I actually had to ask the masseuse to "use hands more to feel like more of a massage". To give context, I've had massages at..you name it.. all the local Auberge properties, 4 seasons, etc.. Perhaps the masseuse had a bad day or was trying a new technique, but this was bad. I was more wound up during and after the massage and simply was excited for the massage to end so I could use the amenities. (Amenities and onsite staff are the only reason I gave an extra star). Anyway, I called the spa and general manager to give feedback, but no one bothered to follow up or see how things could improve. Unsure if the message never made it their way or what, but quite a poor experience, again, given the apparent caliber.

Now, I was helped over the phone by a nice young lady, I am so sorry I can not remember her name. She literally was on the phone with me for ever, answering all my questions and very patient. When arriving there is a very long trail you will drive onto, and soon as we enter the gates we knew it was going to be everything and more, it was so beautiful and so well kept. There were little transporter vans, so cute... that drove us from our car in the parking lot... Once we arrived, we got checked in, and I actually was checked in by the young lady who set up our visit over the phone, so it was nice to put a face to a voice. Then she explained to us how are evening would go and then gave us a mini tour.. it was then time to change into our robes for our massage and I was helped by AMERICA- she is the most GENTLE SOUL .. I have ever met, she was so sweet.. I really enjoyed talking to her, she helped me with my locker and showed me around in the women's room. My partner was helped by a young man vice versa for the men's room. IT WAS TIME FOR OUR MASSAGES NOW- we got the couples massage and it was BOOOOOOM!!!! Let's just say this, this was the BEST MASSAGE I HAVE RECEIVED IN MY LIFE. Thank you to our therapist; Camryn and Laura =) Next we then booked the Springhouse, a little upset because we were not aware it closes at 6pm and it's booked on the hour.. and we did not get out of our massages till 515pm. and we didn't get over to the springhouse till 530pm.. so we really didn't get to enjoy the whole springhouse vibe and amenities... Non the less... I spoke to ERIANE, who was super sweet and told us, she will let us come back free of charge to enjoy this, since we did not get too. DEFINITELY, COMING BACK...
