I haven't stepped into a storage facility in 16 years and this location is so upgraded from I used to pay for in National City. When we made our first trip, my friend said- I forgot what the gate code is & my exact unit number. LOL. While she went into the office and retrieved her info, I waited in my truck. Once she got the info- we drove past the security gates- towards Building G (same building attached to the office). Her unit is located within the 3 story building. On the street level, there's an opening into the building, where you'll find the elevators/ lifts. And the flatbed push carts- which definitely come in handy to move items in a safe, timely manner. Even at this entrance, you'll feel the air conditioner- which makes a difference in the Riverside heat. Ughhh! There are a few parking stalls adjacent to the building entrances. *BTW- if you don't see any of the flatbed carts in Building G- walk over to Building H and look inside that entrance by the elevators. One time we found 7 of the carts. There are 2 elevators for each of these 3 story buildings, which definitely helps customers out. They are decent length, where we could fit 2 carts, side by side. And 3 of us, comfortably. Her unit is the biggest available- and inside her unit and along the hallways- are well lit. She mentioned she got her unit when this facility first opened (about 2 years ago) and they had great MOVE IN offers! They also offer RV storage, which is in the adjacent lot from the buildings. The facility is clean and they have great hours.

They later learned there have been multiple break-ins there and there are no cameras covering that section. From what I was told, people have broken into units and even moved stolen items into other units inside the facility. The experience afterward was just as frustrating -- unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude staff with zero accountability taken by management. I understand theft can happen anywhere, but the lack of communication, security, and concern for customers was unacceptable. If you store valuable items, I strongly recommend choosing a facility with proper surveillance coverage and better customer service.

If you store your items here, you risk losing your valuables even if you document your invoice/contract/interactions as I had. ( FYI they took over a former (much more positive experience there) storage business called C74). They are thieves based on my personal experience. I HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO INTERACT WITH THEIR STAFF WHO I SEE AS A LIAR AND A THIEF. Even with my phone logs and payment history, it's too late now to contest anything, as all my belongings are gone. I can not stress enough how violating this is to lose irreplaceable heirlooms/furniture because someone there felt like screwing over their customer. At the end of the day, it's just things and I'm sure to get over it, but I needed to do my due diligence and be sure to warn anyone else who has their valuables/items here or planning to store their valuables here, that you do so at the risk of them possibly "stealing" (yes, I interpret it as stealing because of my personal experience) it from you because they just feel like it. Maybe they did me a favor and without the storage expense nor efforts to move it, I can turn my energy to other resources. Nonetheless, it's still wrong how this incident has come about. They're creating their own Karma. My experience shows they lack reliable customer service, and they have no proper chain of communication. They just steal others' belongings and could care less about their customers.
