I had a really disappointing experience here. The technician was kind and polite, but unfortunately he didn't listen to my concerns throughout the appointment. I had to repeatedly ask for corrections because the pedicure wasn't being done properly. Instead of doing the basic pedicure maintenance--like removing the dead skin around my toes and cleaning them up--he just kept applying more hard gel. Even the other employees seemed to notice something was wrong because I kept pointing out issues with my nails. I also paid an extra $10 for exfoliation, but he spent most of that time exfoliating my legs while I was asking him to please focus on my feet, where I still had a lot of dead skin that hadn't been removed. Despite bringing up my concerns several times, I was still charged the full price. I appreciate that he was friendly, but the quality of the service didn't match what I paid for. Today was my first time visiting. The kindly owners Tom and wife Helen couldn't have been better. They assigned me to an exceptional man named Tim. Frankly, I've never had such a soothing, calm and excellent pedicure and will surely be back. Tim just oozed calm, gentleness, goodness and peace. He did an excellent job and his massage was strong and restorative. He deeply felt my positive feedback and I can tell he cares deeply from his heart. Awful job. They got gel x all over my fingers and I kept asking her to clean it up even the nail polish because it practically was all over my finger rather than just the nail. She gave me such an attitude and I spent 2 hours at home cleaning it up. Terrible would not recommend. read more

$30 for basically just polish - no massage, no effort, felt ripped off. Staff were friendly at first. But with our super short toenails, they barely had to do anything - no filing, no tools really used. We brought our own polish and they applied it fine. The big issue: absolutely no calf or foot massage/ rubbing whatsoever. Not even lotion rubbed in. For $30, that's unacceptable!! Every basic pedicure we've ever had includes at least a short calf/foot massage to make it feel like a treat. Total rip-off! When my friend suggested they file her big toe a little, they started speaking in a foreign tongue back and forth for a bit which felt off if not Rude!! Besides that they were nice people, but the service was bare-minimum and overpriced. Skip unless you're in a huge rush and just need color on your toes. Lastly (just for giggles) the final blow upon leaving we noticed the nail technicians were just sitting around gabbing with each other! The lady doing my nails cut my skin, started to bleed, so she put some weird looking liquid on it and continued like it was no big deal. My nails also came out uneven, nail polish all around my skin and the shapes of each nail is different. On top of that, extremely overpriced. I regret coming here and do not recommend. Please save your money and go somewhere else. Now i'm monitoring my infected nail. It's next day and it's red and swollen. You better hope it goes away and doesn't get worse. I have been going to Milan nails for 4?years. I like that not everyone knows about it. I have tried a variety of other salons, but they consistently do great job! Beautiful work, sanitary, no need for appointment, work is professional, they work quickly, listen to your needs and they are VERY nice. Helen is amazing with gel extensions and much more. Kim is excellent for pedicures. TVs on but sound off so relaxing or social vibe, depending what you want. I love them! read more

Started really well. My husband and I came in for mani/pedi. The pedicure went great. Then when it was finished, instead of starting our nails the technician walked away to start someone else. I said we were also getting manicure she said she had forgot and came back. The manicure was insanely rushed. I actually had to tell her that my clear polish was still on before she started painting them. She did the polish so thick that they never dried. So by the end of the day they were completely chipped and smugged. Plus, the technician doing my husbands nails cut him. To top it off we were charged $20 extra for callus removal and a 10 minute leg/foot massage. I believe this should only have been $15 but we just paid and didn't question it. read more

AVOID- BAD PEOPLE I used to be a loyal client coming in monthly with my daughter- when asked what I would like for my birthday by a friend I said a gift certificate to Milan nails. My friend said she called it in - I came in for my manicure and pedicure and ask for Helen. I thought Moon had did a good job on my feet - she had removed a lot of dead skin with something that looked like a cheese grater. During the appointment I was very relaxed and I thought I had spotted a Neosporin bottle being pulled out but wasn't sure. I am allergic to Neosporin! In any event, by time i got home my foot itching. This morning I decided to take a photo so I could see why its itching. and found out that I had been cut. Therefore, it was probably Neosporin that I did see. I should have been told I was cut and asked about using Neosporin!!!!!! The cut is very red & angry (see photo) which could be from mine being allergic to Neosporin. Whereas I thought this would be my new favorite salon, I now know to stay away! I've been there twice for a manicure, one for gel and after 3 weeks I went back to get them redone, they've filed my nails down so much that I asked them not to do gel anymore, my nail bed was pink, that's how thin they filed my nails down. Now my nails are cracking and super thin. Waiting for them to grow out and I'm using something to strengthen them. Not coming there ever again! I have never left a review ever, but after yesterday, I felt that I needed to share my experience in case anyone was looking to go. I had a great first experience at Milan Nail Salon about a month ago, which is why I decided to return. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. From the moment I sat down, it felt like they were rushing to get my appointment over with. The nail technician drilled my natural nails down so aggressively that it started burning. When I spoke up, she brushed it off as if it was nothing. I also pointed out that one of my nails was split and asked her to file it down, but she insisted the polish would hold it together. Now, just a day later, I can already tell that was not the case. On top of that, one of my nails was left significantly shorter than the rest, from them filing, and when I brought it up, they just laughed and continued on. The final result was disappointing--several nails weren't fully painted on the sides, and there are noticeable bubbles in the gel polish. For $55, I expected much better quality and service. I rarely ever speak up about issues, so the fact that I did and was completely ignored makes me not want to come back. read more

I've done a better job painting my own toes. I miss the salon that was there before it, it's the only reason I went there was because I didn't realize it changed hands. My nail technician kept pulling at my big toes to where I flinched several times. Also $32 for a regular pedicure? My manicures also never have breakage or chipping of the polish, as they used to at other salons. Staff follows all COVID and safety standards. During the pandemic, Helen was kind enough to come to our house with a mask and gloves to give several family members of mine pedicures! Just spent $130 to get my nails done and I'm not even smiling. I don't get my nails done very often, and this was such a bad experience I see that I'm better off not. First, all the technicians laughed at me for not understanding them. It wasn't nice. Second, I made an appointment for dip and was pressured to get gel. I HATE the way the gel looks, it is so thick and one of my nails isn't even well shaped. Also the gel procedure made my hand burn I actually said Ow Ow several times. And lastly I came in requesting a nail repair, my tech told me she "knows how to fix that" but she just cut my nail off completely, like yes, I can also cut off my entire nail myself. I don't like this place and it's too bad because it's the closet salon to me. I don't think I deserve I get to laughed at and upsold because I don't come in very often. They were nice I guess, especially the lady that did my pedicure. they all put in the time to clean and prep my nails well, more than most place which I really liked. I just wish they were willing to put in more time and listen more when I was showing them what design I wanted.
