I love the scenic outlook of the park and feel like I get really nice bouts of fresh air here. Sometimes the park entrance gates are closed, which is weird, but it may be due to the weathers so keep that in mind as it's more of a private community park. The set-up of the park is great and the parking is super large. There is a large stage and I just know that this park has big prospects in mind for the future!!! Currently, it's not too packed and at the same time not too empty so we'll see how it goes in the future!!! Bathrooms are clean for a park and am satisfied with the amenities.

We came here with our rackets to play some pickleball and for the first hour it was just enough with the 4 courts. After past the hour mark, it started getting more full and groups were waiting outside the court. Regardless, my boyfriend and I were super happy to have finally checked out this new park after hearing about it from my roommates. Also want to note that the spot has a large stage and ampitheatre-like set-up and we would love to see if there are any community events that pop up here. The sign of the park also just says Porter Ranch Community Park even though it says differently online. Hopefully the name confusion can be fixed. Anyways, this is definitely a wonderful addition for the community and I hope it stays how it is with the maintenance and care! - kid-friendly apparatus area - one basketball court - 4 pickleball courts (looks too small for tennis) - clean bathrooms

The facilities are clean, locker room is old school with two restrooms. Where they lose a star is the weight room. It feels crowded even when it's not. There are two racks though, which is nice. And they recently moved the weight benches to a different, more elongated mirrored wall. Lifting etiquette is off here. Had an old dude take my free weights as soon as I put them down between sets. Took them as they rested in front of my feet! Cycling class is solid at this location. They have a separate building for cycling, attached only to the child care room. The front staff is always welcoming and greets you upon entrance. And this location has less teens doing random stuff in the weight room. Altogether a solid gym. The price seems high for an old school facility, but I travel a lot and you can use the membership all over the US! Therefore, my money is well spent here.

From start to finish, the staff was amazing--super helpful, responsive, and made the entire process feel easy and seamless. Getting our permit approved was quick, and when I had to switch locations last minute (literally a week before), they somehow had availability and got us in. I was so relieved and honestly overjoyed. The space itself was perfect. The shaded picnic table area is such a gem--especially on a hot day, which it definitely was. It kept everyone comfortable and made the setup really easy. The park and playground are also really nice and well-maintained, which made it great for both kids and adults to enjoy. There's also a splash pad, which unfortunately wasn't open during our event only due to the time of year, but I'm already thinking about booking again this summer so the kids can fully enjoy it. Overall, such a smooth, stress-free experience. Highly recommend for anyone planning a party or gathering!

On our last visit she persevered and got all the way across the monkey bars on her own. The previous time we took her there she needed boosting. Not only is she growing taller; she's growing stronger. It was a totally different experience to take her there directly after school on a Monday, versus on a busy weekend day. She practically had the whole play structure to herself. She did find several other kids to challenge on the climbing areas. Then she was kind enough to push a few younger girls on the oversized teeter totter equipment. Of course she wanted ice cream when the ice cream truck came around, but we were planning to go for dinner and frozen yogurt, so we had to disappoint her desire for getting ice cream at the park. SG has previously taken beginner ballet classes at Mason Park, and likely will play soccer here if she goes back to that activity in the future. They offer a lot of varied options for children to play independently, or take formal classes. SG also attended summer camp last summer once school finished up. She has positive associations with this city park. From an adult's perspective, the play areas are mostly in good shape, although there is definitely some wear and tear in the cushioned flooring in places. It's nice to have benches for the older family members to hang out while watching the younger generation.

I eventually received a text message to which I replied with hopes to get information on hosting a birthday party here. I did receive the information HOWEVER, I followed up with "great how can I make a deposit? Can I swing by to view the space?" Never received a reply. I figured it's a business they are likely busty. So I made it a point to visit to hopefully secure a spot for the birthday party. I was advised to visit after 8pm as someone to help would likely be there at that time. In addition I was told to try calling the number I had already tried connecting with. My issue isn't so much not being able to host an event here as much as it's the lack of communication. I waited a few days as I usually like to give the benefit of the doubt...which then lead me to lose potential other locations for the event. Just not great business.

The day of the party was absolutely perfect my family and I were allowed to go in 30 minutes prior to the party to set up. Once our guest arrived everything was done and ready to have a great game of basketball. Most importantly my son had an amazing time and his friends enjoyed their time at his party. Please give this small little place a chance as they are working out the kinks!
