Gabby (pretty sure that was her name) and Jenna were super helpful explaining all the jewelry available and what kind of aftercare treatment would be needed as this was my first piercing in a long time. The actual piercing process was probably the quickest part of the whole operation, I'd say it took 5 minutes tops and barely hurt more than popping a pimple. Sadly I don't live in the area so I won't be able to visit to get my piercing resized, but they were really great and I definitely reccomend them to anyone looking for quality piercings!

Unfortunately, the outcome of my final tattoo was extremely disappointing. During the session, my skin was overworked significantly, which resulted in multiple scars. I have never gotten scars from any other tattoo. During the healing process I had an open wound in the center from my skin being dug into. There are also major inconsistencies in the black ink saturation throughout the piece, so much so that parts are fading out. The tattoo itself ending up not following the reference, as a lot of the lines are shaky, the center of the flower lacks definition, and the petals are not cohesive. I understand that tattoo artists can become exhausted, especially during long sessions, which is why I wish I was firmly told to come back another day. If an artist is too tired to give a piece their full attention and care, it would be far better to firmly reschedule for another day rather than continue working while fatigued. This experience genuinely impacted my confidence and how I feel about my body, which is really upsetting because my goal with tattoos is to feel more in tune with myself and style. Unfortunately, the outcome has led me to begin the tattoo removal process, which is both emotionally and financially stressful for me and is about to cost me a lot more than this tattoo.

All staff are women which was really nice. The only thing I didnt adore was that to get to the restroom you had to pass by the lobby, and given when getting tattooed you arent always fully clothed It was a little awkward.

The shop itself is great. Bright and clean and everyone supports the running of the business and I thought I found a place to stay with for years to come. I did nine tattoos with her and along the way and I thought I had built up a nice level of trust and respect. I thought I was a better than average tipper and did my very best to follow her rules for communicating and discussing my designs. In March I was all set to do my tenth tattoo. It was going to be a surprise to show my niece and nephew at a mid-May party. I went in for a consult and reviewed my design and gave my deposit. She mentioned she had idea(s) for the stars in my design and that night I asked her to send me some to review. (This was about two months before my appointment.) I followed up a couple of weeks later and she tells me how busy she has gotten with new customers, how much pressure she is under, but she'll see about getting me something "in a few days." I told her no worries, take a month. I just need it a couple of weeks before my appt so I can review it. Unfortunately, I never received anything from her. Ultimately I had to contact her to cancel my appointment because I didn't have the designs she promised. There were a lot of excuses, but she didn't really try to make it right or find a mutually workable solution. I'm truly saddened because I think she's a fantastic artist ( I had her tattoo her logomark on me I liked her work so much), I thought we had a really good working relationship, and I hoped this would be a long partnership.
