There was no line when I went on a random week day, so I was helped very quickly. The only thing that I would make a comment on was that there was parking in the front of the building, but you would need to walk to the warehouse entrance on the right side to off-load and separate recyclables. I wish that there was a car off-loading zone, so you don't need to push a large plastic bin to your car and back for the weighing. Their rates for recycling was fair and up to county standard. I definitely would return again for my recycling needs!

I did double check the hours on their website on Saturdays and it's noted they close at 1:45 pm. Place was pretty easy to get to and the parking wasn't too bad. Once you turn into the parking lot, there is a sign telling where to park. When I was there, it was a bit busier, but these guys work very fast. I was able to go grab the sorting cans and gather my recycling. The staff there were very friendly and professional from the guys weighing your items to the cashier. I wasn't sure about certain items, but they explained how to sort certain ones and which ones can't be recycled. My trip there was the fastest for any recycling place I've ever been to. NEVER have I only got that. I usually have the same amount every time I go, because once my containers are full at home, I usually get between 65 and 80 78 dollars. I take them in. So I was going to ask if there was a drastic change in prices at window, but it was like the girl heard us talking about in on camera because as soon as I put ticket down, she grabbed it and said " I will be right back" we waited for about 3-5 minutes she finally comes back and says "sorry about the wait, but I saw you were not credited correctly, your new total is 74.56" I said oh good because I was going to ask why it was much lower than normal, but ho did that happen? She said " sometimes, they rush and punch in whatever." We left having even more questions. How or why are they " just able to punch in whatever they want?" Isn't it all computerized? Aren't they supposed to weigh our items and whatever the weight is, is what should be printed out? This has me concerned they are not weighing honestly? Is this suspicious?

If you have a lot of volume, I believe there's coupons that come in the mail to get more money for your recycles. So I did a research of scrap metal recycling and Mike's was the go to place. I had never been there before. So after I disassembled the old grill and boxed it for easy transport in the bed of my Truck. I headed to the location. Now here's where the semi confusion happened. During this process I learned that Mike's has two locations, the one off of Main street is strictly for recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans. The other location on Broadway is for scrap metal. It's a good size building and it looks very clean. When I pulled up there are white arrows that direct you where to go, basically you pull into the building they will show you where to park. After I pulled in and parked., got out of my truck they were already pulling up trash bids to put the grill parts in for me. All I did was lower my tail gate and positioned the parts and they did the rest. For me this was so convenient , simple and valuable because I didn't waste my time driving in circles looking for a place for disposal. As I always say if you need a place to recycle try Mike's you may just like it.

A younger Guy came out to my car and helped me. 1 st (warning sign) no other Customers. He rushed up to the scale and another man hurried up and took the trash can away from me and put it on the scale. Next thing you know I look up at the current weight and it said ? 8.6. that is all I know. When the man rushed to give me my money, it was 55.5 in weight and $ 5.61 cents. The other person went in the back and i did not see him again. Nothing was said and the original person hoped back on his cell phone. I got in my car and said to myself "I think I was taken advantage of". I will never take my recyclables here again. I take responsibility I should have said Hold Up Here, and wait until I see this numbers. But, within a second my recyclables were dumped out of the trash cans and off the scale.
