SIGH does not take reservations (first come, first served) but we had no trouble snagging a prime spot at the bar on a Friday afternoon. Morgynne was our server and super knowledgeable, giving detailed descriptions of wines we tried, and was patient with us, taking our sweet time enjoying our glasses and documenting our visit. I had the Champagne Flight ($35) and the #YEShusband had the Rosé Flight ($25). The Champagne flight included pours of: Champagne G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon Brut, Champagne Monthuys Brut, and Champagne Château de Bligny Grande Réserve. The Rosé flight included pours of: Cuvée Françoise, Langlois Brut Rosé, and Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé. We also ordered some additional post-flight glasses of the Schramsberg Mirabelle Blanc de Blancs and Lucien Albrecht Brut Rosé to cap off our time at SIGH. Hokkaido Scallop Cured in Kombu: The French Laundry Culinary Garden Hakurei Turnips, Buttermilk, Kaffir Lime. Don't let the fancy ingredients and name scare you! It basically was a bit crunchy & a bit salty, other than that nothing of note for me at least. I get the price to an extent as it's not day to obtain, but man, it's expensive for what you get, not just here but any place you buy it. Probably a one time thing for me. The other item we got was one of their paninis & salads to share, and some waters. They've basically got a bar top, and most people seem to order their frozen machine drinks. Bill should be embarrassed The reservation details that explain the apartment building's call box aren't provided until after you book the reservation and pre-pay (red flag). It's no wonder Bill employs a strict no refund policy, how else could he bait and switch? I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company, but don't worry about Bill, he says Tock will just give him the money back. It's almost like he's been through this before!
