Took our vehicle in to get serviced. Had a vacuum leak somewhere and got new tires put on. They fixed the vacuum leak. Took the vehicle home and my wife calls me saying the vehicle won't start sometimes and I thought that was weird so I checked the battery. "Seems" as if someone loosened the connectors on the battery terminal. We never tampered or messed with the battery and never had that issue before. A few more miles down the road our TPMS light turned on. Magically after getting new tires put on our sensors went bad on the tires and had to get new ones installed (another $600). A week later our tire is losing air and they accused my wife of running over a nail. Turns out one of the stems was damaged and we had to come out of pocket for that as well. TLDR. Went there with one issue, came back with multiple more. One of them could've ended up being more expensive if they decided they weren't going to tell the truth and I didn't look at it first. read more

It took over 2 hours to complete an oil change that was scheduled and I was first in line.

I wanted to do everything online and, on the phone, so I tried to order the car directly from the GM - Cadillac site. They recommended that I reach out to 4 dealerships that had a similar car of the one I build. Sons of Chevrolet Cadillac was the closest one from Atlanta, where I live. I sent them an e-mail straight from the Cadillac site and one of the salespersons contacted me the very next day. His name is Keith. He was easy to work with; just a very personable person. I ended up purchasing a 2024 Cadillac XT4 Sport. I've always purchased new cars and I've owned 6 so far. This was my very first American car. The previous 5 have been 2 Toyotas, 2 Hondas, and 1 Acura. So, the car was delivered to me on December 30th of 2023. Upon inspecting it, I found 2 scratches (1 was over 3 inches). We called the dealership and Keith told me they would have it fixed. I know, I should have gotten something in writing. My defense is that the entire process so far was seamless, and Keith came across so trustworthy, that I felt I could trust him. Feel free to call me stupid, like my co-workers! I want to warn people not do business with these dishonest people. They have managed to ruin the joy of the purchase. I will be warning people on every site that I can leave a review on this dealership. This will by my 1st of many reviews. I told him this was the only vehicle I was interested in and not to mention another car to me; I know how desperate car salesmen are. I called him to tell him I was on my way when he said, "do not come; the car is being serviced." I told him I would wait until the car is out of service. I typically do not write reviews but wow. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't bother scheduling a service appointment, apparently that's only an appointment to talk to the front desk girls who are rude and completely useless. I explained the issue with my car and they said "we can't do anything for that" (it's a big clunking noise). They offered no other help and didn't get a tech or manager to give me any advice either. They told me it would be hours before I could get a tech to even look at it because they were "backed up". If somewhere is unable to honor an appointment time, there should be a courtesy call BEFORE I get there to let me know so that I don't waste my time. read more

After numerous unpleasant encounters, I do not recommend getting your vehicle serviced at Son's. They are not trustworthy of your time, money, or business. Listed below are just a few of my experiences. Some, the same day. I wish I would've posted these sooner, as it may have helped others avoid this dealership. 1. I have been overcharged on at least one bill. Please always check your itemized invoices. I did not notice until I got home, and had to call them back to address it. See 2. 2. I was ensured by my advisor this day, a female staff member, that a brand new tire was put on my vehicle and was even told where it was placed. Got a call back from her later that they did not even put it on. I had to go back again for them to correct the mistake after already spending a great amount of time and money (thinking that they were completing everything I scheduled service for). I was compensated $30 off my next oil change. See 5. 3. I inquired about a tire and ordered one. Then, I was told the tire would be here by a specific date. That day came, I was told the next day. That day came, I was told the following week. I asked them to cancel the order. 4. I wanted to order a replacement part for my vehicle from wear and tear over the years. The customer service during this was awful from both parts and service department. It seemed as though neither wanted to deal with me as they were transferring me back and forth over the phone. So much so, I decided to take my vehicle to Glynn Smith. They helped me swiftly with no issues. The only downside is that they are about 45m away from Columbus. 5. I scheduled an oil change and got a notification about recommended additional services. Tire, brake pad, lug nut. Declined for this visit, but a few weeks later called to set up an appointment for the tire. I decided to go ahead and order 3 since it was about time for the others as well. Because of my history, I made sure to verify that the tires would be there the next day, Thursday. (I was persuaded by John, my most recent advisor, to "bring my vehicle on Thursday because they work with half their men on Saturdays. We can get you a ride to work with our shuttle service", see 6). I was ensured tires would be there the following day and the appointment was set for 8am. When I got there, I informed them to contact me if my car was done before 5pm, because surely it does not take all day to put on 3 tires and a few lug nuts. While I was there I overheard staff in the back say "I'm trying to make you as much money as I can!" to another. By 3:30 I decided to call to get a status update. I was informed at that time that the "wrong tires were ordered, but we have some on hand and we're trying to get them put on as soon as possible." By the time my vehicle is done... around 4:15pm, I get another notification about recommended additional services. Shocking. My advisor's attempt to getting me prompt service was counter productive. After the shuttle ride, I did not get back to the dealership to get my vehicle back until after 5:30pm. 6. The guy that shuttled me to work was very pleasant. I felt like I was in good hands as this was my first time using this service. The guy that picked me up from work was unprofessional. The shuttle vehicle should be equipped with GPS and hands free capability so the driver isn't constantly distracted by inputting addresses in his phone or stopping in the middle of the road to do so. Safety should be top priority. I had to assist staff with finding a location for another customer to be picked up. Excessive profanity is not ok, especially when staff thinks they can be relaxed with certain customers. read more

