They have a fair amount of items on the menu. I opted for rib tips, dressing, baked mac&cheese and collard greens. Deeeelicious! You can tell the greens were fresh and they used smoked turkey. The dressing was very good. I was told it was the grandmas recipe. Also i was given a free strawberry lemonade and peach cobbler (excellent) for my wait, about 12 minutes. Very impressed! The atmosphere was clean and the staff were very polite and welcoming. I was given a coupon for 25% off my next visit a my husband and I will surely be back!

The cornbread was good, and I thought the cake was just okay. The only thing I didn't care for at all (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) was the mac and cheese. The women I spoke with on the phone and the woman who gave me the food in the drive-thru were all very nice. Most of the food was excellent and they gave nice portions for the sides. I wanted to try the pork chops but they were out, so I got the rib tips with gumbo greens and dressing for the sides. My dad got the same, and my mom got the fried catfish with yams and turnip greens for her sides. I thought the rib tips were good and I would order them again. The dressing was just "okay" and unfortunately I bit into a large chunk of fat from the turkey meat in the dressing so that didn't help. The real star was the gumbo greens. My dad was also not a fan of the dressing, but he said he would have gotten the gumbo greens for both his sides if he had known how good they were. My mom enjoyed her food as well as the strawberry crunch cake I suggested she get. I am not sure if I missed it my first visit, but when my order was being rung up I noticed a cash and non-cash price flash on the screen. I did not see any signage on the door about the extra fee for paying by card, and the cashier did not mention it. That is such a big pet peeve for me. Had I known in advance, I would have come prepared to pay with cash. I am sure I will return again, but restaurants really need to be transparent about these excess fees.

I found Flavorz on Facebook and seen that they have a rotating specials menu as well as a regular menu. So I followed the page and kept an eye on their rotating menu. Even though everything sounded great, I ordered on a day that Meatball subs was the special, as this is my husband's favorite type of sub. So I ordered ahead and drove over to the restaurant. When I walked in, I noticed a wall of coolers for a variety of drinks (from Faygo, Juices, pop, etc), as well as a large chalk board menu and dessert case. There is also plenty of indoor seating as well as a bright interior. I walked up to the counter and gave my name, paid and had a seat. It took a little longer than expected but between walk in ordering and phone calls, I can tell they were busy. When I got home, the sub was huge - it had 4 large meatballs on it that were perfectly cooked... it was an excellent meatball sub and my husband (picky eater) agreed. We will definitely be going back to order other specials, especially the Zuppa Tuscano (soup). Highly recommend and prices are beyond reasonable for the quality and portion.
