We met friends of a friend for lunch here arriving around 10:30 AM so glad we arrived early. Upon entering the whole place is decorated 'Cajun' style, purple and gold and all things Louisiana. Walk down a step over to the back of the restaurant where the food is served cafeteria style. You can get it in a to-go container (highly recommend) or on a platter. We all chose the to-go container because he piled on the so good food!! Smothered ribs, white rice, collard greens, stuffed turkey, shrimp stew, corn, etc. The menu changes depending on the day of the week; we were there on a Thursday. Consensus amongst our group was that ALL food items were delicious. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful, quick to answer all of our many questions. Bring your appetite when visiting, it was hard to decide what to get, we were all happy with our choices. Highly recommend eating here.

The potato salad was not potato salad but some unearthly mana from a special place that could only be made by magic. Then, I ate some of the Black Berry cobbler. At the first bite I heard a chorus of angels singing, and as I went deeper into the cup the chorus grew louder. I was teary eyed when I finished the Black Berry cobbler.
