Staff is bored and don't pay attention to you and they are rude. Then if your information is wrong you'll get a letter in the mail. I got my letter on day 10 and on the 15th day you'll get charged. I got my letter on Friday tried calling to fix this and they were closed. I tried updating my information online and the site says the information is wrong. How can a customer fix this with the information provided is "wrong" . Its very frustrating as a customer. I will not be going here anytime soon due to all these issues. I never had a problem with my insurance since its tricare but this business makes it difficult to do anything or to get ahold of them. read more

Went to the lab today expecting to pass out which I almost always do. I'm a hard stick and no one has been able to take blood from my arm in years. They always have to go with my hands which then makes me pass out. Not this time. This time Blanca took her time and made sure she knew exactly where the vein was and got it on the first shot. It was such a relief and made it the best experience I have had in years. Thank you Blanca. read more

I give this people the benefit of the doubt and I every time I go in the girls behind the desk are completely nasty and rude ! Today I've finally had and I'm going to contact the GM and corporate. When you go in they never say hi can I help you , They sit there waiting for you to say can you help me! No common sense or customer service skills . Then she tells me I don't have an appointment I show her my phone and she says well it still doesn't show here . And she continues to be rude instead of helping the customer and saying you can be a walk and sign in and it won't be long ! I say I will be a walk in because I'm already here ! In the mean time I see a old man trying to sign in . He obviously was having a problem hitting the correct button as a walk in . He's telling them as they sit on their lazy rude butts talking Spanish in which I understand.. finally a tech sees this she puts on a white coat comes out starts helping everyone ! Literally takes over and has excellent customer service . She signs the man in and greets everyone and cleans the dirty pens in the jar ! Then leaves to go draw blood . She was obviously not happy with that place . Thanks to pray I believe her name was . This is the Goodyear location on McDowell. I usually feel just a tiny pinch. Kayla hurt like hell. The older lady told me erroneous information. I am brand new to medicare/Blue Cross. She told me my Blue cross was my primary. Now I'm stuck with the bill. The only reason I gave 2 stars was I like the way you sign in and can watch when your name come up. read more

Rita freakin sucks!! I've had my blood drawn numerous times and it's never hurt until today!! She jammed the needle in my arm and applied pressure. When she saw the discomfort on my face she continued with drawing blood and not asking if I was okay. It was to the point where I was going to ask her to stop and try again. If you end up coming to this lab and get Rita ask for another technician because she'll seriously hurt you. I felt like the needle was going to go through the other part of my arm that's how hard she was pressing. I'll probably go to another Sonora Quest next time because she was horrible!! read more

I strongly advise people to avoid Sonora quest. They double charged me for blood draw claiming they supplied a lab kit, which I supplied. I have had lab draws from all over the country and these creeps are the only one that charged this 60 dollar fee. Avoid and go to labCorp instead. read more

I arrived five days ago for a series of bloodwork and the front desk informed me that one particular test was required to be drawn prior to 0900 - which it was past. They cheerfully said to get the other tests and simply come back. I returned today to be required another copay. This is misleading and inappropriate. Why would I have it in two parts for routine labs? Very disappointed in financial practices of this Sonora Quest. read more

I have gone to this location about 7 or 8 times over the past 6 months. There are a couple of employees that are wonderful and sweet, but I do have to say that the majority of the employees are on the rude side. I have never had an issue with blood work or paperwork here so that's a plus! I just really wish the employees would work on their customer service. read more

Every time i get blood drawn or an IV, no one can seem to find a good vein which leads me to almost passing out and poking me multiple times. I had Briana, let me tell you, she was INCREDIBLE !! super quick, painless, all the above. She found a vein immediately. Out of all the times I've ever done blood work, this was hands down the best experience I've had. Thank you so much Briana ! Also, I went here with no appointment on a Saturday, it was real busy but i didn't have to wait a long time. So they're really quick. Glad i chose to come to this location! This place is incredibly negligent when handling patients specifically when getting blood work. My wife went to get blood drawn they took 13 vials of blood (slightly higher draw than an everyday testing amount) with no issues. Typically when this much blood is taken it is customary to ask the patient if they are ok at the least. Nope. All they said was "all done your good to go", it is most common practice to hold someone for at least 10-15 mins after a draw of this nature. They didn't even bat an eye more did they ask if she was ok to leave. Upon leaving she trusted that the medical professionals knew what they were doing and began the 1.5 mile drive back to her office. 2 mins into that drive she started to get very light headed and nauseous. She quickly pulled into a gas station and passed out behind the wheel of her car. When she came to luckily there was a policeman getting gas next to her and she quickly asked him for help. She began throwing up for about 45 mins after. A whole scene of wasted resources (fireman and paramedics were called) when all this lab needed to do is actually care about their patients well being. When I called them to ask why they would let her go and not even ask if she was ok to leave they simply told me "well we draw more blood than that from people and they are fine" wow! Might want to cut bait and rehire staff that actually care about their jobs and the people who are in their care. read more

