down. I am so happy that the tour is back up and running, so be sure to book your spots now before it fills up. FYI- Covid protocols are in place on this tour, so bring a mask. I would highly recommend this tour if you're a first-time, or even a regular visitor, to the area. As someone who doesn't drink, don't let that stop you! I was pleased to be offered other tasty beverage options on the tour too. Mia is a fantastic guide who is full of pep, knowledge, and great insight into things to taste and see in Sonoma. I will definitely be back!

Their team does a great job bringing people together over a variety of stories and snacks of the sweet and savory kind. Lots of wine, cheese, and chocolate. Also - could Abby be MORE FUN?! I think NOT! A few of my favorites were the sparkling margaritas and stories about the quarry and cobblestones you still see today in San Francisco.

The tour guides (aka very accomplished paranormal investigators) were engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Napa's history and the paranormal. It was the perfect mix of spooky, fun, and fascinating -- we learned so much about downtown Napa along the way. We can't wait to do their Sonoma tour next and to watch the documentaries the tour leads are part of. Highly recommend!

Attendees become paranormal investigators during the tour, given several tools to track paranormal activity (spiritual dowsing rods, and a ghost hunting meter that measures electric signals (as ghosts give off electric signals). We made about 4-5 different stops that are either haunted or have affiliation with death, and Devin helped the group communicate with ghosts during some of the stops, combining storytelling with interesting historical events in Napa. We had a combination of skeptics and believers in our group, including at least one witch. I, of course, came for the entertainment, getting to talk about serial killers, learn a bit about history, and also get in a few laughs as Devin brings the humor as well. I did learn some new things, such as the difference between a ghost and a spirit, possible origins of the terms "lobbying" and "pulling my leg", and that Cole's Chop House (where my bf and I had dinner earlier that day) was formerly a mortuary. We ended at the courthouse, not where we started the tour, with the story of the last public execution in California which took place here in Napa. Overall, we had a fun time, and it's an unconventional way to tour the streets of Napa, and definitely enjoyable if you like ghost stories.