Randi B. has had zero contact with me while my vehicle was in for repair. I was told when I called on Monday 19th that my parts were in and my repair would take ONE DAY. I dropped my car off Tuesday around 9:30 AM and no one contacted me that day. I called later in the day to ask the status and was told "Randi is at lunch she will call you back when she returns." I did not get a call back Tuesday to tell me the delay. I called Wednesday around noon and was told the same thing. Randi is at lunch she will call you back. I called AGAIN on Wednesday at 2pm and apparently Randi must get a 2 hour lunch break because she was still at lunch at 2 pm. It was not until Thursday did I get any type of contact from someone at Sons. I did not get a call as I had requested more than once. I got a text message from some automated service saying my car would be ready to pick up Friday at 4 pm. I was informed via this automated text service there was a delay getting my parts even though on Monday I was told the parts are already in. I called just now at 3 pm to ask if my car would be ready as expected from the automated system quoting 4 pm pickup time. I was told NO it will in fact NOT be ready. I asked why I was not given a call or update when my car would not be ready at the stated pickup time and was told "You estimator Randi is not here today" SO essentially no one looked at my repair at all today to check on it and since Randi was out and did not tell me ahead of time the delay I will now be without my vehicle for an entire WEEK when I was told a simple one day repair. If it was going to take longer than one day I would like to know so I could have arranged a rental car instead of being jerked around all week without answers by your staff. read more

