After too much back and forth, I was finally able to schedule kitchen a counter top repair window. They never showed up for the appointment! I reached out and heard back about 2 hours after the scheduled arrival time and was given a 1/2 assed excuse for not showing up or communicating that a reschedule was necessary. Again, I had to ask why they never showed up! I took a day off work, very unprofessional behavior, complete and total disrespect for clients. read more

We started on a 2.5 bath remodel when the general contractor's tile sub created multiple problems on the first full bath. The biggest failure was on the glass mosaic tiles in the shower wall. 5 pieces fell out, the wall was not made plumb, they did not install the pattern in the from the mosaic, and they used the wrong tile cement for glass. 2 ft by 5 ft had to be taken out and restarted. We found Sosa Design through our tile store, and she knew we needed an expert team in installing glass and ceramic tile. We used Jose and team for the Master bath and walk-in closet. He brought in people who knew exactly what we wanted, and they worked with us as the design became more specific. The glass work and flooring turned out fabulous. Even the shower pan is top notch with mosaics. They were thorough, clean, expert artistry, and they are a delight to work with. We are having them return to create a transition piece from the hallway wood floor to the bathroom tile which is now 1/4 inch higher due to heated floor mats installed. Jose suggested using a piece from out vanity quartz top. Can't wait to see it finished. Highly recommend using Sosa Designs for tile work and fabrication. They are top notch. Jose said in the beginning to me: "You will have a different experience with us". I now know what he meant. We are so pleased with the results. I highly recommend them. I contacted Jose to find someone to cut a new tabletop for me as the one I had purchased, had been damaged during shipping. The table is rare, made of travertine by a well known designer Angelo Mangiatotti and from the 70's. It didn't occur to me that the tabletop could be fixed - it was broken into seven pieces. I figured the best and only thing I could do to recoup some of my loss was to have a new top made to fit the legs. Well, Jose said he'd try to fix it which I was very skeptical about but I figured if I didn't like it, we would opt for plan b (new tabletop). Three days later I went to his shop to check out the repair and I was shocked. Really amazing work. I can see the lines along the breaks but it blends-in pretty well and I'm happy. Working with Sosa Designs was a wonderful experience. I needed to have the old granite in the kitchen removed. And new Marble installed. Also a tile back splash . In addition I wanted my fireplace refaced. He was able to give a bid right away and broke down by each project. Jose did an excellent job. His tile crew did great also . My mom had been looking for a Quartz counter pattern that was appealing for her kitchen with accessories and was successfully with Sosa in Livermore, Ca. We worked with Mario Jr. and he provided the Quartz service installation needed, the faucet chosen was discontinue therefore a replaced was deliver instead for the kitchen and the next day the soap dispenser was received. read more

I contacted Jose following recommendation from the store where the slab planned to be purchased and good reviews on Yelp. I explained that I"m looking for specific material and provided all material details long in advance and also mentioned that delivery schedule is very critical. Jose agreed to provide the service on time and confirmed several times that he has exactly requested material in stock. Several weeks later after measurements Jose texted me with the picture of the material he actually have and it was totally different from what we agreed. I spent 2 hrs driving to his place and back to see if there is another material in his stock because delivery of original material was taking another 3 weeks and my project was on hold. We found an acceptable alternative and agreed on the change. On the evening of the same day Jose texted me and said I have to pay $400 more because... I asked to change the material and new material is more expensive... I contacted the same store (he said the price is from there) and the actual price of new slub was about 25% lower then original and whole slab price was about half of the price he asked for entire job (Jose has many slabs like this, he said it's very popular and for my job he used less than half of one slab!)... My project was waiting for countertops and after unpleasant negotiation Jose agreed on original price (instead of discount for cheaper material or compensation for his mistake and after I asked to cancel job request) and said he is not making any money on this job which was clearly not the case. We agreed on the new date and time to pick up the job (have to drive to his place again!), but he didn't show up and job was not ready. Finally I have to wait another 2 hours for job completion and spend another extra hour in traffic on the way back. Jose is not the person you can trust, he may trick the customer just to get business and more money and won't take any responsibility for his commitments. I don't recommend this business. read more
