I had a molar that had previously had a root canal and started developing biting/pressure…read moresensitivity. It turned out there was an infection under the tooth and that the prior root canal could be improved. I saw Dr. Machado at Cherry Creek Endodontics, and he did a great job. During the evaluation, he walked me through the 3D X-ray, explained what he was seeing, discussed the infection and the condition of the prior root canal, and laid out my options clearly. I really appreciated that level of transparency and explanation. They were also able to do the retreatment immediately after the evaluation, which I was very grateful for. Dr. Machado took extra steps to help give the tooth the best chance possible, including placing medication/calcium in the tooth before permanently sealing it. They did this twice before the final sealing, which made me feel like they were being thorough and careful rather than rushing the process. It is still too early to know whether the tooth will ultimately make it, but I feel very good about the care I received. They made me as comfortable as possible during each procedure, and the numbing was highly effective every time. My only complaint is that the pain the first night after the initial procedure was unbearable, and I was only advised to take Tylenol and ibuprofen. I got essentially no sleep that night, although it improved after that. I understand this may be standard practice now that stronger pain medication is less commonly prescribed, but I would have really appreciated even a very small short-term option to help me sleep the first night or two. That said, everything else about the experience was excellent, and I do not feel right taking off a star for that. I'm grateful for the care, skill, and responsiveness of Dr. Machado and the team.

Natalie and Lilly are hands-down one the best hygienists I've ever had. I've been coming to Dr…read more Rosso's office for about five years, and both Natalie and Lilly have consistently been thorough, gentle, and extremely professional. What I appreciate most is the honesty: no pressure, no exaggerated treatment plans, and no "mystery cavities." Dr. Rosso and the team take a conservative, common-sense approach and explain things clearly. They've also helped fix issues from failed repairs done by other dentists, and the difference in quality is obvious. Highly recommend this group.

My first visit to this practice was several months ago for a cleaning. Although I have scheduled a…read moresecond cleaning for later this month, I am undecided about whether to cancel the appointment and seek a new dentist. I came to the practice as a transfer from my dentist Dr. Lee. He left the state and his patients were referred to Aspen. I was assigned to Dr. R. I can't comment on the quality of care as this was just a cleaning, but I was mildly surprised when the dentist appeared before the cleaning and not after. I don't know if my 60 plus years of being a dental patient are atypical, but in all that time the dentist always checked out my teeth after the cleaning. OK, so maybe not a big deal. But strange. Worse, however, was Dr. R's chairside manner. Maybe he was in a hurry or having a bad morning. I can't say. However, I was stunned when he appeared, inspected my mouth and left all without as much as a "good morning". He never introduced himself to me!!!!! We had never met. I was new to the practice. Yet, he literally never acknowledged me as a person or a new patient. Honestly, I do not understand the complete breakdown of normal interpersonal skills. I wasn't expecting to swap personal anecdotes or a touchy feely discussion of feelings. However, common courtesy would dictate a greeting and a welcome to the practice. I might give them a second chance but won't give a third one unless things improve. If it were not such a hassle switching dentists, I honestly might not be returning.
