I showed up five minutes after they opened, on a Monday, and the parking lot already had more than 10 cars, so I was worried I would have to wait. When I got inside, I counted 4 people manning the counters, and 7 customers. I waited less than five minutes to be called to the counter, and Ida (not sure of the spelling) the agent was very pleasant and efficient. I was there to get an international driving policy, and Ida filled out my forms, took my payment of $36, took my two passport photos, and I was out the door in about 20 minutes total. I look on the web and found out that any AAA can provide the proper licenses needed to get in the drivers seat. Did you know there is a scaled down US DMV at AAA - Smithtown? You can perform many of the functions here, no waiting on a line and waiting for your number to be called. *Go on line first to see what DMV services are offered. Planning a trip overseas? You can do it all at AAA - Smithtown! The customer service I received was worthy of a Yelp review. I came to the AAA office early, there was no line and I was out the door with my European permit very quickly. This is a great service and if you need assistance with your travel plans, AAA - Smithtown has your back.

Ski rentals and day passes very inexpensive in Austria compared to what you pay in the US. I became an après ski expert on this January 2024 trip! Bob arranges everything for you well in advance of the trip, accommodating special needs/travel. We met new friends and can't wait to see everyone again. In 2018, my husband & I did Bob's annual Oktoberfest trip, also a fantastic experience. We met several new life long friends on the Oktoberfest 2018 trip. My wife and I just returned from a trip we knocked off our bucket list. More so on my list than my…read morewife's. ; ) We attended Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. The tour group consisted of 29 folks including Bill & Bob from Ginger Peachy. This was not a trip that I could have planned on my own without doing extensive research and legwork. Ginger Peachy did that for us and it was a trip I will always remember. They book everything from the flights, airport transfers, hotels, breakfasts and dinners and most importantly the beer tents. It is quite overwhelming when you first walk into a beer tent and see the thousands of people all there to have a great time. We were glad that this was planned and all we had to do was don our lederhosen and dirdle. We had a wonderful time and met some awesome folks. The tour also included other beautiful excursions such as Garmisch and the top of Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany. We loved seeing the countryside and how people live outside of Munich.