Worst front desk staff!!! My appointment was at noon and I've had to wait as long as 20 minutes before. I signed in at 11:55 and asked where the bathroom was. At 12:30 I asked how much longer and the woman said Oh do you have an appointment. I said yes I signed in and checked I had an appointment. She said well you didn't give us your paperwork. I said I don't have any it's electronic and usually you call me up and ask once I've signed in. I've been scolded in the past if I try to give paperwork before being called up. They made me wait for the last half hour for nothing. I asked what the point is of signing in if they don't look at the sheet. The front desk woman said we dont always see people when they sign in. I replied that I asked her where the bathroom was when I signed in. She just gave me a blank stare and no apology or anything. Three minutes later I was called for my appointment. I definitely avoid this location in the future. read more

I use this location all the time, as I have monthly blood draws. Today, as I was standing at the front desk, the phlebotomist came up front and said that he had something inappropriate to say. The man who was helping me stepped away, and the phlebotomist whispered in his ear! The front desk assistant turned around, snickering, and said he wouldn't repeat what he'd just heard. I believe it was in reference to a previous conversation that they'd had, but I felt uncomfortable. It was very unprofessional and inappropriate in the work setting. I then had the unpleasant experience of being called back by the same phlebotomist, who never spoke a word to me other than to say, "is this your correct name and birthdate?" No friendly conversation, no eye contact whatsoever, no "have a nice day." The whole experience was very uncomfortable. Hopefully, this phlebotomist will move onto another location. read more

Per my doctor's instruction, I took several stool specimins to the Goodyear Sonora Quest for drop off and analysis. I was seen by a young female tech with a somewhat Indian accent (I say this as she was NOT wearing a name tag for proper identification). She 'scolded' me for having one of my sample refrigerated (per my doctor's office instructions). She stated three times that it needed to be at room temperature and I replied three times that I was following my doctor's office orders to keep the sample refrigerated. Why would I do otherwise than my doctor's orders? She indicated that she would so note the doctor's order that I was following instructions, but that they want it at room temperature. I then told her to let it sit out and it would come to room temperature. I did not appreciate how rude and insistent she was when I was simply following my doctor's orders. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she sure put a damper on mine. Very rude and not at all consumer friendly. read more

This place has always given me great service. They are respectful and mindful. The ladies at the front desk are wonderful.

Their appointment policies need some serious scrutiny. The last three appointments have really disturbed me. My wife and I use the online appointment scheduling process to make them more efficient for them and us. We arrive at least 15 minutes before the appointment and sign in. Two previous times, 'walk ins' that arrived after us were taken before us. Today, my wife arrived at 1:30 for a 1:45 appointment. A person that had a 1:30 appointment that arrived at 1:50 was taken before her. Either of these were not proper customer treatment. When this was brought to the attention of the desk, they seemed to be totally nonchalant and didn't even apologize. Our time is important, too. This reflects a terrible customer attitude read more

We had a great experience here today! My 11 month old twins needed to get their blood drawn, it was easy to make an appointment and we got taken back in within 10 min of appointment time! Staff was friendly. The man who took their blood, (i wish I remembered his name) was AMAZING!!! He was so good with my boys and friendly! Made the whole experience that could have been a nightmare a breeze! Definitely will be back to this location next time! read more

This location held my health hostage by claiming I owed an outstanding balance from services rendered in 2011. They would not draw my blood until this invoice was paid. Funny...I always pay my invoices immediately and have been to multiple SonoraQuest locations since 2011 and no one has ever mentioned it before. Disgusted with SonoraQuest at the moment. The phlebotomist was a really nice guy, but Mama June at the front desk fleeced me for a made-up charge. Labcorp just gained a customer. read more
