This was a key factor as our recently purchased home has required numerous services and repairs. Cha-Ching! Though I may be frugal, I am still mindful about quality. Good pricing along with good reviews, what did I have to lose? Our technician, Alberto, was professional, very thorough and took his time to do a good job. Admittedly, for the low cleaning/inspection price, I was expecting a laundry list of issues (upselling services); That was not the case at all! A few small issues were pointed out at the end of the inspection. There was zero pressure to get anything done. Alberto simply recommended correcting them at some point. I requested an estimate to repair and Alberto's pricing was very fair. Since he was prepared with all the materials needed in his truck, we were able to get it all done on the spot. I have an enclosed gas stove in my bedroom and a gas fireplace in the living room. They were installed about twenty years ago and had never been serviced. Alberto and Miguel showed up right on time and had the stove apart in five minutes. They cleaned and polished it. Vacuumed out the accumulated dust and reset the logs. It looks brand new. The same result for the fireplace. The care taken to protect the floor was perfect. Drop clothes were used and every speck of dirt was carefully vacuumed. Both units were carefully checked for leaks, the stove pipe was scoped for cracks and the cap on the roof was inspected. They even checked the pipe through the attic. I had these guys come out to clean and inspect my wood burning stove that I have used for years. They did come out and clean it and took before and after pictures, told me the problems with the unit and showed me rust that was inside it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have yet to receive my report, as of writing this it's only been about a day and a half.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The reason for the low rating is once they told me about the problems I asked for a quote to get these things fixed and they told me that don't do ANY of that kind of work! So I paid $300 plus to have a cleaning and inspection, and now I'll have to pay another company to come out and clean/inspect my unit, plus have the needed repairs made. I would not have used this company if I would have known that they could not do any work on the unit. They did what appears to be a good job cleaning it, and cleaned up after themselves so Im not saying they are not good for that one service. But I also don't think they are licenced or insured or bonded or anything like that. So buyer beware. I wish i had done a better job of hiring a more professional company that can do everything needed. Now Ill be paying another company to finish what they started. read more
