I happened to drive past this shop one day and thought to get an estimate for some cosmetic tweaks to help keep a 2008 Lexus in presentable condition. In fact, went over, explicitly my request for the work to be done two times. For the agreed price the owner said "yes". Wife, dedicated grade school teacher, picks up the car - notices something doesn't look right. Job was not done to the agreed. Went back, owner dismissed me. As a disabled veteran, I like to work with people of integrity. This is NOT a place to choose, unless at your own risk I've been working on cars, and have a classic car, for over 20 years. We were lied to. Fact. Response to this is entirely incorrect: Ron V, you are not the person who I talked to 3 times. Again I asked explicitly for the small rust marks to be routed out and then touched up. This specific requirement for payment was discussed two times, different occasions. Fact. I have done such things with my own car for years. Also fact, I never asked for perfect. You must be confused with someone else. I would never pay $300 for detailing, first of all, and I explicitly stated touchup only not full panels. As a disable veteran, I know what I said. Seriously in tears!! Over a month ago my husband picked up (uber) one of the owners (or managers) friends from BC Body Craft, and he told my hubs that they do really good work. A week later we were t-boned and I called in to check if they'd work out a payment plan with our deductible. They told me to bring it in and they'd definitely work something out with us. Picked up our truck today and it's like brand new! they went above and BEYOND!!! Worked on small dents around the truck that I've been meaning to get to. My car got fixed. I left In good spirits. As I drove my car around for a week, I realized that my windows wouldn't go down anymore, and my car wouldn't lock on the outside door. They told me they would fix it for me (since my car was working fine prior to bring it in... it's their job to fix). I took my car in twice, both times I was there for an hour. They managed to fix 1 of the 3 things that wasn't working. They told me I had to drop it off so they could have my car all day... fine. I drop it off early morning yesterday. Ive been calling them non stop today to get an update on my car since I didn't get a rental (because I used my rental when my car was getting fixed for two weeks) So now we are at the end of day 2 with no word on my car... AND no one to keep me in the loop since I've called numerous times and no one picks up their phone. read more

Yeah I joined Yelp just to write this review. Because usually I'm not a review-writing kind of guy. But sometimes a business performs so exceptionally well you feel obligated to let people know. BC Bodycraft is one of those businesses. The short story: dude blows a red light and smacks into my car hard. Not just any car, but my beloved 2004 Acura RSX Type-S. A car I've kept in pristine condition, with only 45k miles on it. Insurance adjuster says it's "totalled". I talked to a couple body shops before swinging by BC Bodycraft and talking to Ronnie. This guy brings it, the energy and the knowledge. This is no trivial undertaking, pages of parts and sourcing work goes into a complicated restoration like this. Balancing cost/benefit between new, aftermarket, or used parts to find the best value & bang for the buck. I felt like Ronnie was my advocate, putting safety first while being practical and efficient. When I got the call it was ready, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the result was excellent. You'd have to go full-on CSI to really see any difference between how the car was before the accident, and how it looks now. My family and friends were stunned. BC Auto was recommended to me by a friend, so I figured I'd give them a try. My first attempt at service was in April, I had an accident in my work vehicle, so I contacted BC Auto to arrange a tow and estimate. I scheduled the tow, however no one ever showed up and when I called back to ask about the delay there was no record of me calling. Needless to say, I was angry (I moved on and arranged service with another shop). Maybe this was an anomaly, so I decided to give them another try. I called on Oct 23rd and scheduled an appt for Oct 28th with Ronnie.... I'm on my way and call to verify the address. The gentleman who answered the phone tells me Ronnie ain't there!!!! Needless to say, I am PISSED. He tells me that I can make another appointment or take my business elsewhere!!!! No problem.... I will take your recommendation and move on. From the reviews I've read, it appears the actual body work at BC Auto is good, but the customer service is awful. **NOTE TO THE OWNER at BC Auto: the customer service issues should be addressed. Because they are State Farm preferred providers, and my insurance is through State Farmm, the paperwork was very easy. After getting hit, I stopped in on a Saturday right before closing time to get an estimate, without an appointment. I was greeted by Miguel who immediately went to look at my car & review all that had to be done. I discussed some scratches I'd been meaning to get buffed & Miguel told me he'd have those fixed at no extra cost. He is such a nice person & a pleasure to deal with. I dropped my car back off the next day & met Ronnie & went over the details. Ronnie is very nice & had Armando give me a ride to pick up my rental. Both Miguel & Ronnie told me the schedule of what was to be done & when I could expect to pick up my car. Miguel phoned to let me know the day the car was ready & the time I could come. They were polishing, waxing & detailing the inside. My car looks brand new! The paint job on the passenger door was a perfect match & all the scratches were fixed. Weird nonsense. Was involved in a fender bender where the offender's insurance was fronting the bill. I took my vehicle to this place and they were friendly enough, took pictures, and said they would send the info in right away. Two days later I called the insurance company with no word from the body shop; I called the body shop and they said there was an issue and they had to resend the estimate (mind you they had my info and could've called me if they actually caught this little oversight); two more days later still no info was sent to the insurance company. I ended up taking my car to Abra on Ogden in Berwyn, where they were incredibly professional and prompt. If you want to deal with bullshit take your car here. read more

My truck was shot up and I took it to B C. I was literally greeted at my car. I only told Ron the owner my name one time. He reassured me that he would take good care of me. Each time I called which was like 3, he remembered me and was very nice! He took very good care of my truck. When I went to pick it up, there was a lady at the desk who I hadn't met but she was very knowledgeable about me and my truck. Great body shop, great work, great customer service. I have been here numerous times over the years to get multiple cars of mine worked on. Every time I get my car back, it looks pristine and it always comes back on time. Ron, the manager is a great guy who takes care of his customers and goes above and beyond what I've ever seen at a body shop. All of the other workers that I have had contact with have all been pleasant and professional. They've worked on everything from a minor fender bender to a replacing half of my car. Their prices are very reasonable and I refer BC Body Craft to all my family and friends who need body work done on their cars. They will even help you out getting a rental car if you need it. BC Bodycraft personnel, especially the manager, are topnotch! I forgot my cell phone and left it on the chair in the office, and when I came back for it 15 minutes later it was gone. Fortunately, Ron informed me that they had closed circuit cameras and we were able to see who had picked it up and left with it. It was actually the next customer who came in! Ron took the time to call the police, and long story short my cell phone was recovered intact. The other personnel were also very sympathetic and helpful. This place is great! I have used it a couple of times for both my cars. Recently my 5 month old 2013 mini van was in a pretty bad accident. They fixed it very quickly. The paint matched perfectly and it is good as new. Ron the manager made sure that they used brand new parts on the car even though my insurance company was pushing for used parts.
