Good pricing along with good reviews, what did I have to lose? Our technician, Alberto, was professional, very thorough and took his time to do a good job. Admittedly, for the low cleaning/inspection price, I was expecting a laundry list of issues (upselling services); That was not the case at all! A few small issues were pointed out at the end of the inspection. There was zero pressure to get anything done. Alberto simply recommended correcting them at some point. I requested an estimate to repair and Alberto's pricing was very fair. Since he was prepared with all the materials needed in his truck, we were able to get it all done on the spot. When I looked at the estimate, it states a rain pan would cost at least 1500.00. Then there is ANOTHER fee for 189 that discusses cleaning and inspection. When I called they told me the 189 I paid was only for inspection, not cleaning even though the 2nd fee on my estimate states inspection AND cleaning. They then said the 189 that I zelled them (clearly because they have swindled people in the past and they know zelle is impossible to dispute) could only be applied to the rain pan and nothing else. So basically, I thought I paid them 189.00 (which the average cost is about 100 btw) to inspect and clean my chimney, but really it was for a person to spend 5 min looking and my chimney and fly a drone over my chimney. His work has completely gone downhill, and he clearly has major issues finishing jobs. Most recently, he scammed me out of $470. He promised to order my logs, and weeks later--nothing. First, it was a bunch of excuses, and now he has completely vanished. Worse? He blocked all my phone numbers. There is something seriously wrong here. It's clear he is using customers' money for something else because this pattern of delays, excuses, and disappearing acts is constant. DO NOT pay him upfront. DO NOT hire him. If you ignore this warning, expect to get ripped off. To make matters worse, he also did logs for my friends (who I had originally recommended him to), and they arrived broken.