This was the worst dealership experience I've ever had. My husband and I drove 6 hours, AFTER asking the sales rep if the car had anything at all wrong with it. We were told that the car was 100% perfect before we drove and purchased a hotel room. After getting there, we realized that it had body lines that didn't match up. Then after driving it, realized that it had major front end damage that caused it to drive terribly. After confronting them, they told us that it's just a wheel alignment, until we asked for the CARFAX and noticed TWO accidents including front end damage. They continued to try and explain that it happened from a test drive where the customer went off roaring a hit a hard bump. So he knew about all the issues and decided not to tell us... I decided on a 2019 Nissan. Wayne never pressured me. I had to work for the next two days during that period They got my paperwork done and I returned on Wednesday. My time in the dealership was minimal .I returned and signed paperwork. There is a new general manager who in my opinion is perfect for working with the public. Billy Mreir. He was easy to talk to. Roger is one of the service department managers at Sons Chevrolet, and the biggest problem within that department. So incompetent/unprofessional that when I told him my problem of waiting for three days without a car diagnostic and his employees ignoring me upon my arrival, all he provided was excuse after excuse. That's when I told him that he was the problem. He didn't take that well. Told me "hope to never see you again". Then he refused to provide me a copy of a receipt as evidence that my car was there. I had to raise my voice to Roger, for him to understand that I meant business. I worked 15 years as a civilian (quality assurance) for the Department of Defense. Identifying and solving systems problem is my expertise. Roger is an old gentlemen who is on the comfort zone and believe he own the business. He is the problem for this business and it's reputation. Hands down the best sales experience I've ever had. We weren't pushed or pulled in any direction by Jose, our salesman. He listened to all of our needs and understood we were in a tight spot. We viewed and drove two used vehicles, but Jose could tell I was eyeing a new vehicle priced way outside our price range. He promised he could get us in the new vehicle with the payments we were asking. Obviously I took it as a sales pitch and told him we would come back when we received our tax return. He countered that by letting us take the new vehicle home and come back the next day. Which we did. These clowns said it would cost $169.00 to conduct a diagnostic on my car and for each check they performed, it would cost a $169.00. Fast forward, left my car overnight and I had to call to check on whether my car was ready for pick up. When I went to pick up my car, these clowns said they could not determine what was wrong with my car why it was hesitating and charged me $255.00 for a diagnostic and oil change. Bottomline, these clowns charge too much and they are out just to get your hard earned money. The post should ban soldiers from doing business with these clowns since they are out to only get your money. I see why there are no cars in the lot and the place has no business. Finally, these clowns not only did not check my tire pressure monitor, they disabled all four of them and now they are blinking on my dashboard. This review isn't really about the sales people or the way in which vehicles are sold. I am choosing to post this review because I strongly believe in the freedom of speech, and I feel that I have been treated unfairly. I became employed at this establishment as a temp a few weeks ago. Everything was going well, the girls I worked with were very sweet, and my boss was also very nice. Then one day out of nowhere, I get a call from the temp service saying that my assignment has been terminated. The reason, they claimed, was poor performance. This angered me very much, because all that my job required was to answer the telephone and transfer customers to the correct department, and to make popcorn. Literally, that was all. The entire time, my boss was constantly smiling in my face and telling me that I was doing a good job, but I guess behind the mask she wanted me gone. I'm dumbfounded as to what I did not do correctly. I was trained for just a few days before I was by myself. Of course I'm going to make mistakes until I learn it completely. And if I wasn't desperate for a job I wouldn't have taken this one to begin with. During the interview she told me she had been through a Litany of girls in the past x amount of days or weeks or whatever. That's a huge red flag. I just don't have a lot of respect for people that are fake. And she seemed to like me in the beginning so if I was making mistakes why didn't she just say something so I could work on it instead of expecting Perfection on day one, not getting it, and moving on to yet another person to train all over again. It's ridiculous. I wrote a review on Google and all I wrote was "toxic work environment". Someone, probably my ex boss, wrote some comment trying to defend the workplace, but I ignored it and then deleted my comment entirely. I just want to be heard that's all. And I won't take this down. And as I said, I'm not posting this to say anything bad about their business or anything like that. Just the fact that I was treated unfairly and some of the bosses up there are two-faced. My wife had to replace a tire due to an unfortunate incident, I wasn't available to go with her, and they outright lied to her and said the wheel was bent and she needed to replace it. I told her I was skeptical after she sent me some pictures, and asked to hold off for now. Low and behold, after taking it to 3 different wheel specialists for opinions, they all said nothing was wrong with it. If I didn't have my head on a swivel, we would have been out $1,000 for their lies and incompetence!! I have never encountered a more shady, or absolutely repulsive "place of business". Poor service! We pulled up and parked in front of the front doors to the show room. We were in a non Chevrolet vehicle. It took a while for us to get our children out of the car put them in stroller. While getting the kids situated the receptionist and I made eye contact twice! She was fully aware we were there. We proceeded to look at the trucks on the lot and were on the lot for a good 30-35 minutes. No one came over. Walked into the show room asked the receptionist a few questions and she was completely rude, not interested in us bothering her and continues texting on her phone. As we looked around the show room no one greeted us nor asked us if we needed help. After returning to the receptionist I asked her if this was how they treat customers? She gave me a blank stare and brushed us off. Only at that time a gentlemen approached us and apologize for not greeting or assisting us. This is NOT our first car, we're military and your commercials always enticing military to come through your dealership. Super unhappy with your receptionist. She's unprofessional, and never takes any initiative to greet. She IS the first person a customer sees and she should be the one to help get someone to assist! Wish I could give this dealership zero stars!!! Made a deal on a new truck that they were going to get at another dealership because they didn't have the color I wanted. Sales manager told us there was only one in the color and package we wanted within 300 miles. Told us the next day that the dealership that had the truck we agreed to wouldn't trade with them AND they mistakenly gave us a $1500 rebate that we weren't eligible for since we weren't financing with them.
