We called probably 5-6 places. Most places didn't do sunroof repairs, but the ones that did offered $500 and up for parts alone, not including labor. They said parts would take a couple days to a week to come in and labor would take a couple days. We called Fernandez and they quoted us $300 total for labor and parts and were the only ones with the glass on hand. Not even the Toyota dealership had the glass on hand, and we would have spent $2000+ if we went through the dealership. We got to Fernandez and they quoted us what they did over the phone. The repairs took about 2 hours and the glass looks great. The glass they used is used, but it looks new to me. They warned that the sunroof may not open, but I think that's because only strictly replaced the glass and don't fix the tracts. But everything works perfectly. I would highly recommend this place before trying others, as you may save a lot of time and money here first. 10/10

My vehicle does not have windshield-mounted sensors or a front-facing camera, yet they insisted recalibration was mandatory or they wouldn't repair it. I even confirmed with my dealership. This is a classic money grab, adding hidden fees and pushing unnecessary services on customers who may not realize what their vehicle does or doesn't require. I ended up going elsewhere and paid significantly less without the bogus charges. Disappointing experience overall. Not only did I waste the morning for a 2nd time and have to arrange early pickup, but the employee who had confirmed my service and who was here this morning was nowhere to be found, so I didn't even receive an apology. I have used Safelite for many years prior to this experience, but after today, I will not be using them in the future.
