The pressure fits our preference and they are willing to make adjustments to suit the clients needs. Their massage is thorough, going from head to toe and they focus on areas that may be tighter than others. They also add hot stones for no additional charge, which is atypical. There are businesses that will upcharge hot stones, oils, etc, but Oasis has it all included. This business has nice soothing music while getting a massage, it's very spacious and gives couples or individual massage. On multiple occasions I made an appointment through the website and then received a follow up email stating that the scheduled time cannot work on their end. I ended up not being able to get a prenatal massage before giving birth but went for a massage about three months after I had my baby. When I booked, I told them that my certificate was for a 90 prenatal massage, but I'd be using it on a 60 min regular massage. Prior to the massage I inquired how I would be compensated for the difference in either time or money as the prenatal 90 minute massage was significantly more of a cost than the massage I received. After taking my gift certificate at the time of payment, I was told I needed to email the owner for the difference in time. In my communication with the owner, she then decided to tell me the gift certificate was for a one time use only and I would receive nothing as a credit. I respectfully tried to explain that I wasn't looking for money back, but some form of credit towards an additional massage. She was rude and disrespectful to me via email and essentially stole my boyfriend's money knowingly ahead of time. If this was the outcome, she should have indicated it ahead of time when I originally inquired. She waited for me to use the certificate at approx 60% of its value before telling me I would not have any credit towards another massage. I would not recommend this practice to anyone moving forward.

I prefer Swedish massage but occasionally needed lymph drainage or more medical massage due to workout injuries and she always delivered--light pressure, deep pressure, she does it all! She seems to be one of those people who is a lifelong learner, so when I would ask about a technique or something to assist, she was always consulting books and colleagues in between our sessions and improving her craft. Plus, her professionalism is superb--she always confirmed my massages, ensured we had a good schedule, and communicated clear expectations about what to expect and cost. The price is perfect--it's just enough to where I believe she is being fairly compensated for her work, low enough to where I can afford it 2x/month, and she did not nickel and dime me ($10 for hot stones, $5 for essential oils), like some other places. Her goal seems to be to treat the person's needs and works in a wide range of skills and tools. The ambiance is nice, too. It's on the second floor of an office building, so it has that office feel outside. But in her room, it's organized, and has elements to adjust to your comfort--various lighting, temperatures, and blankets.

The rooms are also on the smaller side, so if you go during peak hours, it's definitely more "crowded" than "calm." I grew up in Smithfield and started coming here the year that Krista opened---5 years ago!!! Now, I live in Westerly, which is AN HOUR DRIVE and I commute 2 hours every 2 weeks just for my lashes!!!! And I literally have no regrets because the product is so worth it. I go to Krista, the owner, but Kaitlyn is just as amazing, my best friend went to Kaitlyn and was just as impressed with her work! Krista is so professional, clean, friendly and considerate of your concerns and issues. During the spring time, I have really bad allergies and Krista has come in early and stayed late whenever I have asked her to do so. Krista also goes over the entire lash products with you when you are a first time client; I had 100 questions and then some, and she was so patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. I have let my fake lashes fall off completely, to make sure that my real lashes were still there and they are healthy, strong and completely in tact, there is absolutely no damage. In fact my eye doctor complimented my lashes and said that they were the best extensions he had ever seen! I love the salon so much and feel so comfortable with Krista that I also get my hair done here now too! Recently, my grandfather passed away and Krista was so compassionate that she came in two hours early to make sure that my mom's color was done and she was able to relax and be pampered before the wake and funeral.
