He is extremely knowledgeable and does very precise and careful work. He has meticulous attention to detail and is very respectful of the home, putting down drop cloths and plastic to protect furniture and counters. He keeps the work area very clean and tidy, and really cares about and takes pride in his craft. Rocco was absolutely amazing. I recently bought a vintage condo that needed work. The unit was filled with ugly oak colored trim and dirty white walls, and Rocco completely transformed the place by painting it head to toe. Painting the trim white made the biggest transformation IMO - looks like a completely different space. Not only did he make the trim look great by painting, he also meticulously filled in the wood before painting. I can't say enough about his prep work on both the trim and walls. He painted every wall in the condo, including ceilings. I loved that he only uses the best paint (Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore). He and his assistant were always on time and left the place SPOTLESS. So clean and I could tell really cared and respected your space and belongings. I actually allowed him to keep my house keys as the lockbox kept freezing the week he was here. That's how trustful he was. He was also competitively priced compared to other painters I talked to, but be assured that what you pay for is not what you get in this instance. I'm a real estate broker, and had the seller chose to invest the $ to paint the unit before she put it on the market, I'd expect she would've got $10K+ more for it as that's how much better it looked after Rocco was done. Utter joy and happiness envelops me as I wake up. I see beautiful colors, crisp lines, and the walls of my dreams. No longer do I see cheap, flat, ugly yellow/brown paint. A year ago I purchased a new apartment. Like most builders these days, the skimped on the paint quality. They used just primer on the ceiling and the least durable paint imaginable. The paint dissipated with water. It was a nightmare. Enter Rocco and Soroni painting. I requested quotes from other painters. Rocco was fairly priced and timely. He was extremely responsive to my questions. Rocco's attention to detail in both painting and caring for my belongings was appreciated. He took time to move large furniture items and cover everything. When he worked on the kitchen, he rolled the plastic up before he went home each night so I could access the refrigerator, cabinets, and stove. After he completed each area, he vacuumed up the mess and moved the furniture back to its original position. Before he started painting any area, he inspected all the walls and patched all holes. The project took a little longer than expected due to the inability of the paint to dry as quickly in the lower level rooms because of the humidity. Instead of rushing the second coat, he patiently waited a couple of days so that bubbling would not occur. Both Rocco and his assistant were great to work with.
