Food was good but I wouldn't rate it excellent. I had the pesto and it was not quite as flavorful as I expected. My wife's salad was very flavorful. Bread for the table was good. Service was good. Waiter returned often to fill drinks and replenish bread. Ambiance - nice restaurant. If you are wondering where all the customers are, they have a large outdoor seating area. Parking lot was full but tables were open so it didn't make sense. They had a singer that was using amplification. Not quite sure he needed it for that space but he had talent. read more

Waitress very nice. Menu same as Victoria's. We've eaten at Victorias for years. I was a bit disappointed today when my lasagna came & Sorellinas apparently do not put meat sauce on top of it. It was good but definitely the meat sauce is what makes the dish. Normally st Victoria's the sauce is covering the lasagna on top & if you have leftovers, they usually ask if you would like more sauce added to it again. I guess I could've asked the waitress about it, but I just figured it must not come that way at this restaurant like the other one. read more

The place is nice and the staff accommodating but the menu is small compared to its sister location. We were disappointed in the scarcity of choices and honestly the food was just ok. We won't be back but will instead go to Victoria's when in town. read more

My wife and I arrived last Friday at 4:45 PM and asked for a booth for dining. After a quick glance at each other, the three young hosts stated "all the booths are reserved". (again, it's 4:45). While taking us back to the large dining room we noticed several of the booths were empty. In the back, we were shown to a round table for 5-6 people (there are two of us) near the servers area and beside the bar. We asked for a different table and were told "all are reserved" and the question was "dismissed". There were two other couples currently dining in the large room. We ordered and were served in a timely manner (remember, there were few other patrons there at that time but those that were arriving were going outside) We finished our dinner sitting side by side at a large round table and asked for the check. We would have asked for drinks and desert but really felt they wanted us to leave. After receiving the check and recommended 30 -25 -or 20% tip I also noted they were charging a 3% service charge on the meal (included in the total for the tip -double dipping in my book). All and all it was a disappointing experience. When leaving at 5:45 we noticed one other table of six had arrived in our dining room while the other parties had left. Yes, there were empty booths :(. Visited here for Easter brunch today. Loved the atmosphere and vibe of the indoor patio space that we were seated in. Pros: Again, bright and open space -- and friendly staff. We received two entrees free because one came out late and one was not cooked correctly. Cons: the waitress (although nice) was not attentive throughout our visit. She didn't offer us a second cocktail and the food took forever -- although it was quiet and the restaurant was not busy. The food was mediocre. Most of our entrees came out luke warm. One came out way later than than rest, so he ate alone. Another came out way overcooked so we had to reorder the steak and he ate later than the rest of us. Not sure brunch is their thing, but we will revisit for an evening of pasta and wine at some point. read more

We went in at around 1pm on a Saturday - Jojo was our server, and he took great care of us. Our drinks stayed full, he had great menu suggestions for us, plates were promptly cleared, and he was professional and attentive the whole visit. The food was delicious - all three of us were pleased with what we received. Portions were generous, and everything was served piping hot - We shared some salted caramel cheesecake for dessert - and that was the only part of the meal that wasn't perfect. The chocolate ganache that the cheesecake was topped with was so thick that we couldn't cut through it without smashing the cheesecake. The dessert was delicious - just too much chocolate to break through. Best part of the experience was how well we were taken care of - hats off to Jojo for a wonderful time at Sorellina's. read more

It was ok. Came on a Sunday for a late lunch and with all the open tables we literally were sat next to the door. Weird but fine. I ordered mushroom passion and the presentation was lacking for sure but it was good. Not amazing. I did not want meat in it but alas there was chicken. I like chicken but I did not order it. It was obvious that they added in error and made efforts to remove but missed quite a few pieces. I was not charged so there is that. It was so rich that more than a few bites was a commitment. I reheated next day and the butter that was separated from sauce was epic. Now I know why only a few bites is necessary. My friend ordered a salad and said she liked it but left more than half behind. I would go again if someone really had their heart set on it but not likely on my own accord. Give it a shot. I kind of put off our first experience here, waiting for the honeymoon to end. Here in Rochester, the first few months a new establishment opens, it's always packed. I drive by here going home from work every day, and it seems the honeymoon was never going to end, or it was just awesome. So we decided to take a run at it last weekend. I ordered the chicken Marsala, and she got the mushroom passion. We both love mushrooms, so that choice was a no brainer. I make chicken Marsala at home, and was hoping for something awesome. Unfortunately, both dishes were a disappointment. Neither dish looked appetizing, they were just, well, brown. The chicken in the marsala was really strange. Pieces were all different sizes, some small, some larger, some super tender, some could have been used to re-sole my work boots. I'm thinking that the sauce on both were the same stuff, and both tasted like the alcohol hadn't been burned off and just tasted of raw wine. We only ate a bit of each a took the rest home, but neither of us wanted to give it another try, so it went in the dumpster. Maybe our bad luck was because it was Sunday mid afternoon and there was no one in the kitchen with experience? Who knows. All I know is, we're reluctant to try again and throw away another $50. read more

I just ate lunch here for the first and last time. While the design and ambience are lovely, the food is not. We started with the calamari which was edible but over salted. I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon. Unlike the calamari the salad had almost no salt or flavor whatsoever. I don't actually know what the poor excuse for Caesar dressing that covered the lettuce was, but it honest to god felt like they poured milk over the salad, grated some Parmesan over it and called it a day. Literally, the dressing had the consistency of milk. My husband had the sausage and pepper pasta, which was also edible. But again the sauce was too watery. They also broke the noodles in half, which any decent Italian will tell you is a sin. read more

Honestly disappointed with both the service and the pricing. Got a steak that was way overly salty and served the wrong wine (we let that one go because she seemed clueless) and the server was never anywhere to be found, all the tables around us were constantly checked on and we got our server maybe 3 times all together and we were bigger group which brings to the last point, 22% large party charge which is fine if the service was worth it but the service was horrible especially adding the 3% health on top of that. read more

This is a review for those going who are gluten free. The regular food the table got looked to be very traditional both in presentation and how it was cooked. (I wish I wasn't gf for the record... but it's not a choice I have). The gluten free roll came out steaming and soggy wet (and very late). I asked how they prepared it and he said he just nukes it (it was obviously frozen) so of course it deteriorates as you try and handle it if you can handle it at all. The server made a comment that they usually come out frozen in the center, like that made me feel better. We were there for 60-90 minutes and the water wasn't even refilled once despite being drained in 10 minutes. I would have asked for a refill but he didn't come by to even drop off the main entrees--back staff did it, and when he did ask about the food we were wrapping up. We ordered cocktails which were very good and came out quickly but after fifteen minutes when they were gone... or any other time, he didn't ask if we would like another which we each would have had more (it was a birthday dinner). I ordered a build-your-own gf pizza. It came out looking great, but it was clear the crust they were using was also frozen and they topped it with cheese and peperoni before running it through a belt or something because the crust had less structural integrity than the dinner roll. By the second piece you couldn't hold it as a slice and I finished it with a fork (who likes pizza with soggy crust that falls apart)? The server was kind and understanding when I asked about things, and explained that they were short staffed, which they looked to be so it wasn't like I didnt tip. Although, and im not positive, when putting in the tip, it STARTED at 20%--bad form guys--and I had to hit the small button on the side to select another option and gave 15% which came out to 11 dollars or so for a service he was barely there for--flame away). Would not recommend for those that are gluten free. A day later and I didn't get sick or anything (granted all I ate was a piece and a half of pizza) so there's that. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff friendly. The food was very good. However, our dining experience was less than satisfactory due to the number of flies (large and small). We were swarmed by them. The waitress offered to move us to another booth - but it was no better. By the end of the meal they were so thick they were crawling on our bread and getting into our drinks. We decided then that it was time to go. Disappointed, was looking forward to a nice meal out but this experience was like ants spoiling a picnic. read more

We went out for date night they put us in the party room. poorly designed room way too loud asked to move and all they offered was the bar, three people behind the bar and it was still filled with dirty glasses and a mess. we got the seafood pasta it was obviously frozen and over cooked and we got a pizza that was raw in the center.
